I normally come to this location on a regular. Not sure what happened but stafff changed and the service has completely disappeared. Tonight we sat at a high top at the bar and ordered queso and wanted to order food. Queso never came so we had to go to the walk up register to order. And then the bar tender showed up and said she would get the queso and never did. So I went to the kitchen myself to get it. And they handed me Burnt queso. Not even joking. When I went to the kitchen window to get the queso the kitchen staff were wrestling around. Now we are sitting here waiting for our food that we had to walk over to the register to order. I'm beyond disappointed because this has always been my spot. But this is the last time we will come here. SAD!

2 stars bc MAYBE the food is good but I'll never know. Walked into the restaurant, stood there for 10 minutes and nobody greeted me. I asked one older man who came out of the kitchen where I can pick up food and he refused to talk to me and pointed at the kitchen. I sit there for a few minutes and nobody talked to me. Then I walked over to the bar to ask the bartender who was the only person I could find that worked there, where I could pick up my order. She just pointed at the back and didn't say anything. I told her nobody was there to greet me and she just looked at me with the most disgusted look. I will never recommend coming here because the staff is unhappy. I have no idea why the bartender was in such a bad mood, but I included a photo of her. There's 1000 taco restaurants, try a different one.

I had an ok experience here. I waited a long time for my to go order. It could be that it was a freak anomaly. It seemed like a few orders got mixed up. They were cool about it and apologetic. The food. They have an interesting mix of tacos. I got tres kinds. Fish, shrimp and brisket. The sea food could come as grilled or fired. I chose grilled. The heart wanted fried but alas. In any case the best one was the brisket. The sea ones were not bad but not great either. Overall decent but not strong enough to bring me back all the way. If I lived nearby I'd probably hit them up once in a while but I already have a nearby semi-decent taco place to fill that void.

We visited the Fuzzy's Taco shop on Main St. in Frisco. We have found that this location is always consistent with service and food quality. The shrimp tacos are always a favorite of mine as well as the chips and queso. The magic powder on the chips keeps us coming back! We ordered salsa at the counter but when I went to pick it up at the window, somehow it was missed during the order and not included on the receipt. The young man behind the counter gave us the salsa to go with our chips and queso and told us not to worry about it. That was very nice. They also provide free refills on the chips. The grilled veggie tacos were also good but I wish there was more variety in the grilled veggies for the vegan/vegetarian clients (i.e. grilled mushrooms, zuchinni, etc....).

There were so many people waiting outside. It was so nice to be able to be seated quickly, especially with kids in tow. They did not offer reservations beyond 5:30 that day, so you'll have to be aware when placing it. You'll receive a text confirmation from Open Table. Be courteous if you need to change or cancel your reservations. We were seated in one of the smaller rooms, which was great! We had good service even though they were extremely busy. We came here for our favorites that we usually order at their other location. The frozen mango margarita is thought of fondly. While it was good, it didn't taste quite as good as I remember it in the past. A very faint mango flavor, it tasted like a plain frozen margarita with orange coloring. It was disappointing since we looked forward to it for so long. The chips are always delicious. We ordered the chicken fajitas for 2 with no onions and they brought us combo chicken & steak fajitas for 2. We just ate it and took home the leftovers. They brought us a container to pack up and processed our tab quickly. Overall, a good visit with a couple of small opportunities for improvement. There are not enough parking spaces in their parking lot! We had to park next door by Academy. We parked far from the store as to not take away parking from Academy shoppers.

The photos make it look very lively and fun so imagine our surprise at happy hour on a Friday walking into an entirely empty restaurant! Two couples inside and a couple guys drinking on the patio. We still decided to stay because we were hungry and the place itself is super duper nice and cute! We opted to sit at the bar where we were kindly greeted and two TVs playing football with no volume (which I love)! The barstools were very comfortable as well. Ordered two of the BEST margaritas I've ever had with the gran marnier! I now want all my margs made this way. No need for a second! For food, the enchilada verde and the taco lunch plates were pretty dang good. No complaints there and the servings were reasonable and not too much from the lunch menu. No leftovers. Really enjoyed the verde. Chips and salsa were something to write home about! Amazingly toasted and crunchy, I should have asked for a bag to go with just those chips! Very good! All in all, the staff was too kind and it happened to be my friend's birthday so I "snuck away to the restroom" and told our waiter and he surprised us with a perfect tres leches slice that was absolutely delicious! For lunch and margs I spent $65 and he treated us with that dessert and I felt like that was so sweet! Thank you team at Lalo! You guys were great and I now actually like that the restaurant was slower at the time but I do hope they pick up because it was a great place for us! Enjoyed very much and if we are ever back in the area we will stop through.

The building is stunning, the décor is elevated, and the layout is much more spacious compared to the previous Gloria's location. You can definitely tell there was a full renovation, and it gives a more modern, open feel. I arrived right around opening (11 AM) and chose to sit at the bar. There were a few guests already there enjoying drinks and chips, which created a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. The bar staff--two gentlemen--were kind, attentive, and professional. I ordered a glass of Chardonnay, which came out promptly and was excellent. However, the timing of the food service is where things fell short. I ordered shrimp tacos, yet a guest seated next to me--who ordered after I did--received his entrée (which appeared to be a steak dish) well before mine. Considering it wasn't busy, this was a bit surprising. I did have to follow up on my order before it was brought out. When my food arrived, it was good overall, but it could have been warmer. I also added mixed vegetables, and this is something I want to highlight for safety purposes. The vegetables included greens like spinach with stems that were not properly trimmed or cut. I actually had a moment where I almost choked, which was concerning. This is definitely something the kitchen should review, as it could pose a risk if not prepared carefully. Overall, I would rate this experience a 7/10. The ambiance, drinks, and overall quality of food were solid, and I will absolutely return--Gloria's/Mexican Sugar has always been one of my go-to spots in Dallas. With a few improvements in food timing, temperature, and preparation details, this location has the potential to be exceptional. 7/10

Not a good start. Ordered a frozen swirl margarita and normally this drink would give me a buzz. Not this time. Couldn't tell if there was alcohol in it. Maybe they're skimping on the Top Shelf? Ordered enchiladas- beef with red sauce, and chicken with sour cream sauce. The chicken was moist, but both sauces were bland. Like seriously-no taste. The rice on the plate was shaped liked a hockey puck and had the same consistency. Didn't order dessert. Was pretty put off by the food. I really hope they get their act together and stop cutting corners. The new place is nice, but I feel like they're trying to save $$ to pay for this new location. I'll try again in a few months. They got 3 stars for nostalgic reasons and a hope they get back to what made them so good before. But for now, cost cutting is the primary menu item.

They maintained authenticity for many years expanding even into other states. Then,as often happens, the nose dive began. As a result I quit eating at Chuy's,even when visiting Austin. Not the same. Then,a few months ago enter Darden Restaurant Group. They bought Chuy's lock stock and barrel folding it into their operations which includes one of my faves, Longhorn Steakhouse. I was anxious to try Chuy's again and see if the Upward recovery had begun. I overlooked the Plano location having never liked it that much in favor of the newer Frisco location.
