Dimensional blonde color

Jim Speck is an exceptionally good colorist! Jim listened and gave me the most natural bright Summer blonde color. His talent does not end with color, Jim also gave me an excellent haircut that looks good styled and unstyled. He provides a truly professional experience. Glad I found him!

I would like to start off by saying I don't even want to leave the house with my hair looking like this . I booked the appointment stating several times I wanted to go all over blonde , and that I was currently brunette . I get there and David the salon owner was the one I scheduled with he starts off by telling me that all over blonde will make my hair orange and that pretty much it's not going to happen today . I've gone all over blonde before with my old stylist and it was beautiful and healthy ( I've had dyed hair prior to that as well ) , David says we can only do all over highlights . I had already drove over an hour and since he's the owner he must know what he's doing, right ? However , I wish I had just left and saved my money & time . After my hair was done processing he didn't ask what I wanted to tone it with I guess he just made an executive decision on that and instead of mixing more toner he just kept slapping the bottle trying to get every little drop out , I'm paying you so maybe just mix more so there's enough to evenly tone ? Then when he's brushing my hair a bunch of my hair started breaking off and falling off which has absolutely never happened , I've had my hair done plenty of times to know that something was obviously done wrong . I could tell from the moment I sat down he wasn't interested in a long process which is probably why he didn't want me to do all over blonde . Now I am stuck with this y2k blotchy , brassy and chunky highlighted hair . I'm a very understanding person , I know platinum blonde doesn't just happen after the first appointment but this is absolutely ridiculous $200 after tip . Ofcourse I tipped because , I would have liked to think he tried his best but In reality he clearly just wanted to get me out ASAP ! I was in shock to see how absolutely awful it truly was once I got home .

Love this place. Was my first time there. Decided to try it because a few of my girlfriends have visited and left with beautifully done color/cuts. George did highlights and cut. He was amazing! Great conversation and clearly highly skilled in his craft. I'll definitely return. Staff is awesome and the whole vibe there made the long ass time it takes to do foils and cut really enjoyable. As I watched other stylists with their clients, was also impressed with their work. Micella at the front desk is also a super treat! Cherry Creek quality without the snob appeal. Works for me!

Jim was a miracle worker great job doing my hair very friendly nice shop definitely see Jim if you want a good haircut and color!

I truly wasnt going to leave a review because i expected my situation to be handled more professionally and i understand that mistakes happen, but it wasnt so here i am. I have straight hair (easy to work with), i came in asking for a half inch to an inch trim and a refresh on my existing face framing pieces/ layers. Made sure to express that i am in the process of growing my hair out. I watched this man (George) realize he had screwed up when he chopped a fat chunk of my hair. No accountability, no attempt to remedy the situation. Even if i had asked for a mullet, its still a horribly choppy and uneven mullet. Its bad. No apology from management when i called asking for a refund bc to spend a nickle on this haircut would be too much. My front "face framing pieces" were cut to my earlobe and that length was taken all the way back to behind my ear. Except for some random strands that were left long? Its so weird and so bad. Thank god im pretty in the face bc if not this would ruin me.

so many great reviews. Sadly, I can't relate. I went to Salon Utopia met with Stevie as he was recommended to me . We decided we'd do a balyage. I was thrilled until the next day my hair was a brassy green color. Went in a couple days later to re tone, only for it to switch up again the next day. concerned I texted Stevie, he recommended I use a red conditioner; not familiar with the product I sent a couple pictures via text wanting to make sure I was buying the right product. Instead, I got a really rude annoyed response back. After spending more than 200 dollars at this franchise, I guess I just expected more. No one deserves to be talked to the way I was for simply wanting aftercare instructions.

I have been going to David for 17 years, since I was 11. David is a visionary when it comes to hair! Whether I want a change in style or need maintenence David is the go to man. During college I did try to cut corners and had a few others do my hair. I realized Davids skill was exceptionally better than many out there and couldnt imagine going anywhere else. Great coloring, styles and cuts. I can walk in with an exact style in mind and he is able to provide guidance along with delivering exactly what I want. I can also walk in and ask him to do something new and exciting and I walk out feeling and looking classy, elegant and fresh. I recently just had to relocated to Seattle for work and I am considering flying in just to have him do my hair.

THE PERFECT HAIRCUT!

Maddie is the BEST!!! She took time to look at pictures with me, talk to me about exactly what look I wanted , and how I like to style my hair. She totally got it. My hair turned out better than any of the pics! In addition to being a great stylist, Maddie is super careful and precise too. She triple checked that everything was exactly even and perfect. She's super sweet too, so it was a great experience. Can't wait til next time!!

This was my first but definitely not my last experience at Salon Utopia. I'd like to start off by saying the entire staff is more than wonderful, starting from the owners and trickling down throughout their entire staff. It is a team where everyone looks out for each other and each other's clients. One team member in particular I was very fortunate to have worked on my hair. I have to say that Bilal truly amazing, with a born talent for hair. He spent his own time picking out colors and a cut for me because I was indecisive. He walked me through everything he wanted to do and made it comfortable and easy. He transitioned my dead ends and dull color into vibrate alive hair. If I had to recommend one person at this universally amazing salon Bilal would be it.

Brooklyn did the most amazing job on my new fall look!! She always does a great job with everything she does

About a year ago, I decided to color my greying hair for the first time. Having never done color before, I researched online and found Deseo Salon. I made an appointment for a consult and met the fabulous Rachel. From the moment I chatted with her, I trusted her implicitly. She understood my concerns, my hopes, and -- most importantly -- my hair. She was one of the warmest people I had ever met and our rapport was immediate. Since that time, I have come to know more about this young, brilliant stylist. She is gracious, effervescent, gentle, and interesting. I persuaded my husband -- who hadn't been to a stylist in about six decades -- to come with me and have Rachel cut his hair. He said that he now knew what I'd been raving about for months. Beyond Rachel, the salon is wonderful. They recently moved into new and upscaled quarters. It is contemporary and sleek, yet exudes a warm welcome; it is open and bright, and yet gives a feeling of privacy in each stylist's space; it is softly-scented, evoking a mood of calm and serenity, and yet there is enough bustle and enthusiastic conversation to highlight the camaraderie between stylist and client. Deseo is eco-conscious -- a place where sustainabillity feels indulgent, not austere! Being there is a restorative experience. The front desk staff is outstanding, too. On a very personal note, I want to share two quick stories. One day I arrived at my appointment and was suddenly called to a family member's medical emergency. Despite their policy about cancelled appointments, they understood, didn't charge me, and told me to take my time and that I could rebook whenever I wished. The first time my husband accompanied me, he was offered -- as is everyone upon entering -- a beverage. He requested decaf coffee which they did not have. Yesterday, on his second visit, the lovely receptionist told him that she had ordered decaf specifically because he had asked for it on his first visit. For someone to go above and beyond based on the "need" of one customer is a sign of the caring that this salon exhibits. I cannot say enough good things about Deseo. Go here! Relax here! Enjoy here! And definitely book Rachel. When you find yourself in Rachel's chair, you know that you're in the hands of a stunning and talented professional.

My request was simple: CHUNKY balayage. CHUNKYYYY. I had pictures to show what I wanted. Mostly warm highlights with some cool sprinkled in. I also asked to add texture to my hair but keep the length (it was below my bra line). Nope... goodbye 6 inches I didn't ask to lose (now it's just below my shoulders). I had THICK voluminous hair, and now it's like I have the Rachel haircut. They foiled my hair to death and I ended up almost platinum blonde when the foils came out, and then to add insult to injury, you could clearly see the lines where the highlights began where it looks almost burnt at the edges?? We went back in for another TWO hours to make it warmer, but by that time my hair was fried, and now I have a bald spot I didn't have before. He offered to fix it in another few weeks after my hair has had time to settle, but I'm never letting anyone there touch my head again. I'm too nice of a person and still managed to crack a semi smile when it was finally done, but now I'm left with tears and silent screaming to hold back my utter horror at what they left me with. If you didn't get the memo: I don't recommend them. Even after everything, he still had the audacity to charge me $250 (discounted) and said I didn't need to leave a tip. Umm, thanks? God only knows how long this is going to take to fix... Should've gone to Fluff Bar. Thanh, you should've comp'd it and ask I not leave a bad review, which I totally would've said yes to not doing. Lesson learned? Was the juice really worth the squeeze? Looks like I'm not the only one who's had this happen to them? Ladies or gents: If you want balayage or any kind of coloring service, do NOT go here. This is NOT their specialty. Run. UPDATE: Went to a highly reviewed salon a few days after my visit with Vo where I had two pros look at my hair to assess the situation (and probability of me somehow getting what I originally wanted), and both agreed that what Vo did to my hair was "pretty bad" and unprofessional. All I heard, as they were slowly combing and lifting through my hair, were soft whispers and gasps of horror with the occasional, "Girl look at this... omg..." After hearing what they could do to fix the mess Vo left me with (weeks of painstaking piece meal work and god-knows-how-much-money) I ultimately decided to have them take me back to my original brown so I could start over from square one. THAT'S how bad it was. All that time and money just to go back to brown and have my hair be short and thin instead of long and thick. God I could scream. I appreciate you offering to fix the mess you left me with, Thanh, but no thanks. I would much rather you spend the time you would've taken on fixing my hair to spending it on some coloring courses instead. Just because you own a salon doesn't mean you've mastered the art of hair. The other guy whom you trained on the fly with me has a lot of learning to do also. I could tell he didn't know what he was doing and yet you still let him touch my hair while you juggled two other clients. Unacceptable service. On top of that, neither you or the other guy ever made small talk with me, which I've never experienced at a salon in all my life. Like, not a single word or question about my day or even my name. Even if you guys had done a great job, I still wouldn't have come back due to that alone. K I'm done. Lesson learned I hope. Best of luck to you.

This appointment had been scheduled months in advance. When I received the 48-hour reminder text, I was in the middle of moving and in one of the busiest stretches of my work year. I immediately tried to call to cancel, but they were closed that day and there was no clear way to cancel through any other method. Because of everything going on, calling back the next day unfortunately slipped my mind. On the day of the appointment, they called me, and I apologized for missing it and explained the situation. During that conversation, it sounded like they might be able to work with me to avoid being charged for a service I didn't receive. However, a few days later I checked my bank account and saw that I had been charged the full amount. While I understand this may be their official policy, I reached out again to explain that I had attempted to cancel and had no available option to do so within the 48-hour window. What followed was a drawn-out process where I was consistently never called back in the time frame I was told and ultimately I was informed I would still be responsible for the full charge. After three years of loyalty--and even considering recommending them for my brother's upcoming wedding--this experience was extremely disappointing.
