    This is the very best experience I have had at a salon. Samantha is a highly skilled stylist and has golden hands. I cannot recommend her enough. She knows her stuff. Excellent color and cutting as well as nourishing my hair with quality products that have greatly improved the condition of my hair. Everything about the salon was exceptional. Thank you Samantha.

    Wow! Impressed doesn't even begin to describe how I feel about this salon. What a Breath of fresh air. I'm always weary about new stylist and someone dealing with my very thick & long hair, but Arlene got the job done beautifully! She had an assistant as well who did a wonderful job helping Arlene throughout the whole process. Arlene is also one of the owners of the salon. I received a keratin treatment which there are several different kinds you can get, and it would be best to call in and talk with someone to figure out what suits your hair best. The salon is very clean and trendy! Love the interiors design as well as all the updated salon supplies and appliances. The bathroom was clean and everyone was following mask guidelines due to the current times we are in. They really focus on hair care and health here as well as your natural hair and curls (if for you) and I love that! Arlene was a delight to meet. We had great conversation & im so glad one of my aunrw referred me to her! There are several different stylists that work that and I would recommend her to ANYONE that is looking for a new Stylst & the salon as a whole to visit for your next hair care or style appointment!

    Very disappointed with my service at Salon Ciseaux. I hadn't received any reminders about my hair appointment, so I called the salon at 1:27 PM to confirm that I still had my 2 PM that I had scheduled on my last trim back last November. They confirmed I was scheduled for 2 PM and would see me soon. I arrived to the salon 10 minutes before my appointment time at 1:50 PM and checked in, asking the receptionist how much my trim would cost. She replied that it would be $110. I objected, explaining that I only needed at quick trim and no styling. She then quoted me $85, unless my stylist Arlene ended up doing more than just a trim. So I was reluctantly in agreement to the $85 (which is still a bit high for just a quick trim). I sat and waited for my 2 PM appointment until Arlene finally came to get me at 2:32 PM -- 32 minutes past my appointment time. Arlene proceeded to give me a dry trim, after I explained to her that I didn't want any length cut off, as I'm trying to grow my hair longer, but that I only came in because she had advised me to get trims every 3-4 months to keep it in shape and healthy while growing it out. Arlene snipped for about 10 minutes or so, then rubbed a little mousse on my dry hair and sent me to checkout. I had requested two products (Ouidad Curl Quencher and Wella hair mask). The receptionist explained that my total was $205.83 and she asked if I wanted to leave a tip. I asked her how much of that was the cost of the trim. She replied that the trim was $110 and the products were $85 (I assume before tax). I questioned the amount, asking "For just a trim?" and she said "Yes." I declined including a tip because 1) I felt I was overcharged for what little I got; and 2) my appointment was over 30 minutes late. Arlene spent less than 16 minutes on my hair, from 2:32 PM when she got me from their waiting area, until 2:48 PM is the time stamped on my receipt after checkout (see image of receipt), charging me $110 for a simple trim, without a wash, dry or styling. Since I left without styling, I immediately threw my hair into a high pony, since it wasn't at all attractive looking (see included pics). I feel I was grossly overcharge for what I got, as well as, my time being disrespected. I just don't feel 16 minutes of the stylists's time was worth $110 of my money for a simple trim. I was a client at this salon over the last 10 years, but never have I felt so taken advantage of and disappointed, which is why I'm leaving this review :(

    I am that person that never leaves happy after a haircut and needs days to adjust. After many years I found a great stylist but then I moved away. I spent two years without having a haircut until I was convinced by a fellow curly-haired friend to try a Deva Cut. I decided to give Salon Ciseaux a try and was I in for a great surprise! I really liked the results instantly. Samantha was friendly, knowledgeable and skilled. I thought that I knew a lot about curl-care but I learned quit a lot more. I feel I went in for a cut and also left with the knowledge to style my curls better. Thanks Samantha and Salon Ciseaux!

    Lemme just say, this was my first time coming into the salon and it was a little overwhelming due to all the hurricane commotion. A lot of people were being squeezed in before the inevitable, which I understand. I originally went in for a dry deva cut, but I didn't actually receive that... I kinda expected that, given the texture of my hair and how dramatically different I wanted my hair. My stylist Arlene was very nice and positive! She provided me a lot of helpful guidance for future routines, as did the other lovely ladies in the salon that washed/styled my curls. Nobody hesitated to ask me if I needed water/wine, which was so sweet. I could see there were some veteran customers in there and after my visit, I can see why! My ONLY complaint (and reason for removing a star) is that I wish I hadn't still been charged for the Deva Cut, as I didn't actually get that experience... I really got a normal cut/style. Thankfully, I had a Yelp Coupon for it being my first visit. That's my only "meh" experience, but I plan to return back! UPDATE 9/12/19 - These ladies definitely deserve their stars. I updated my previous review as an appreciation of their fantastic service. I had a two-week recheck done today, and the atmosphere in the salon was much calmer. That immediately put me at ease, which Arlene furthered by listening to the small updates I wanted to the cut. She provided a sample of DevaCurl cleanser for me, and I took her recommendation for the Quidad Climate Control gel. I'm a happy lady!

    I got my deva cut with Arlene while I was in town for my work trip. She did a great job. I was able to take tome before the cut to explain to her the style I had in mind. So also mentioned to her my current products weren't working as well and she recommended some other products for me that I love! Everyone at the salon was very professional and I thought the price for the cut was reasonable ($89, I've paid more for deva cuts at other salons) Another thing I liked about her salon is they allow you to come back a week or two after the initial cut for a touch up. I was able to come back a week later to make any small adjustment. If I'm ever in the Orlando area again I'll be visiting this salon for another curly cut

    One year ago today, I'm reminded of this amazing haircut Arlene gave me. She is ALWAYS amazing!
