Brianna is amazing! She takes her time and really understands the look you're going for. Salon 1971 is very aesthetically pleasing on the inside, but they are missing a sign outside, so it may be a bit confusing finding it the first time. For my first appointment Brianna corrected my ombré, and turned it into to everything I wanted! The cut/blow dry was amazing; she has very gentle hands and checked in to make sure I was doing ok. Second appointment was equally as great! She took me from ombré to red! All this without damaging my hair. Honestly, this review doesn't do her justice. What an amazing salon! I'm so happy my friend referred me to this place. 1st of all the girls are pretty wonderful. They make every effort possible to make you feel comfortable and welcome. They did an up-do for me and my two daughters. They did an incredible job. We also got our makeup done as well since we had a special engagement on Saturday. We received compliments all day on our hair and makeup. I drove down from San Diego and am trying to figure out how I can get my color and highlights done on a normal day! Lol... It is a newer salon so they are still trying to work out their street signage, but you wouldn't know it from being inside the salon. I love this place! Getting my hair done by Brianna always leaves me feeling beautiful and confident. She understands exactly what I want (even if I'm ill prepared, without pictures) and throws in her own creative flair, delivering beyond my expectations. The ambiance is really chill, friendly, accommodating and there's a good variety of music playing to enjoy while they're busy making you look cute. The prices are very reasonable and most importantly WORTH IT, since all the staff is very customer orientated and professional. Went here because my friend suggested it. It is a little pricey (for what I'm use to since I don't really take care of my hair) but it was well worth it!! Very did an amazing job not only cutting and styling my hair but talking me thorough on how to maintain it. She told what products she was using and how to properly use the curling iron ( I mean I comb my hair but I'm not detail oriented) she was friendly and attentive. Finally I received the haircut of my dreams! I spent over 4 hours at the salon turning my from dark brown hair to a light grey. It took two bleaching treatments and one tint. Veronica was the gal in charge of my hair, props to her! The salon overall was clean and very friendly. The staff gave me compliments that just put a smile on my face.
