Throughout the service, the lady mentioned several times that I already had a lot of color in my hair, which seemed to be her concern. However, this would have been my third highlight appointment at your salon, and another hairstylist was able to successfully work with my hair during both of my previous highlight services without any issues. Unfortunately, the highlights were only applied mainly to my roots rather than being brought down and blended through the hair. As a result, my roots are now significantly lighter than the rest of my highlighted hair, creating a noticeable difference between the new growth and the existing highlights. The final result does not resemble the look I requested or what I have previously received at that salon. I've constantly reached out to see if it would be possible to get fixed and never heard back honestly so disappointed and won't be returning

She then tells me i might not be able to get my makeup done because they don't know when they'll be back in the store and they will be backed up because of the morning appointments that they're missing so panicked i call sephora explain what happened spoke to kerri who was an absolute angel and they said they're aware of what happened they'll be able to help me out if i wanna come in. Little did i know that i would be blessed with claudia who was so nice and extremely talented. Not only did she make sure i left looking absolutely amazing with a full face of beetle juice makeup but she was so friendly and funny and made me feel like she actually cared about how my makeup turned out, she didn't make me feel rushed or like it was an inconvenience at all. She was the most amazing make up artist and i'm so thankful that she turned my terrible situation into a blessing. Sephora is amazing and i won't go anywhere else ever again.

**Please note that this review is delayed about three weeks** I booked an appointment online and…read morearrived on time for the service I had scheduled. Upon checking in, I was informed by the front desk staff that Nyeisha does not work on Sundays. This was confusing, as the salon's booking website clearly showed Nyeisha as available at the time and date I selected, and my appointment had been successfully confirmed. I asked whether Nyeisha would be coming in since the appointment was booked under her name, but I was told that she would not be coming in. I was then informed that "someone" would be reaching out to me. After waiting a few minutes, I received a call from "Shaniya," who apologized for the mix-up and explained that the appointment had not been noticed because the booking system was not checked. I was asked if I could reschedule for Tuesday, but I declined, as I arrived with unwashed hair specifically expecting to receive the service I had already paid a deposit for. I requested a refund and explained that I would be writing a review based on this negative experience. I genuinely enjoy supporting Black-owned businesses and want to see them thrive. However, experiences like this reinforce the importance of strong operational practices, particularly in areas such as booking management, communication, and customer care. Professional systems and accountability are essential to delivering a salon experience that meets modern client expectations. This review is not meant to target individual stylists or salons, but rather to shed light on customer service weaknesses that significantly impacted my experience. I hope the salon takes this feedback seriously and implements improvements moving forward.
