So this hair cuttery is in a shopping center in Medford. I had been to that center previously as it was the same center as the Thrift Shop for Angela's House, a charitable organization that supports residences for the disabled. It is also a center with a good Turkish restaurant. I have been to other Lemon Tree shops but this one is more pleasant looking than others. The staff is pleasant and, additionally, they have great price packages on Mondays and Tuesdays. I have worked with Patricia who is really quick, which I really like, and she does a great job. Seriously they should shut this place down. I dead coming here for a haircut. Had no choice today. I am flying out on Tuesday and my usually barber up the block called out sick today. So I figured how bad can it bee. Sat in the chair asked the lady to just clean it u. Buzz #6 on the side trim not to short on the top and keep the side burns. She buzzed my entire head with a # 6 literally game me an army cut. My sideburns are gone. Hair all in my face and down my back. Took her 3 minutes flat. She was so fast that before I could say anything about the top buzz she already had a line done. Total idiot who should not even be allowed to hold a butter knife let alone a pair of scissor. Stay away!! Horrible customer service!! Triple book and randomly cancel your appointment with no warning! I drove 25 minutes two times to walk out with my hair not even touched! The hairdressers also take their friends and start doing their hair even though their friends come in after you and you have an appointment! Horrible customer service stay away from lemon tree on route 112 in PATCHOGUE! Waste of time!! You can use the gas money & time spent and get a real talented hair dresser! I can not respond to the response below so I will respond here. What you said is NOT true in regards to her just hugging the lady.. she went and started to wash her hair and also tell her how she will do her hair back and forth while doing the highlights for the lady already in her chair.. not once mention my trim? I was already waiting 30 minutes past my appointment to be seated and her friend walks in and is seated right away. Why did she get seated and her hair washed before mine? This is my third time making an apt same hairdresser same salon and I never will again! Also In regards to my appointment being canceled without a call... Just visited Lemon Tree in Patchogue. The salon was clean and tidy. The staff was friendly. My stylist, Patty, was terrific! I was able to tell her what I wanted in a color and cut and she came through! I will be back! Prices are great too! read more

This woman cut my neck MULTIPLE times with the buzzer while she was bickering with the other haircutter about how much she hates kids. Terrible place unless you enjoy torture. The haircut was also not what I asked for and she had very little interest in doing it right. read more

Stopped here on a whim as I was passing by... Only two stylists in there at the time with older gentleman getting cut, now I know why. The woman who shampooed my hair was more preoccupied with a conversation that half of my head was still dry! Now time for the cut.. She uses a wide tooth comb and doesn't even get all the knots out, I had stated a specific length I wanted my hair at and she still cut it about 3 inches shorter than that, I wouldn't even let her blow dry my hair I was so upset. Now that I am home trying to do something with this botched hair cut the cut is all uneven!! I will NEVER return!!! read more

This place is great! If you go, ask for Jen. She's been the only one who can touch my hair for the last few years. She is very good. I always get a wash and cut. It's not expensive and unlike other salons who over charge because I have thick long hair, this one doesn't! It's a nightmare finding a good salon for women. read more
