So, I've mentioned I'm Greek before. I'm also incredibly picky. These both come into play on my…read moreskincare and hair removal choices- I'm a furball and cant stand being unhappy with my eyebrows. I also cant stand the subpar hygiene practices that can come with going to just any nail salon- double dipped wax applicators, no gloves, and cloth covered procedure tables jump to mind right away. None of that flies here. I started seeing Angela a few years ago at another wax center and I am so excited that she has made the leap to launching her own business! She is spotlessly clean and consistently does excellent work. Angela gets as excited about beautiful eyebrows as I do and truly cares about giving you the best brows for your face. When I first came in I kept asking for thinner, arched brows. After several months of coming in religiously, we were able to achieve a strong arch in my thick, straight Greek brows. Now that I have that we can go a little thinner and not lose the shape. Not to sound crazy but I feel so much better about my face now. I trust her so much that I now get some extra body waxing taken care of as well- something I never thought I would be able to do as a furball. I tried getting a Brazilian once beforehand by another waxer that used subpar wax, and it was not fun times. But as I keep going my hair is getting thinner and finer, so it's not a problem at all. Appointments are necessary but it's so easy to set one up- you can call or text to do so, and she's very accommodating to what time you need. Her prices are REALLY reasonable- and either cash or credit card is fine. For right now Angela only offers waxing and microblading, but look towards more skincare services in the future as well.

My wife works with a woman who said, East Setauket? I go there to get my eyebrows threaded…read more I am Italian with one of my grandmothers Greek. So I have hair growing everywhere! I have to keep my eyebrows in check otherwise I'd look like Bert from Sesame Street. No one wants to see that so every quarter I get an eyebrow tune up. I am not a fan of eyebrow waxing. It sounds barbaric, they smear hot wax on your face, press tape on the wax and PULL! My sensitive skin can't handle that, I usually have marks for days on my face. So when I hear about a threading spot in my neighborhood, I'm going to investigate. I walk in at noon for my appointment. No one is at the front desk, after 3 minutes, I said hello? Someone comes to the front desk and checks me in. My appointment is with Lucy, she shows up about a minute later and brings me into her office. Now with threading, there's participation! Lucy tells me to hold my eye as she takes her magic thread, almost like dental floss and goes to work. The end result, I have a cleaned up face. The question is, what is your pain level? Both procedures, to keep my youthful appearance, there's some pain involved. Nature's Touch Day Spa also does sugaring, that topic is for another review. I tell this story to my brother in law, he laughs at me. The final result, I have my mani-pedi-eyebrow wax complete and I'm ready for vacation. It takes a village to keep me groomed, Nature's Touch Day Spa is now in my rotation.

Honestly anything, she waxed my eyebrows and botched those too. I got a Brazilian laser hair removal and she literally spent the whole time fat shaming me. She saw that I developed some stretch marks on my thighs (which are from working out my glutes because I've been working out harder) and she continued to call my body type undesirable and say I should stop eating and diet to become a more desirable body type. Besides the traumatizing things she'd say to me, I've spent $750 on laser hair removal only on Brazilian and I see no difference. She is quite literally a fraud who stole my money and left me feeling as if it was unnatural to grow hair and have hips.
