Siobhan, the owner, is lovely and knows everything about her products. It's a joy to shop there. I wish I could buy everything. I've seen Japanese, Korean, and Chinese so far in facial care and hair care. And BB creams! What a selection of BB creams! The staff here was very helpful too. They approach and ask every now and then to make sure potential customers aren't lost and confused (might feel awkward if you're just browsing). I bought some sunscreen here and they gave toner/emulsion samples. (I like freebies =D.)

The sales lady approached me and asked me in Chinese if I needed any help but when i told her i didn't understand she spoke to me in English. I told her i didn't need any assistance yet she kept following me around for a bit. This made me uncomfortable and it was easy to tell that I was nervous and awkward, but i know she was following me because I probably came off as some creepy shop lifter or something(I kept browsing and picking up things and I had to check my money in my bag discreetly). That's one thing, you have to know what you want to buy before entering so they can take you seriously, this goes for a lot of cosmetic stores in flushing. They have a large selection of eyeliners, bb creams, skin care products, eyelashes, powders, face masks, skin care etc. What drew me into the store was the bb creams. In the glass window display at the left side of the store, you could see all the brands of bb creams like skin79, lioele, missha etc.. They sell the REAL Skin79 hot pink triple functions bb cream for $30, which is cheaper than fashion city's price, but it definitely be cheaper to buy online. They also have many powders and compacts, I saw that they had some lioele compacts, blushes and bronzers and other asian brands as well. They have so much eyeliner! There was a whole wall/rack of it in the back right hand corner. I bought the MSH eyescream gel liner which was $20.00.I asked her if they had gel eyeliner and she recommended this one stating that she had even used it on her eyes that day. They even had Dolly wink products : eyeliners,eye-shadow palettes, eyelashes + lashes case. The Dolly wink eyeliner was $18-22 dollars which is cheaper than Belle's Beauty lab in the Queen crossings mall next to mango(which sold for $25). It's a great store with a large variety of Asian cosmetics :)

I do have to say…read morethat on my last visit a woman came in and wanted to get her nails done without an appointment. Unfortunately there were no open spots as this location is very popular. The nail technician was very apologetic and was waiting for her next client to show up. The woman then said "well your sitting there doing nothing" and the tech responded " I'm waiting for my next client who is a little late but I would be happy to schedule in on another day" With that the woman was very belligerent and left. After all of that , the owner and staff remained professional and calm. Not a word was mentioned about this nasty customer after she left. Most places would bitch about that in front of clients but the ladies didn't! I recommend this place to everyone I know! Great people who do great work!

This is for the ONLINE Perfumania and NOT the stores!…read more I bought items on 2 separate orders within a few days of each other (stupid I know). I saw that they have my perfume much cheaper on there and their website said that they are authentic..... Let me just tell you that while these may actually be authentic, there is something off with the perfumes sold on here. I checked out this website called Cosmetic Calculator where you enter in the batch number found on the bottom of a bottle of perfume and you could see when it was manufactured and how many more months of ideal use you will have of it. The bottles that I bought legally are able to be sold, but didn't have as long as a shelf life as perfumes sold at say Macy's, Nordstrom's, Bloomingdale's, etc. Department stores have to clear their shelves with newer bottles so Perfumania buys them from them at cheaper rates to resell to the public. The perfumes I bought reeked of alcohol and the scent was very, very light. If you were to go to a department store to smell a body you would swear that they were different perfumes entirely. I called up Perfumania to ask for my money back. On their website they state that there is a restocking fee. When I called they said that I wouldn't be charged this so I was happy about getting a refund in full. You will be on hold with them for awhile. I swear this place is operated out of someone's house because it is the same person who answers every time. While returning the items was easy (just had UPS pick them up), getting the return has been a lengthy process. They are the kind of company who does returns at their leisure (was told they only do returns 2x a week), and even then they aren't likely to return them to you unless you keep calling asking where the return is. I have yet to receive a refund for either order. I just called and was told one was issued yesterday and the other wasn't issued yet. Hmm this is funny considering that I tracked my returns on UPS and they were picked up at the same time and date by the same signer......... Not a legit company. Look I'm a frugal girl who likes to get a long of bang for my buck, but in the end you may have to pay more at Macy's but you won't have to go with this b.s. and you are paying more for a bottle with no problems. I ended up buying my perfume at Sephora and through Macy's. I will update this review once I do see my refunds. Otherwise the review stays as is and American Express will get a call reporting fraud.
