This is what it looks like AFTER Salinas European Auto works on an oil leak

NEVER take your BMW to this service facility. **True story** My regular BMW technician here in Salinas, Mike at Gothenberg's Finest, decided he was going to service only Volvos from now on--so this left me with no service options for my 1998 BMW 328i. My BMW, at 17 years has been meticulously maintained and cared for which is why it has lasted so long. Anyway he recommended European Auto. I needed to service my vehicle at 163,000 miles--a regular Inspection II. When I brought my vehicle in, they alerted me to an oil leak even though I have NEVER had oil spots in my garage, nor have I ever had oil engine service warning messages. In 17 years no oil drips or leaks. Anyway we decided to effect repairs for a total of $1,200.00 VERY EXPENSIVE. I decided to do the Inspection II at the end of the month since the oil leak "repair" was so pricey. When I brought my vehicle home the next morning on my garage floor there was noticeable oil leakage--so much so that I took pictures with my iPhone. Then I called them complained that I never had any oil leaks or drips until AFTER they "serviced" my vehicle. I returned to their shop, showed them the pictures I took, left my car for a day, and received no updates or phone calls re my vehicle's status. The next day when I called for details and updates they gave me a real merry-go-around of excuses, said they would have to order parts, etc. and since it was Labor Day Weekend they could not guarantee when parts would arrive nor could they guarantee they would or could fix my oil leak. Really poor customer service. They fail. Now I have an oil-leaking BMW that I can directly attribute to their poor workmanship. I will try Lugo's since they are AAA approved. Do NOT take your BMW there for service, and especially do NOT deal with Jesus Coyt. If I could rate them a 0 (zero) I would. ***And here is another item: If you go to their website and post a review, they will see it first and screen it--that's why there are only 5-Star reviews, and not reviews such as mine--bad business practice, misleading, and wrong information.

Unfortunately, last week I got an oil change at this Walmart and left with a pretty expensive repair needed on my car. I initially came in for an oil change, treatment, and fuel system service. When I left the location, my skid guard over my wheel was not reattached properly and fell down on top of my tire. I went to the store to reattach the skid guard properly or take it off if they were unable to do so he Called his manager and stated that I could go online and order the new part and they would reimburse me the following day. The tech then Proceeded to cut off chunks of my skid guards above Both front wheels. In this process, the tech also cut the wiring under my skid guard as well. When I went in the following day, the auto center managers were both initially dismissive. The manager, Francisco offered to pay the Cost of the repair in order to from making an actual claim with the store. During this process, I requested to see the film of them working on my car and they refused to allow me to see the film. Went to caliber collision to get an estimate The preliminary cost was 771. At this point, I contacted the manager to follow up and he stated that we would have to make a Claim. I'm now going back-and-forth in negotiation with the Walmart insurance company, which is an internally Run and owned insurance company. Additionally, the tech at caliber collision said that the repair could take up to three weeks. In the future, I will be going to actual mechanics, even simple things like oil changes, but I would be aware that this Walmart has negligent techs Does not have a lot of consideration.
