Peach lemonade

We stopped in for a healthy and fresh lunch after a festival with friends. We ordered the regular salads which came with A LOT of salad. If you're not as hungry, go for the small bowl option. They had so many options for toppings from fruit, to proteins, classical salad toppings. Everything looked and tasted fresh. I tried the peach lemonade and ended up getting 2 glasses of it . The staff were fast and friendly. The restaurant felt like an oasis from the heat. If you're in the area and needing a healthy option for lunch, check out this Salata. You will not be disappointed!

Salata is always a hit with me! I got a wrap with lots of vegetables and chicken. The veggies are super fresh and crisp, the pesto chicken is a favorite of mine and the dressing always adds so much flavor. The prices have significantly increased over time and one wrap with chicken is $15, which is crazy because it used to be $11-12. One of the workers was slightly rude when I asked a question, but this was the first time I've had an issue with an employee. The place is always super clean and it's nice and bright inside.

Delicious Chicken caesar wrap! I hate the prices here but I do get a good amount of wrap. the worker who helped me was Angel and he was so attentive. He saw I had been waiting a second and came right over to me. Very quick service. It seemed like I was there during a busy hour cause there were a lot of people eating. the set up was and easy in and out service though. very cozy. great for a quick lunch.

What a great healthy alternative for a meal! All of the items are fresh and a great way to get a solid meal without consuming too many calories. Salata exceeded my expectations! I was searching for a buffet style, healthy restaurant and decided to try Salata. When looking online for reviews for Salata, it perplexed me that Yelp had a lower review score as opposed to the high reviews on Google... It's only fair to review it myself and I was certainly not disappointed! Salata is not a buffet ,but rather, a cafeteria style assembly line to which you build your own salad. The customer starts by selecting one of the following meal sizes: a burrito style, a small bowl or a regular ( both bowls are actually very generous portions!) The following process are a simple four-step procedure (after you select the portion/size bowl): (1) Select your base (which lettuces you want). (2) Select your toppings (comprised of many, many options of fresh vegetables, fruits and cheeses.) (3) Select your dressing (there must be over a dozen to choose from. All are very delicious!) (4) Select your protein (meats and/or seafoods.) *At the end, you can top it off with nuts, tortillas strips, croutons or even a multigrain croissant. Once the staff have added all of the ingredients that you have selected, they toss it together with a pair of tongs so everything is well coated and well mixed together. The staff is very friendly and ensures that your eating areas and restrooms are clean and sanitized. The soda fountain, teas and lemonades area is also kept very clean as well! The overall ambiance of the restaurant has a nice fresh, fun feel to it (almost like you're at a juice bar but you're there for salads instead.) I definitely give Salata two very well deserved big thumbs up! It's a fantastic alternative to routine hot diner meals and it's not a burden on the wallet, as it's approximately only $13 per person for a generous salad and drink. I will be eating here routinely!

This particular Salata is very chintzy on the toppings when you order it online for pick up. Majority of the salad is all lettuce.

The cod fish was fresh, lightly breaded and done just right - chunky with a nice level of flakiness. In the case of these fish tacos, I'd let the pictures do the talking. The avocado tacos were made fresh. Black beans and pickled vegetables went well with this star of a dish. The hummus - jalapeno and crabcakes were mediocre. Roberto and the waitress gave excellent service. Water for refill was provided in a milk bottle which was great. Afterall, we are in this hot heat of summer. Requested seating in a booth and got seated at a booth by the windows. Leg space felt better at the booths by the windows than those by the bar. Roberto recommended other dishes I may like to try next time - cauliflower crusted pizza, local kebab, burgers etc. Glad to have discovered this restaurant that was hidden in the woods. It was also associated with owners of Hungrys whom I have patronized in years gone by at their Dairy Ashford and Rice locations. We did not sit there because it was hot. We sat indoors. It was just me and my child. Our waitress did not mention that kids (12 and under) eat free all day Mondays (and 10 am - 12 noon on weekends). I learned this from reading Google reviews after we had already ordered. After I asked, she confirmed the promotion and allowed us to add a kids meal since we had already ordered an adult entrée, which is the required condition. We ordered a kids' pizza. You can pepperoni for $1 but it's a free add on Mondays. Not gonna lie, pizza tasted off. Kid said it and I ignored her. Then I tried it and ack. We brought the rest home and stuck it in the fridge but it tasted even worse the next day. Tossed in trash. Service required frequent prompting. Like pulling teeth. I had to ask about the drink included with the kids meal. And yes Milk is an option. I also had to ask about the cookie that is supposed to come with the meal. We did not receive one. She said they had chocolate chip only as oatmeal and sugar cookies were gone. I said fine. We never got anything. So I went to the take out stand and we were told they were out of cookies. But they offered us a small brownie instead. Unfortunately however it contained nuts. For an appetizer, we ordered the cast iron spinach artichoke dip. The chip‑to‑dip ratio was not balanced. We ran out of chips way before the dip was gone. We also ordered the cast iron skirt steak (yes lots of cast irons). I requested medium rare. It arrived medium well and slightly tough however. You'd think they could easily tell this since they slice it all up before serving. It was not seasoned, but presumably that is because it is intended to be used with the chimichurri sauce provided. No salt on the tables. Overall, the experience and the food were marginal and borderline acceptable, but definitely unremarkable. Service is another story however. She was nice, just not very good at her craft.

Ordered Prickly Pear Mezcal margarita, Sierra Nevada Hazy Little Thing light IPA beer, cup of Cream of Cauliflower Soup, Caprese Panini on Focaccia bread with Herbed Fries, West Coaster Panini (Ham, Avocado, Arugula) on Ciabatta bread with Herbed Fries, and a Coffee Fudgy Brownie with Vanilla Ice Cream to go. Service was fantastic with our server (Will) being very knowledgeable and friendly. Drinks and food arrived quickly and were fantastic - the drinks were on point, the food ample in quantity and flavorful in taste. The Fudgy Brownie was divine! Well-done! As I mention above, the final tally was a bit shocking. Otherwise, a great place to hang out; planning to return to avail of the Mon/Tue $25 Wine and Bruschetta Board special.

I recently went to Postino in the Woodlands and I was looking forward to great service and great food, but it fell short. Service was nice and friendly, but it was inconsistent. I know that they were short staffed for servers/waiters but there was other staff around to help out. And sometimes when the person would come to the table and ask if everything was OK I felt like they weren't really waiting for an answer. It was like they knew that that was something they were supposed to do, but it didn't really matter if we responded. Appetizers - ordered the spicy pickle dip, and Crispy Cauliflower, which both were delicious. Pickled dip - 8/10 - wish there was more pickle Crispy Cauliflower - 9/10 - wish it was a whole head of cauliflower. There was nice balance of sweet and savory. Main - select 2 ordered a salad and panini GREEN GARDEN CHICKEN CHOP - 7/10 greens were good and chicken was good (actually more chicken in the salad than in the sandwich). The portion was more like cup size. NINE IRON 6/10 - focaccia was good, there was barely any meat - 1/2 piece of bacon and a couple of shavings of chicken. There is a lounge vibe.

1-Star Review: Absolute Disaster - Never Returning to True (False) Food Kitchen…read more We had one of the worst dining experiences imaginable at True Food Kitchen. We ordered our food, and it simply never came. After a long wait, our Brazilian waitress kept stringing us along with repeated false updates about how soon it would be ready. She left us hanging the entire time with zero accountability. What made it even more infuriating was the staffing situation. There were visibly more servers and kitchen staff than actual customers in the restaurant. Yet somehow, nothing was getting done. We watched plates of other customers' food sitting in the pass window for over 10 minutes while seven different servers casually walked right by, letting it sit there getting stale and old. Our server in particular seemed completely disinterested in doing her job--she had zero urgency or care for our table. The cavalier, neglectful attitude from the entire team felt like a systemic problem, not just one bad shift. It was as if the restaurant's "healthy, mindful" branding was just a front for pretentious, ill-mannered service that couldn't care less about actually delivering on basics like getting food to the table. We finally flagged down the manager, who at least gave us straight information: our order would still be another 10 minutes on top of the already excessive wait. At that point, we'd had enough and left without eating. This place is a nest of neglectful incompetence. Between the false promises, indifferent staff, and total disregard for customers, we will never patronize True Food Kitchen again. Save your time and money--go somewhere that actually values service.
