I've officially found my new favorite place to eat, Bellagreen! From the moment I walked in to the time I left, the staff was incredibly warm and welcoming. That kind of genuine hospitality makes a difference, and they absolutely nailed it. The food is excellent! Fresh, flavorful, and seriously impressive. I ordered the spicy fish tacos, and they were outstanding. The chipotle sauce added just the right amount of heat without overpowering the dish. As a bonus, I downloaded and registered on their app and scored a free dessert, definitely worth it. I went with the White Chocolate Bread Pudding, and OH MY GOSH ... it was next level. Not your typical bread pudding. It had more of a layered, crepe-like texture with a rich, creamy filling, drizzled in milk chocolate and topped with a strawberry compote. I could've easily eaten 10 of them. What really stood out to me was the menu variety. They offer gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegetarian options, and even have gluten-free desserts! They have several locations across Texas. I visited the Woodlands spot. Safe to say, this will be a must-stop anytime I'm in the area. read more

This place is consistently one of my go-to's. They have quite a few healthier options compared to other restaurants. I've worked my way through a good part of the menu and nothing had disappointed me. From a taste perspective - the food is flavorful. The protein empanadas are on my personal -- no matter what menu -- I order them I matter what. They always come out hot and the dipping sauce is legit. The burgers are great and so is the zucchini pasta. I'm also a fan of their soups and my son loves their pizza. The food usually comes out quickly but I've been there when they are overwhelmed. Still not a long wait. The staff are also very friendly and they have a rewards program. We started hosting our book club here every month after moving from another restaurant. The service is incredible, tonight Ruben brought us some desserts to try on the house and he always gives great service! The food is delicious with lots of variety and always fresh. They have non-GMO meals made with love, pretty much everything on the menu can be made gluten free, and the brick chicken was delicious but the White Chicken Parm takes the crown. This place is really friendly. The perfect spot for a date or a business meeting... grab a glass of wine and one of their signature plates and you're good to go. read more

I had a really disappointing experience at Bellagreen today. I was hoping to end my afternoon on a good note, but unfortunately that didn't happen. One of the employees, Ruben (the gentleman wearing a blue shirt and glasses), was very rude and came across as uninterested in helping. His attitude made the experience much worse. On the other hand, I want to recognize Alexa for her excellent customer service. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and respectful throughout my visit. She made me feel welcome, and I truly appreciate the way she treated me. I also had an issue with my food. I've eaten here before, and this time it didn't taste the same as it usually does. I wanted to speak with the kitchen manager about it, but I was told they had already left for the day. I'm hoping to come back soon and have the opportunity to speak with the kitchen manager because I'd like to understand what happened. BG does not disappoint my frequent visit here. All the wait staff is super friendly and the food always tastes fresh as they can be. If you have not tried the honey goat cheese in a salad, you're in for such a treat. This is also a great place to meet with friends and family for its laidback ambiance. While I enjoy occasional vegan/vegetarian foods, I'm never a fan of under-seasoned food. That has been the case with my experience at Bellagreen always. They sure use quality ingredients, and sure have done a lot of good to the environment but not a place I'd recommend for their food. This location looks amazing from the outside, but gives old dinner vibes on the inside. The food is served to you at the table once you place the order at the counter and get a table number. Alright a few days late but never too late for a review! There is a handful of locations around the Houston surrounding area and so far I've been to 3 locations and all 3 definitely are consistent! The tomato basil cup of soup with the chicken salad sandwich was definitely fresh and good! I'm a burger type of person so I ordered their freshly cooked burger which was cooked to a medium perfection! The brioche bun was so good and fresh and the fries were pippen hot! A place where everything fried is gluten free?! Count me in. Please note this is a made to order restaurant where you order at the front, they give you a number and you take it to your seat. We assumed this was a sit down restaurant where a waiter comes to take your order. No big deal we were just caught off guard. The inside is beautiful. Very green, brown and beautiful. There weren't a lot of people around 5p on a Sunday. I've never had ceviche before so I decided to try this. Unfortunately it was very bland and the avocado should have been cut into smaller pieces. Next, I had the white chicken parm. I wasn't sure what flavor to expect but was just excited to have tasty gf pasta. I was pleasantly surprised and the chicken was the best part. I cleared my plate. I would have indulged in the GF carrot cake if we weren't going elsewhere for desserts. My friends ordered the fig/Prosciutto pizza and fish tacos and enjoyed them. We used to love Ruggles Green and their hempandas, pizza, salads, and tacos! However, ever since they made their name transition, we've noticed their service and quality of food declining. Last night we came to pick up our take-out and waited for almost an hour. The bathroom was disgusting, at least the women's room. I wish there were some better maintenance. It's a shame for a business to fall apart after they had such a strong beginning. They also forgot one of our salads as we picked up our order too, after waiting for an hour. For the food, you typically go to a healthy-eatery place to feel light, right? Well, the hempandas were drenched in oil that was so obviously not olive oil (I know my oils because my family are fanatics). Went here on a lunch by myself after my morning workout and it's such a nice place. I have been wanting to try it as I drive by it often. Definitely a great healthy their awesome place. You can tell they were a bit busy from the lunch catering but the staff behind the counter was still very attentive. You place your order first then you're given a number and people will serve your food to you. I ordered their vegetarian burger with a side of tomato basil soup and it was so delicious. Usually vegan patties are very hit or miss and this one was very delicious. Their tomato basil soup was awesome as well. The flaky crust made it all the more better. So we've never physically been inside because we've made several orders via UberEats over the past 3 years. I can't speak for the service or ambiance of the restaurant. I will however say this is one of our go to places when we want a delivery! Tasty even after a ride in the car, good portions, and decently priced. We tried burgers, wraps, salads, salmon, and even the carrot cake (also a go to). Always ask for the sauce on the side for the carrot cake though as we think it makes the cake soggy and way to sweet. My husband and I stopped in today for lunch after last dining here nine months ago. We absolutely loved the atmosphere then, and it was just as good today. Their menu accommodates any and every diet/lifestyle. I have a gluten intolerance, so my dining options are fairly limited, but we had zero issues here. I was thrilled they were able to make the Caesar wrap GF and decided to order that with fries. My husband had the white chicken parm and found it to be incredible. Our food was impeccable, and the service was excellent. They even have a card to indicate your meal was prepared gluten free. I informed the cashier of my intolerance, and she said they would do their best to avoid cross-contamination. If you come after 5, they have some heartier fish dishes that look amazing. Went here today with my father-in-law and sister-in-law who were in town. Wanted to share with them my favorite Gluten Free restaurant here in Houston. The food today was possibly the most disgusting and disappointing food I have ever seen served. They ordered a cheese pizza with black olives, the Home Slice (more like the greasy slice), a side of sweet potato fries, and I ordered the empanadas with my own sweet potato fries. My sister-in-laws cheese pizza with olives was the saddest pizza ever. There were legit like three olives on the pizza all mixed colors ripe and unripe. She couldn't finish it and she LOVES pizza. Grease Galore. My boyfriend and father in law shared the Home Slice. Dripping grease left and right and the cheese all fell off. Gross stuff. I was glad I was gluten free so I didn't have to eat that garbage. My empanadas were good and the fries were fine. They didn't give me my extra garlic sauce I requested but I didn't want to make it a big deal. The experience was already bad enough. Our waiter was also being pedantic and corrected my boyfriend when he requested the freezing restaurant air be "turned down." The waiter said, "Don't you mean turned up?" He wasn't very friendly and only checked on us once. Food was $50 for all. Overpriced, freezing cold environment, rude staff, and horrible food. I expected better. No one was there and now I know why. We all feel sick and coated in grease now. read more
