I have been wanting to try best crime for the longest. I always forget about them well today they were having a special Bogo burgers and I decided to stop in to give them a try so glad I did. Service was absolutely amazing. I thought I would have a long wait to get my food, but it came out hot fresh in no time the cashier was very helpful in helping me to decide on what it was that I wanted for the day. You can either eat inside, grab to go, and even better they have a drive through. There is so much to choose from food smells absolutely amazing and tastes really good. Don't think you're gonna get a skimpy burger from this place. It's anything but that I will definitely be back.

Best burgers and fries in the area, hands down. This was my first time trying beck's prime and it did not disappoint. I've been in the woodlands for a year and this is probably the best burger place I've tried. It's a cute little burger hut which I appreciate, and the staff is super friendly. I got the bills burger which was absolutely awesome, along with their fresh cut fries, both reg and Parmesan. I absolutely will be back!

Truffle fries

First of all- it feels like there is no HVAC system in this place. As soon as you walk in the door, you are hit with the heat from outside. Heat aside, I've been wanting to try this place for a while. I keep hearing about these Parmesan French fries. We order the filet with the parm fries and the rib eye with the loaded bake potato. Hoping to cool off and maybe be able to ignore the heat, we order Chardonnay and a sweet tea. Nope- the heat factor continues to bother even after a glass of wine. The food came out, I was excited by the HUGE basket of parm fries. To their credit, Beck's has a hit on their hands with this menu item. Perfectly cooked with just the right amount of Parmesan. The filet, however, left much to be desired. Dry and unflavored- big time miss. The ribeye tasted frozen and like a box steak. Terrible food- would NOT recommend to anyone in the area.

This was our first time visiting this place after seeing it on IG. It did not disappoint. Our cashier, Nayah was friendly and helpful. The food was DELISH!! We ordered the Bill's burger with truffle fries and Bacon cheeseburger with regular fries. The atmosphere was chill and laid back. We will definitely come back.

This sleepy business by the pond had surprisingly banging burgers! We got the shroom burger and Bill's burger with fries, and were more than satisfied with the quality and portion. The service was fast too. As is standard for burger joints, it left us feeling a bit oily. We ended up sitting outside because the interior air was thick with let's say, "griddle air." Definitely a hair wash day after that, but the food was solid.

We've been in The Woodlands for over 3 years now and I had no clue that there was a Becks here! I just happened to drive by it today! I had the cheeseburger and my son had the bacon cheeseburger. It was just as I remembered it! SO GOOD!! Everything tasted so fresh. We will be back!

Bills Burger and fry's

Was an amazing experience. Was my first time, after hearing a lot of buzz from family and then seen it on a top 5 burger places on social media. I had the Bills burger. It was really amazing and all the flavors just bust in your mouth. I was greeted by a nice redheaded lady, who really informed me about what makes becks special and recommended the burger to me. Can't say enough good things about the food. Now my only criticism is the queso is not very good, glad I got a cup of it on the side or it would have ruined my fry's. Also the ranch could use some improvements, it's either bottled or made poorly. has a very strong vinegary twang to it.

I REALLY wanted to love this place...because I LOVE hamburgers, but I was underwhelmed. The size of the burger was great, but I didn't like the taste of it. It tasted like a frozen patty with salt and pepper. To some, this might have been a great burger, but it wasn't for me. I like more of a seasoned homemade type patty. The fries and side of ranch were great! The service was quick and they were very nice. I went through the drive through so I didn't go inside to see the ambiance.

Becks makes the best burger in H Town! I love the flavor their grill imparts, and the shakes are great as well.

Somehow, someway, it seems to never work out for me. But it finally happened and I'm mad at myself that it took so long. Probably 2+ years ago a friend and I were at a local sub shop in Sugar Land, and he mentioned how Blimpie was always his favorite. I couldn't even remember if I'd ever been to a Blimpie, but I saw that there happened to be one, so I bookmarked it on that day, and it haunted me ever since. Blimpie cares not about decor or vibes, but they do make an absolutely incredible sandwich. The menu is unique, in that each sandwich is basically just one ingredient different than the sandwich above it. I opted for the Blimpie Best Deluxe on parmesan bre The bread was pillowy soft. The flavor of the sandwich was absolute perfection. It somehow got better each bite. I could not believe how much I liked it and how sad I was when it was over. It will probably torment me indefinitely that I didn't order the larger sandwich. I will prevail. And I will visit again. My question though, is very simply: why did Blimpie almost completely go away? It's light years better than Subway.

I used to eat it daily back when a full meal was $4.99, and I've even had Subway in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. So yes, I have a calibrated palate for mass‑market sandwiches. They've got a handful of subs on special, but for a couple bucks more I went with my usual Italian--here called the "Italiano"--on Cheddar Jalapeño bread. And of course I did the footlong because size does matter. I asked for it toasted, only to discover they use a panini press, which flattens the bread like a stress test. Not my favorite. Ironically, I used to love Blimpie's oven‑style toast before Subway even offered it. They do have a separate oven for melting cheese, and that part I absolutely recommend. The sandwich itself was very good and definitely in Subway territory. For $1.29 you can grab a self‑serve cookie--critical, because I can select the front‑row cookie with the maximum chip‑to‑dough ratio. Fresh daily, solid flavor, very Subway‑adjacent. But I still prefer Subway's footlong cookie. It's a personality trait at this point. Staff was extremely friendly. I'm pretty sure the owner was working the counter, unless a gentleman of his seniority just enjoys staying busy or needs the cash, which is increasingly common these days. Honestly, that personal touch is probably what gives this place an edge over Subway. Pepsi products here. Acceptable, but I'm a Coke person. Blimpie is becoming an endangered species, even though it predates Subway by a year. But overall, I still think Subway has the stronger product.

Everyone was friendly, the service was attentive, and our food came out quickly. I also really loved the vibe inside the deli. Unfortunately, it wasn't my favorite, but I'll admit I'm pretty picky about chocolate cake. I make a point of ordering it at every restaurant that offers it just to see how theirs compares. This one was a little too sweet for my taste, and the icing wasn't really my style. Overall, we had a great experience. I'd definitely come back for the sandwiches, friendly service, and cool atmosphere!

I wanted to dine in but decided to get my food to go out of respect of their 8 pm closing hour. I didn't look at what I ordered last time, so I asked for a recommendation. He suggested The Stallone and The Lucky. I ordered, then checked my previous order on Yelp while I waited. Same thing. OMG. I wanted to try something new too. Oh well. Then, while waiting, I had a thought: Wouldn't it be weird if they gave me the wrong order again, just like last time? Well... guess what. Almost. But flipped. They gave my order to another guy. ‍ When he told them, I watched them frantically take my food out of his bag and put it into mine. It was almost closing time, and the guy didn't look like he had any communicable diseases, so I guess there's that plus. But seriously, what are the odds? There were like five guys working back there packing orders it looked like. How does this keep happening? And one of the kids bagging the takeout orders had dark sunglasses on. At 8 PM. Dude, unless it's some medical condition, take the sunglasses off or get the order right. When I got home, the meatball sandwich was, of course, cold--which I expected since I live about 20 minutes away. I'd strongly recommend eating it there while it's hot because it's not nearly as good cold. Kinda mid The Stallone I ordered not warmed up. So it was okay. So, yeah, unfortunately, my second visit came with another wrong-order adventure. At this point, I'm starting to wonder if getting someone else's food is just part of the experience here.

Got the #13 Italian on their famous rosemary bread. They don't really toast here but they can grill if you want. Takes about 4-5 minutes and they'll need to add Mayo to get a decent sear. I didn't bother because no toaster obviously means they don't really do that. But it's nice that they'll accommodate if you want a grilled bun. They don't have many toppings. Just lettuce tomatoes and onions. I got my 6" "Mike's Way" which includes all of these plus olive oil and some spices (probably oregano and basil but I'm not sure). Good location for an easy pop but traffic can get congested in this part of Sawdust at times. Staff was nice which always makes for a positive experience. The owner who answered the phone told me that actually the employees of one of the companies in the area reserved like the whole cow. I think he said 64 lbs or something like that. Savages. But he did say they could save a piece for us if I told him when I wanted to come in. I asked him for a good time to come. He said usually they're done cooking it by 12:30 pm and then it needs time to cool down. So he suggested mid-afternoon like around 2 pm. Ok. Well what the heck. A late lunch it is then. I've always been a whore for a good cut of meat. When we got there I told the host/waiter that we had a reservation and he just replied ok and didn't bother asking our name or checking us off a list or anything. Understandable I suppose since the place was empty. When we got the menus my first observation was that a number of the prices were higher by several dollars than as listed on their website, including the prime rib. The waiter replied it's just a few bucks, and then noted it's actually been like that for a few months. When I talked to the owner later he said they're waiting for the lady who handles their website to make the update. I've posted pics of their current in store menu so you can know the current prices. I think the waiter was new. Because he didn't ask how we wanted our prime rib cooked (I had to ask him later if we have a choice). Also when I asked for more horseradish (it doesn't come with the prime rib automatically) he took my plastic thimble looking cup and just refilled it, which seemed a bit unsanitary and odd. Also I had to ask for ketchup for the onion rings. When I was signing the bill he just hovered and immediately took it. It just felt weird. I dunno. Maybe his shift was ending or something. I know this sounds weird to comment on but the water tasted off. It's the first time I've ever said that. But it just tasted weird. I couldn't put my finger on it. Maybe like it already had some lemon in it? Yet there was a lemon slice on the rim of the glass. So I'm not sure. Anyway onto the prime rib. I thought it was ok. My kid absolutely loves prime rib and that's the real reason we came. But she just didn't like it here. However it is one of their most popular dishes and the way they sell out obviously folks in the area are ga ga for it. So definitely come give it a try for yourself. It comes 2 sides but not a baked potato which is $5 extra. I love baked potatoes but the extra cost made me not want to get it. The waiter said the mashed potatoes do not come with gravy but actually the sauce that comes with the prime rib is pretty thick and could easily be used for this. I thought the cream spinach was good as well as the fries and onion rings. Note the QR codes on the bill didn't work to pay. I'm not sure why. I think the waiter said something was wrong with their computers. When we asked for a to go box the lid on my gravy container didn't securely close. The waiter said that actually all of the containers have that problem. Yikes. Well just be careful you don't spill it in your car. I guess the waiter told the owner my kid didn't like the prime rib and when we were boxing it up the owner came to our table and was apologetic and super nice about it and offered to comp her plate. Now that's old school class. I've been to some of these newer places where they couldn't give a crap. But the owner here actually cares that people have a good time. So kudos to him. Their menu is extensive. And they have something for everyone. They also have a kids menu with reasonable prices. The monte cristo and pork knuckle were catching my eye. Maybe another day.
