Chicken Teriyaki Bowl w/ Side White Rice and Chicken Teriyaki Bowl w/ noodles

Love the food and service, I don't love the price. Could use a little less cabbage. Seating is a bit crowded.

Food is awesome and friendly service!!! It's not cheap but keep in mind that the regular bowl is enough food for two people. You must try this place.

The place was not very clean. Which should have been the first sign not to eat there. They had several young men cooking. Some wearing gloves some not. When my food came out it had a bug with it. I let the young man know and he apologized and wiped it up. I told him I could not eat my food after seeing the big. He offered to cook my husband and I another dish, but if there was one bug I'm sure their would be more. We told him we were leaving. I mentioned to my husband I wanted a refund. We hadn't even touched our food. The poor kid didn't know what to do. They need some older people working in there to know how to handle situations like this. Needless to say I won't be back. They need to get an exterminator out to spray the place down and we threw money away. We went a few doors down and paid for another meal.

Heard about this place for a while so when the opportunity came up to drop by, I took it. The interior is set up to mimic a fast food restaurant and quality is at that level. I ordered the steak teriyaki bowl with yakisoba noodles which triggered an up charge for the noodles. While there is an impressive array of carb possibilities listed and promoted by the staff, the addition of an up charge for some is not part of the spiel though listed in the small print at the bottom of the sign. It should be more transparent. That aside, what arrived at my table didn't match the price. The regular bowl is somewhat small but what really threw me was the mealy consistency of the meat and noodles. It is as if the meat had been sitting for a while in the sauce and then was reheated for my meal, leaving it with a soft grit that transferred to the noodles.

    Junior Spicy Chicken Bowl Combo

First time trying Teriyaki Madness. Was initially supposed to go shopping at HomeGoods, but was feeling hangry and made a pit stop here. My partner and I were greeted when we walked in. I informed the cashier it was our first time here and if they didn't mind walking us through the process. The cashier was very friendly and walked us through the process of ordering. I ordered the junior bowl combo with spicy chicken and yakisoba noodles. The combo comes with an egg roll and a drink (which are all Pepsi products). The chicken, noodles, vegetables, and egg roll were very delicious! My partner ordered the large bowl combo with spicy chicken, steak teriyaki, yakisoba noodles, and vegetables. This is the two protein option. They also offer disposable wooden chopsticks next to the fountain drinks. Very satisfied for a first timer

Glad they don't use msg Food is pretty good and fresh. My greeter had mask half way on (not on nose) and seemed to hate her job. Annoyed that I was asking questions although it was my first time here. There are several Acid tests for restaurants. If owner/managers are working on their laptops in the seating areas during peak times (12:00-12:30), the employees will not respect you and/or you are over staffed. Especially bad when the place is busy. Help wanted ad out front is number two Annnnnnd a roach literally came into my freaking table while eating!!!! See picture. It was a four star - now a two!

Lettuce on ground tofu next to the cooked chicken

The employees are constantly smoking weed in the back or in the lobby and it so obvious, the raw meat is either directly next to the vegetables or next to the cooked teriyaki chicken that everybody eats, if their is not enough space to store something they just put it on the ground. Place will get you sick lol

Ordered in store for 2 bowls. Took over 45 minutes with about 10 other customers ordering and receiving their order ahead of time.

The dumplings appetizer was fantastic, perfect crunch and texture and the filling paired well with the sauce. The beef with broccoli was also really good, the beef was super tender and the sauce was tasty. I do wish it came with more sweet and sour chicken, but it comes as a side so that's not a criticism, you could literally order its own plate. My wife and I shared this combo and between this and the dumplings it was almost too much. The Thai red curry was spicier than I expected, so if you like spicy this one for you! Good flavor and super saucy. The tofu with vegetables was pretty good, I wish the sauce had more flavor, but I'm happy to be generous with the provided condiments. I didn't try the spring rolls but my kids did, they were cooked perfectly with a nice crunch. Only criticism is the atmosphere and seating, it's a small place so it's definitely not a deal killer, but it's an amazing quick lunch spot!

We came here as a family on a Sunday after church. It was quite busy during lunch, but our waiter (Dan B.) was super gracious & attentive. The manger also stopped by our table to check on us (and gave us a postcard to checkout their other business - Tokyouth Arcade). Welcoming & friendly staff. We did the "standard" AYCE, which is about $40 per person (kids 4 and under are free). There's also a premium AYCE upgrade (for $20/pp more), but we didn't want to go in over heads on the first visit. Everything we ordered was phenomenal! Soups, appetizers, grilled items, and sushi - - they don't skimp on quality & freshness. Wonderful first impression. *My biggest recommendation: Don't sleep on the ramen!!! Wow! The bowl of pork tonkatsu I ordered as a starter might have been my favorite part of the meal... Perfectly cooked noodles and a jammy egg in rich, garlicky broth. We will ABSOLUTELY be back (and probably check out the premium choices next time)! Great service and a delicious food. Loved our experience at EMA.

I genuinely wanted to give this place five stars, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing overall. When we first arrived, there was nobody at the front to greet or seat us, and we waited several minutes before anyone acknowledged us. Service started off decent enough, but once our food arrived, it felt like we were completely forgotten. Nobody checked on our table afterward, we never received water refills, and our server was essentially unavailable for the rest of the meal. We were also seated next to an extremely loud party that was yelling throughout dinner. We wanted to request another table because it was disrupting the experience, but our server never returned to our section, so we never had the opportunity to ask. For a restaurant that presents itself as high caliber, I was surprised that management allowed such a disruptive atmosphere to continue. As for the food, the BBQ Pork Buns and Siu Mai were both very good. The award-winning Beef Rendang was easily the highlight of the meal and the best dish we ordered. Unfortunately, the Mee Goreng and Malaysian Fried Rice were major disappointments. Both dishes had an unpleasant smell and lacked flavor or seasoning, making them very unappetizing. Another issue was finding a bug on our table during dinner. I understand things can happen, but combined with everything else, it added to an already frustrating experience. We even wanted additional napkins, but again, our server never came back to check on us. Eventually, we became so frustrated waiting for service that we got up and paid the bill ourselves. Ironically, that was the moment our server finally reappeared. To make matters worse, gratuity appeared to already be added to the bill, which honestly did not feel deserved given the level of service we received. Overall, the BBQ Pork Buns and Beef Rendang were the only parts of the experience that saved the meal for us. It's disappointing because the restaurant itself is beautifully designed and has a great ambiance, which made us even more excited to try it. Unfortunately, the poor service and inconsistent food quality overshadowed what could have been a much better dining experience.
