This is hands down the best place I have eaten lunch in a while! The way I would describe it is "a subway but for salad." You go down the line and pick how to customize your salad: toppings, protein, types of lettuce, you name it! There are over 50 toppings and 8 proteins available! The prices are amazing! Most salad places like this weigh your salad by the pound and rip you off. This place is the opposite. Different sizes are a solid rate with unlimited toppings. One croissant is included, and they taste amazing! The salad bowls are very large! What a great deal! I did not try the homemade tea and lemonade but I hope to next time I visit! The regular size is massive, so I'll be ordering a small next time. And there will be a next time because their selection and variety is quite good. What stood out was the smoked turkey that I chose for my protein as the smokiness really came through and had a great flavor and were big meaty chunks. The only ingredient disappointments were fresh (i.e., much hotter), instead of pickled jalapenos so I went with banana peppers instead. The dressings weren't quite a varied as other place (e.g., no peppercorn or bleu cheese). And speaking of bleu cheese, there's lacked the sharpness you'd expect. All the veggies were fresh and many were in big cuts (e.g., carrots were like wide, fat coins). I also liked the unique lemonade flavors of peach and prickleberry. Seating was comfortable, but the interior is very modern with harsh lines and hard surfaces so there's no sound treatment and, although clean looking doesn't make for a cozy or welcoming setting. They have outdoor seating that we would have taken advantage of, but the pollen was heavy today and had coated all the chairs and tables. The staff and were all friendly and responsive so the line moved quickly. The price is average with our 2 salads and drinks being $32. read more

Love being able to customize a salad for our tastes. Especially when the ingredients were all fresh and tasty. Too bad that their distributor didn't have them stocked up with proteins and we had to "settle" from what little there was left. Also, with the current inflation and forced higher wages we will probably take them off our go to list. My food actually taste good and fresh, and their "bread" options are all tasty as well. I've had the pleasure of visiting many fast casual salad shops around the country, so those are my point of comparison. Given it's just an unlimited toppings bar, I struggled to find how it's different from a grocery store salad bar to a degree? Pros: fresh good bread unlimited toppings, i.e. you can walk away with a lot of food nice employees Cons: no "house" salad options (i.e. cobb, southwest, etc.) incredible hulk color scheme fake silver plastic silverware looks cheap No menu Feedback: you need 5 or 6 salad combos (a greek one, a southwest one, a cobb, etc.) for people to choose from, or they can do a build your own. Not only does this speed up the operation, but people expect the salad experts to tell them what goes good together. I made the mistake of loading all these savory ingredients in my bowl, so I was disappointed to find out later that they had a bunch of sweet toppings too. Then figuring out what dressing would go best with my mix of ingredients was stressful. I'd love to walk in next time and see that you have done the homework to suggest which ingredients and dressings would go together to make a good salad. read more

I can't believe I've never noticed this place before now. My son and I went for an early lunch and it was delicious and ridiculously cheap too! We got an $8 salad to share and there was plenty for the two of us. The ingredients are fresh and they have several flavor options of tea and lemonade. The employees were helpful and kind also. Went there only because it was free during their grand opening. It was very busy around 430. That bring said, the employees were working as fast as they could to accommodate the line. Chose the wrap option. Omg!!! Damn thing was the size of a baby torpedo and just as dense! It WAS DELICIOUS. even more because it was free! Only downside was it was a bit pricey. I typically go to the Salata location near my job in Atlantic Station. I've never been disappointed there. The East Cobb location has equally fresh food, equally friendly folks working there but with one unwelcome addition. I've only been to the East Cobb location twice, and both times there was hair in the food. While I saw the hair before eating it, my friend wasnt so fortunate and had to pull it out of her mouth as she felt the discomfort of it partially going down her throat. The first time it happened, I figured that could happen to anyone, but it wasn't in my bowl, it was in my friend's bowl. In fact I told my friend it was probably her hair. However when I went the second time and found a hair in my salad (I was with a different friend), I knew it wasn't a coincidence. It is merely evidence of some unhygienic practice despite the fact that they have something covering their hair and gloves. We dined in both times and both times the hair was not on the top of the salad but deep within the salad, wrapped around the fork. . Absolutely disgusting. Very excited to see that this place has made its way to Atlanta. I've been a few times in Houston and always look forward to going. This location still has its nice clean look. I love all the options for creating your salad. I chose the salata mix mixed with romaine. They had sooo many toppings and they all seemed fresh. They also had fresh fruit which was a plus for me. Not sure if i missed that in Houston but i never noticed it. I also got the lime vingarette dressing... I'm sure i spelled that wrong. They have so many toppings for any type of salad creation you could possibly think of. Now at the end, they are going to ask you if you want a roll... SAY YES!!! Came in for the first time and the process is very simple. They have a huge selection of toppings. If it's your first time, I'd advise going online to view their selection or else you might find yourself nervous sweating trying to figure out what toppings might go well together while you're holding up the line. I chose romaine with strawberries, oranges, cucumbers, edamame, pumpkin seeds, and their fat free mango vinegarette. Not sure if there wasn't enough dressing or if the dressing actually had no flavor but my salad tasted like water. I had to go home and add my own dressing to it. Other than that, the only other issue I had was I felt like they could've cut the romaine and cucumbers into smaller pieces. Overall, a good experience. I drove 45 mins to get here! I was so excited to go! I had just finished working out! I arrived at 6:15. They close at 9. Two workers there, no one in line and two families in the restaurant. I wasn't greeted (one worker was working on an order the other was talking). After about 3 mins the worker who was working on an order said Hi, we will be right with you. The other worker finally came over she was talking on her headset carrying on a conversation with someone else. I began my order. She snapped at me and told me to speak up I wasn't loud enough.... Actually I was she was just talking and not paying attention. She seemed annoyed and didn't want to make my salad. Many things needed to be replaced. Out of many things at 6:15 like bacon and you don't close until 9...... The young man was able to tell I was irritated and asked if I was ok? I said thank you, I'm fine. My salad turned out good. Today was my second trip to Salata. First trip, a couple of weeks ago was with a friend, today with my hubby. Everything looked very clean and maintained. Price was reasonable. Both visits were salads only of consistently good, huge, great choice of fresh, salad ingredients. Had salmon added on first trip, no protein today. Had the smaller salad both times - guess different people have various definitions of small. My small was all I could eat. And, my husband says one day I'll turn into a rabbit. I love my salads! Start with a small or a large bowl - pick your lettuce - and then it is topping after topping (all included), choose your dressing (sample sizes available). Proteins can be added (small add on ), with tasty samples as well, pick a beverage and table. Went today for first time and it was delicious! The larger size salad is huge, you can add any toppings you want at no extra charge. There is a big selection of toppings. If you want to add protein they have different types of chicken, salmon, shrimp, and crab for an extra fee. Everything was fresh. I had a cup of the tomato soup and it was good as well. I love Salata but here lately, ordering on the website or app, They will always forget someone's order or mess up the order, and when calling to ask to speak to the manager, the girl that was answering the phone hangs up. When you try to call back, she picks up and hangs up. I wish I could do that to our patients, I would be fired. We had to call from a different number to speak to the manager. The order took over two hours for them to try to deliver it. We ended up having to pick it up after work. read more
