A place close to my apartment where I can order a quick meal that is healthy? Yes please. A salad bar where 100 other people aren't touching the tongs and food that I'll be using as well? Hell yes please. This is a new favorite for me. They have a great selection of items to choose from and I usually end up putting so much on that my salad lasts for two meals. And if I didn't make it clear before, I LOVE the fact that the food is nicely protected behind that glass from the customers, which gives the food a much more clean feel. read more

Salata is great. My first time there I had the mixed greens with my favorite toppings, and they do have all the toppings plus grilled salmon which was freshly prepared. There full portions are enough for two people or two servings which is great for the price. Healthy eating is "in" full blast and Salata is a definite favorite. Can't wait to try the scrimp wrap!!! read more

I am a person who does not eat salad, but I start to fall in love with salad after I tried Salata. This place is amazing. I really like the way that they serve the food. I get to choose what to put into my salad and their dressing is so good! Asian BBQ chicken is a great meat selection. People are very nice. It usually gets crowded during lunch time on weekdays. Try to go like 11am. The line is much shorter. read more

Don't get me wrong, I love Salata. I love the concept, the fresh ingredients and the range of choices, but my experience at this location was poor. I went in during lunch time and got a small bowl of salad with chicken, but the girl put literally 4 cubes of chicken. I counted. Even when we got to the counter, the girl at the counter couldn't see the meat so she asked if it was vegetarian! Anyway, when I brought the salad to the table and started working on it, I only saw 4 pieces of chicken. I have been to Salata before and other locations are very generous with their portions. Needless to say, I will go to another location for salad. If they are franchised, then the owner needs to seriously improve quality. Will not be going to this location again. read more

Went in with a free salad coupon worth upto $12. I added meat and artichokes. The lady said the artichokes doesn't come with the salad. So what...you just put the artichoke in my salad. How is that not part of the salad. I went to get my mom a salad since she had knee surgery and doesn't leave the house only for doctors appointments. So they said I needed to pay for the salad. I told her the coupon doesn't say one per person. So I should get it...she said you need it signed by a manager and a bunch of other excuses. She asked me where I got it from. I told her a friend gave it. I don't know how that has anything to do with the coupon. The entire staff was arrogant. The lady saw me holding the card and she was speaking in Spanish to the other ladies that I had another coupon. Don't think I didn't notice that petty nonsense. I'm not deaf. Won't be going back to this location. They don't even put enough dressing. I went back to ask for more and the other lady asked does she have to pay, again in Spanish not English. I felt like they were doing me a favor eating at their location. I don't want to be treated like I am some free loader. I came in with a coupon that was from Salatas and it had their location listed. They gave me the run around. I told her ok...so what. She looked at me, I said fine...I won't get it and walked away. I am DOING YOU A FAVOR. I am the customer and I wouldn't try to get something free without reading the small print. I have worked in retail in college so I know how to treat a customer with common courtesy. Now you can throw out the salad...I'm sure that is how the company wants their money to go down the drain. And I always goto the location in the West chase area on my lunch time with my coworkers and vendors. Horrible customer service. Be sure I'll be telling all my friends and family to avoid this location. read more

It's my second time at this chain, but first time at this location. It was clean looking and bright, not a ton of seating, but the place is on the med/small size. I love the concept! A salad bar, without the nasty. It's not self serve so that keeps their costs down I'm sure. You basically choose your greens type, then your order moves down the row, while you choose all types of toppings. At the end, you have the options of adding soup on the side and a bread product (crutons or other bread) and a drink selection. All in all, it's rather on the expensive side for a salad, but the food is well sized and worth it due to the toppings. This can be a pretty healthy option if you go easy on the high calorie toppings....one calorie trap Is all the dressing.....I just choose the balsamic vinegar no oil, and I'm good to go and have saved myself about 200 to 300 calories!! Good luck and good eating! read more

I don't think a $12 salad is probably doable for lunch everyday, but, I'm certainly considering it! If you are in the mood for salad, Salata MUST be your stop! I ordered for pick up nline, which was super easy, and was immediately greeted when I walked in. Everyone was friendly and I was taken care of in less than a minute! There was not a single piece of wilted lettuce or grisly chicken, every single ingredient was of maximum freshness! Grilled chicken was yummy and the ranch dressing has a lovely dill flavor and was amazing! will definitely be back!! read more

Salata is my go-to place for lunch at least twice a week. They have recently added turkey as a meat option and while I appreciate the change, the turkey isn't very tasteful (maybe that's the point - it is rabbit food, right?). The herb vinaigrette is my favorite dressing and from all of the toppings you could create just about any type of salad. They even have some gluten-free options. This place is slammed by 11:45am during the work week, so I usually order my salad online and just swing in to pick it up. read more

Raspberry tea is my favorite. Just the right amount of sweetness and it goes well with my salad with pesto chicken ($3 extra). The "regular" size salad is very filling as a complete meal. Watching my weight, I usually skip the bread though it looks good! I recommend the romaine only lettuce choice. Has always been fresh. Music is super interesting here. Heard reggae, flamenco and pop! read more

I like to come here for lunch about once or twice a month when I feel like being healthy. It's right off of 110 in a small strip center with plenty of parking. They have a huge selection of salads or wraps for you to choose from (dressing, toppings, nuts, fruits, etc..), and they create them for you without everyone having to touch the tongs and creating a mess. Everything is fresh from the lettuce to the croutons. They even toss the salad at the end to ensure that the dressing is evenly distributed! It's a huge plus for me since I can't seem to do that on my own. However, it's a bit pricey - $10 for a bowl of salad or a wrap, but surprisingly enough it's filling in a good way. I've been to other salad places like Sweet Tomatoes but find that their selection is limited and not as fresh since they have a bigger menu. Since Salata specializes only in salads and wraps, they gotta get it right every time to be successful. Lunch time can be pretty busy. I usually try to get there before 11:30 to ensure that the line is short and there is a table to sit. Otherwise, you may have a hard time finding a table. read more

Great to take clients out around the Energy Cooridor area. Long line for lunch but fast, great salads, fresh and healthy.

So worth it to try. First tome eating there ever tonight and it's awesome. Salads just the way you want them. Everyone was super nice.

Okay, this place is great! I have been to 2 locations and one was better than the other, however the service at both locations is horrible. They smile but seem irritated and they seemed to not know how to handle multiple people. However, if your deciding to have a good salad for lunch or dinner, its a good choice. Many options and is very good for the price. read more

I took my coworker here as I always loved the food at Salata. This one didn't disappoint as the salad options were plentiful and FRESH! Everything was delicious, the place was clean and well maintained, and the service was efficient for lunch. Outstanding! read more

The food is always excellent but I tried ordering online for the first time and they did mess up the order and forgot an add on item. I went and left feedback and then received an email shortly after. I received the best customer service and Jaime Ramsey made my day by reaching out to me by phone and by email. They really cared when I didn't expect to hear back from anyone. I will still continue to go to Salata as they do take care of their customers on top of great food. I feel they will only get better with their online service going forward since they listen to their clients! Thank you for the great experience. read more

Clean, good salads. Everything tasted fresh and the serving size was great. Bread was really good. Music is kinda weird. Overall, I had a great experience. I plan on coming back again soon. read more

Overly generous with the greens and dressing, but you must use a microscope to find anything else in your salad. The teaspoons they use for the toppings is ridiculous. Nice concept. Poor execution. read more

I found this restaurant ok. A little pricey I felt, but the fresh salad served fast was good for simple lunch. I first tried a salad wrap and it was confusing what to choose, but it tasted all right. Parking was a little congested, but no big trouble at all. read more

Tired of burgers, Mexican or chicken strips? Want something healthy and tasty ? This is the place for you. Salad galore. Every ingredient you can imagine and then some. Staff at this store was friendly and patient. read more

I usually frequent this location often, because it's on my way home but, I don't think I will anymore . Unless, something is done about their employee, Cameron. Cameron is extremely rude. She didn't want serve me. She made a comment saying "I want to work at one those restaurants were you can say whatever the f*** you want to the customers." The manager Caterra, I believe is her name did good job reprimanding her then. But, soon after serving me Caterra had to rush back to the end of the serving line because Cameron was causing a huge scene with another group of customers. Her attitude is just horrible! read more

I love the food and convenience at Salata and have never had a problem at any other location. However the manager on duty, Leni, at this particular location was less than helpful. The customer in front of me was having an issue with his bread she took my piece to give to him. I then asked if it was mine, simply out of curiosity and she snapped at me and told me it was in fact mine but I did NOT need to worry about it. I obviously would not have been upset about a simple slice of bread but her overwhelming rude attitude was simply unacceptable and unbecoming of someone in charge. read more

awesome if you're in the mood for a salad. imo it beats the whole foods/central market salad bars, stuff is always fresh.

Love it. For $8, I get a delicious salad with TONS of different toppings. Everything is so fresh and vibrant. Almost all the toppings are included in the price except for specialty items like avocado. But it does include nuts, fruits, dried fruits, sesame sticks, etc... soooo many things! =D Oh and you get a piece of delicious bread too. You can always add in a protein for $2 more, but I always feel stuffed with just the veggies alone. read more

Went here for the first time today. I was really impressed! The line was long, but moved quickly. We had our salads in less than 10 minutes. I was amazed by the many items they had to choose from for your salad and by the time I was finished, I ended up with one of the best salads I've ever eaten. Every bite had a different taste to it because every bite was a little different from the last. The ingredients were all fresh and tasty. I had 3 kinds of greens, bean sprouts, sun dried tomatoes, celery, broccoli, green and black olives, alfalfa sprouts, avocado, chicken, bacon, 2 cheeses, artichoke hearts, and more things that I can't remember and it was all good. Right now I'm trying to avoid carbs so this would be a place I could eat every other day. I'd just make different salads with the many choices you have to put in your bowl. But I have to admit, if I weren't watching what I eat, I'd probably only eat here once or twice a month. Soups, salads and wraps are the only menu items and I'd prefer places with more options when I'm not dieting. I was disappointed that they only offer one cup size for drinks and it was rather small. I had to get up to refill my drink 3 times. They also offer only plastic forks and spoons. Since I didn't have a knife, I tried to cut an artichoke heart with the side of my fork. The fork broke off in my salad. They either need to use metal utensils or add plastic knives to the mix. read more

I am definitely a Fan. Never thought I would actually go to a Salad place, like it and go back there again and again. The Falafel wasn't good thought...very dry and tasteless. he salad itself is filling so didn't try other options like Tofu. Only vegetarian soup they have is Tomato soup...which is just average. read more

I had a roach in my salad and got my money back grosss!!!! The staff didn't even apologize to me the right way , never coming to this salata again plus they count the pieces of meat and barely give you the right portion stingy !!!!!!!!!!! This salata sucks read more

I work in the area, and it's hard to find quick, healthy options for lunch. This place is perfect for the stated descriptions. My favorite is their vegetarian wrap packed with freshest ingredients and loaded with chickpeas and/or black beans. I LOVE that they offer an immensely broad selection of vegetables, nuts, beans and dressings. Subway seems like a joke compared to this place. My only complaint is that it is a bit pricey for what it is. Aside from that, it's a go-to if you're willing to spend an extra couple bucks for variety and freshness. Enjoy! read more

This place is GREAT! They have everything and it's fresh and original. Thank you for a great lunch.

5/14/16 I just came across this location. I was excited that it had garlic bread. I only Goto the one in sugarland. Anyways, I was eating my salad and alongside me was a ROACH! I told the guys and it started to fly ! How disgusting ! I can only imagine the kitchen. Oh yeah , when leaving I saw a nat (spell check baby fly) flying around. read more

Eating healthy has never tasted so good, this place is my favorite in the Energy Corridor. I regretted not coming here yesterday for lunch, and accidentally trying that new place Spice Runner next door, because they were empty for lunch, but now I know why, it was a waste of money and horrible.. Anyway this place has fresh items that I can be proud to eat, the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is great, you have me locked in as a regular now. The dressings are always delicious and I love that even though they are always busy, (unlike the other places in the shopping center) the wait isn't that long and so worth every penny.. read more

Great salads you get to pick what you want in your salads and the fix it for you. I hate salad bars where everybody touches the food, Salata does it for you so kids never touch the food. Then they toss your salad in really great dressings and give it to you all ready to go. I am very picky about my dressings and I loved the Herb Vinaigrette, it was great. I will go back again and again. read more

Not usually a salad person, but somehow they make it tasty here. Their soups are tasty too. You can choose between a salad or salad wrap and add your protein. Good place. Will go back again when I'm in the area. read more

Worst Salata i have ever been - the lady who made my salad was very rude - she had an attitude like she was making my salad for free. I love Salata but the one in Highway 6 and I10 is the worst. Salata in Westhimer and Beltway 8 far better than this location. Here the toaster doesn't work for weeks now. Inexperienced staff, quality and quantity comparing to other locations below the average. Last time coming here, I'll drive few extra miles to the one in Westhimer. read more
