It is the buffet of salads with over thirty toppings to choose from so please be aware because a person can easily get carried away overtopping their salad. This particular location is by far the cleanest and most professional and friendly staffed Salata that I have visited. I stopped by today for a salad after an invigorating workout at the gym. I just felt like eating clean. I ordered a small salad with balsamic vinaigrette dressing on the side. The salad itself cost $8 and the protein that I ordered was an extra $4. I also asked for avocado which is an additional $1 charge. You can get the pita chips or the bread with your order at no additional cost. I also ordered a bottle of water which was $3. My total bill for a small salad, bread, and water was $18. I'm not sure if that's expensive to you all but when it comes to eating healthy and clean, I don't mind spending the money. Besides, it was cheaper and much healthier than a piece of filet mignon. 2. When placing your order, the server behind the counter will ask you what do you want to order. If you're ordering a salad or a wrap, they will start off by placing all of your ingredients in a bowl until you have reached the end of the serving line. You have the option of allowing the server to mix and toss your salad along with the salad dressing. However, if you're anything like me, you can ask for your dressing on the side and opt out of the mixing part. I never let them mix my salad. It's nothing against them but rather a preference of mine. 3. The portions are more than enough and the prices are reasonable. My go-to is the Salata mix in a small bowl with toppings for $9 then I add a protein for an extra $5. I was in for about 4 to 5 minutes, then I was already on my way back to my car. The salad was good. It was a good size salad. I placed an online order through DoorDash I ordered a wrap and 1 oatmeal cookie. I got my order super fast and noticed they gave me two cookies with a note saying they were out of oatmeal cookies so instead they gave me 2 different kinds of cookies instead. I recently discovered this place not being much of a healthy eater but I was pleasantly surprised with the options. I've eaten here over half a dozen times in two Months now. The choice between a large or small salad or wrap abs being able to add what you want and how much of each add in you want is enjoyable. There are options for a few protein add one at the end for a few dollars more. The pita chips are amazing and the almond croissants are too. About 3 weeks ago I was staying at a nearby hotel for business. I ate at Salata 3 times. This was my first time eating there a young Hispanic gentleman helped me and recommended Chicken Ceaser wrap...it was delicious, and a young Black gentleman also recommended other items on the menu, he was very polite. So I'll just say this . My personal life events are mine and mine alone . So I recently had a parent pass away earlier this month so traveling back and forth to help manage things and just processing everything it's been a lot okay . I was just honestly relived I don't over look them and they weren't even out to begin with so the attitude wasn't really warranted .....sigh. I get to the front of the line and go to pull out my cash after picking everything out and packing my two salads ...the cashier points to the sign at the register it's cash only ...which was currently all I had on my person . So I ask them if there's anything we can do the food has already been made can I just pay with the cash ...the large black man whom I assume is manager gives a big shrug without a word and points to a shorter Hispanic woman she says well we don't accept cash do you have apple pay or something I explained to her this was all I had and does there was anything that could be done as I just didn't know and wasn't told before hand and the foods ...already made you know she just said well I don't know mam . The line did bottle neck at the cash register but the workers tried their best to keep the line moving. The only thing keeping Salata from five stars is the lack of sweet tea. There were a handful of teas available, but no sweet tea. Salata's sitting area offered sufficient tables to handle the busy lunch crowd.
