On Thursday, 09/25, I walked in at 8:48pm and received a phone call from my wife, so I stopped to take the call just feet from the salad bar. Salata closes at 9pm. This tubby hispanic Male with a beard gives me a dirty look and asks what I want, I told him to give me one minute to take this and he tells me their closed. I finish my call, tell him its fine, I'll leave. Get to the door and confirm they close at 9pm. He then looks flustered like he realised he was wrong. If your employees dont like their work, maybe you should reconsider their employment. I love salata. The Frisco location looks amazing. They did some renovations a while back and it looks so clean and fresh. Service is always friendly and inviting. I know that a large salad can be 20$+ but I feel it is worth it. Because not only is a huge portion (could be for 2) but it is also packed with all the toppings you desire. All the ingredients are fresh, top quality and delicious. Plus now you can door dash salata and it's the best! We all love it at my house. This is usually Friday/order-in dinner. I seriously would eat here like 5 times a week if I could! Seriously, I love salads, and this location makes them PERFECTLY! My boyfriend and I placed an online order the other day, and everything was fantastic! The process very easy and the online order pickup process was seamless. Our salads were ready for pickup as soon as we got there! No long lines, no confusion! Also, all workers were wearing masks and the entire restaurant was following social distancing protocol, which is greatly appreciated. As always, our salads were AMAZING!!!!! I love that yummy salad places are popping up more and more. In the area I decided to pop in for lunch. I opted for a wrap, a cucumber tortilla wrap. I was pleased with the lettuce and mix in options. I was also pleased with the cleanliness of the place. There was a decent amount of seating and the prices were similar to other salad places. We stumbled upon this place because we were near by looking for salads and wraps. They make it super easy by looking at their menu online, and to build your own wrap or salad right on the site. My mom and sister went in and ordered though so that was still easy and was fairly quick. The site I was on to build my own wrap didn't have a tofu option, but they have it there in the restaurant. Next time I will for sure get my wrap with tofu now that I know that. My mom and sis enjoyed their salads! There a lot of variety when it comes to choosing what you want, including what salad mix your choose, veggies, and protein. I love several different elements and I am glad I did not have to pay extra for them. I even included crab meat. I love crab. I ended up ordered a regular salad with a mix of greens, with onions, broccoli, jalapeños, spicy grilled chicken, and the herb vinagrette. For two to share, it was a perfect size. The chicken was an upcharge if $3, which I was completely fine with because the quality of it was great. There is different options for protein, including different beans and fish. As a frequent Salata enjoyer it makes me sad to say that I will never return to this location. The staff was rude and acted as if more than 3 pieces (no exaggeration) of pineapple would cost the kitchen the same amount as if someone sold their soul. I received a small salad in a large bowl. As someone who doesn't eat meat on their salad I expect more than what I was given for a 8$ salad considering I work in the restaurant industry and know the cost of produce. Sadly I'm not alone in feeling this way as multiple people in line faced the same issues. Also, not to sound picky but I would bet my next paycheck that the mango dressing is watered down. That's the only dressing I use and I have it 3x a week and it's never had this consistency. The food is good. However, I was very disappointed with the service and responsiveness. So I tell this as a cautionary tale. I went into the ladies room and did not see a hook for my purse. Not wanting to sit it on the floor, I sat it in the sink. Apparently the faucet is motion activated. While my back was turned, the faucet dumped a gallon of water into open leather purse, soaking money, family photos, and a good iPhone. The purse is now watermarked, the phone is completely ruined, and the manager has not returned either of my calls.
