2 visits in 4 days means we liked it a lot! Everything is fresh and tasty and we both greatly appreciated the opportunity to taste the various, and delicious, dressing Included in your price is as much/many toppings as you want from the first two sections of toppings. You don't get extra charges until you get to the meats, avocados, etc. 30 bucks for two salads seemed excessive, but even the small, with a protein added was enough to take home half of it for lunch tomorrow. So I'm not complaining about the price. Everyone behind the counter was smiling and the tables were clean clean clean! Definitely recommend this salad and soup place and Will on our next visit read more

Ingredients are always fresh and amazing. The workers are always super friendly. Price is good for the amount of food you get. Love Salata! Would definitely recommend for anyone that loves salad. And those croissants are the best. read more

Amazing salad!! Service was great, typical line service. But portions were exceptional for what you pay!! It was a food court but clean.

I've been eating here every week for the past four years, and it never disappoints! The food is always fresh, delicious, and consistently high quality. What really sets this place apart is the amazing team. They're warm, personable, and make every visit feel special. It's rare to find a spot that delivers both incredible food and genuine hospitality but this one nails it every time. read more

My roommate and I came here for the first time today! Place is very clean and they have a lot of good options for all the add in and proteins. Janelle was one of the workers that helped us and she was super helpful! This woman needs a raise kinda helpful. We loved her and will be back because of her. If she's not there, we aren't there. If she has no fans we don't exist. Apologies if I spelt her name wrong. Also the peach tea slaps read more

If I could give it zero, I would. Ordered salad through app. I got a text that they would be using Door Dash to deliver the order. Next text said it had been picked up. Next text said my order had been canceled and I should contact the store. I contacted the store and they told me it was my Door Dash problem. I told them I ordered through the app and they chose to use Door Dash and I requested a refund. They spoke in some foreign language to someone in the room and laughed then told me they wouldn't do anything to help me. I did not choose Door Dash, they did. I had no recourse with Door Dash. They wouldn't allow me to speak to a manager. They told me to request a refund through the app (there is no way to do that). HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND HORRIBLE PEOPLE! read more

Good salad but no Thousand Islands Dressing and no Blue Cheese Dressing. If you like Ranch, they must have four or five variations, but I don't care for Ranch. The lettuce was fresh and they had a number of add-ones, but the lack of dressings was an issue for me. read more

If you want an awesome healthy, reasonably priced , delicious meal in college station this is your best bet. They offer BYO salads, wraps, and pita chips/ soups/ and bread as sides . If you're a picky eater and don't care about a lot of options , I wouldn't come here . However if you're like me and like to put EVERYTHING on your salad or wrap , you will get a awesome deal ! They offer small or large salads * I recommend large* and you go through the salad bar telling them everything you want. You can have as many toppings as you please, for no extra charge! The wraps work the same way, and are equally delicious . Sometimes the staff is on the slower side , or don't really understand what you're asking them, but besides for that it's an awesome place !!! read more

The staff here are so kind and welcoming! They were super patient and let me sample things when deciding what to add to my salad! Food was great and the place was super clean and how nice they were took it to the next level! read more

On today's episode of BOUJEE or BOOTY: This is my first time visiting this Salata. I've been to many other locations all over. First impression is that it's super clean and spacious, which is great. It gives me a good vibe. The ingredients were extremely fresh, with lots of variety. They were very accommodating when making my salad and even gave me extra dressing on the side like I asked. Workers were friendly. I got a small shrimp salad which came out to be $12. My salad turned out very good. Except... the cucumbers were extremelyyyyy mushy... it tasted so horrible that I almost docked a star. Only thing saving it was that the person who made my salad listened to my request and only gave me a bit of cucumbers. All the other ingredients were fresh and delicious. Overall, I had a good experience. Would come here again (and not get cucumbers). FINAL VERDICT: boujee read more

It's disappointing that I spend $16 on a wrap with 4 small pieces of chicken. The portion sizes are not worth coming back. Spend ur money elsewhere read more

Amazing, Fresh, Clean, Endless toppings, unique. Build your own salad or order off menu. As for the pita chips, yum

Great food! Service was excellent too! And the ambience was really nice. Overall, very good and will come back!

Salata - Salad Near Me - College Station, Texas

This place took me by storm! I eat here almost every day now. Great staff, clean restaurant. Amazing food. Keep it up guys read more

This is something which literally never happens in my travel - I visited Salata twice during short 5 days - I hope you get my point and I can stop my review now. The restaurant is located inside a big shopping plaza, with plenty of parking. Very interesting model, which can suit a wide range of eaters - from people who eat everything, like myself, to vegetarians, vegans and even Kosher observing people (one of my colleagues was). As the name suggests, this is all about the salad. The salad is assembled for you under your direction, so you actually don't handle anything, unlike a typical salad bar. You start from the bowl size and base for your salad - choosing the greens first (mixed, Romain lettuce, spinach, kale - you control the mix). Then you can add anything from the wide range of variety of cut up veggies and other typical salad condiments (berries fresh and dry, seeds, nuts, cheeses, etc). Next, you can get any dressing you like, and you can stop there, or proceed to add proteins from a wide selection of different styles of chicken, salmon, shrimp, ...), add a few more extras such as cut up avocados, artichokes etc., add croutons, and you are done. You can also get fresh soup (had white beans with kale twice - delicious). Again, everything is fresh, clean, simple, and delicious. Excellent service - friendly and patient (there are lots of choice for the people who don't know what they want). Also very reasonable prices. Definitely recommended. read more

As a huge fan of Salata, and having reviewed several, this one ranks at the very bottom. First, when going through the salad line, staff loaded my large salad with literally a teaspoon at a time! For instance, a teaspoon of cheese! I asked for more, and I got an additional 1/2 teaspoon. I'm paying for a large salad with my choice of toppings, not for a bowl of lettuce and a little of this and that! Staff, spoke little English, which I found very surprising and different from any other Salata I had been to. Pieces of lettuce were brown, and I also had a nice inedible chunk included. They charged us 50 cents for an extra 1/2 scoop of dressing to cover said large salad. It would be different had we not eaten at so many wonderful Salatas, and thus, had such high expectations. We will never return to this location, and left VERY disappointed. read more

I really liked this place until I sat down to eat my salad. Because there was still water on the kale, the dressing was diluted. I asked for more dressing and was told it would be a "few more dollars" on top of $45 for two salads. Cheap and chintzy! It's one of few places to get a decent salad in this town, but I'd be hard pressed to return. Very disappointing! read more

Fairly speaking, you are paying slightly higher price to get a better taste salad with more various kinds of things. It's a "build your own" salad bar. Basically you can find almost every veggie you want here. They are fresh. And their salad dressings make their salad taste better than those from grocery stores or fast food chains. One complain, they put way much more greens (spinach, spring mix, etc.) than other things. When they asked me what other veggies I want and I said "everything except radish and carrots" the lady at the counter legit staring at me and don't know what to do till the other guy took it over. read more

Update: I emailed Salata and Facebook messaged them as they requested. ZERO RESPONSE. I may be done with all Salata's. What a shame. Such awful customer service. read more

It's just annoying how this salata is SO stingy with the amounts of additions they add. I got a small salad and the lady quite LITERALLY gave me only 5 little bell pepper cubes, and literally 4 carrots. It's just ridiculous how my meal was $13 for basically nothing. I understand one scoop is 5 bell pepper slices but at least give 2/3 scoops then??? This makes me not want to give service again. read more

We came here for a quick bite to eat. All in all, this is just a typically average spot. Pros: + Customizable - I really love how you can pick from a variety of different toppings to get a salad you'd really like + Healthy - great variety of options + Salads and Wraps + Plenty of Parking Cons: - Feels a bit rushed - Pricey for the quality you are getting - Not a huge fan of add ons. They have quite a few options that can quickly cost a surcharge read more

Souper Salad returns to College Station but worse. Still, there is a huge demand for light eating and salads in College Station, and no one is stepping in to fill the void. So Salata has kind of a monopoly and they will do well. Like Souper Salad, salad is the star of the show - and like Souper Salad the ingredients come from commercial vendors and are of mixed quality. Greens are generally fine, Tomatoes are fine. Beans are fine. Beets are fine. (Cans do a good job of taking care of beets.) Hard Boiled Eggs are fine. Broccoli is pre-chopped dried up and awful. Olives are out of a can.(You have a choice of two colors out of a can but still ...) How much does it cost to put a dish of decent olives out - when two hundred people will be sharing the cost of buying something that tastes good? Kale is maybe okay. Same for Celery. Note that Souper Salad bought from the same type of vendors and their broccoli, olives etc were just as bad as those you get here. An improvement over Souper Salad is they have lots of kinds fish they can put on your salad. Sure - fish builds the tab ... but I am always happy to have salmon on my salad. A deterioration relative to Souper Salad is no making your own salad. One of the greatest pleasures in life was to make a gigantic salad on your plate - using your finest construction engineering - and since salad was by the weight, they were happy to charge you for your masterpiece. Here the staff measures precise amounts into your bowl and portion control rules. Still - Souper Salad went out of business and Salata is still here, The business model of Salata may be more rational, although I think consumers got a better deal from Souper Salad. Note that most of the non-salad options at Souper Salad - really good soups, baked potatoes, hot blueberry bread, flatbread pizza .... these things are all gone. You now have salad salad and salad with a few non-salad options. Souper Salad had a beautiful wrap around room in a convenient location. Salata is a squeezed in space at the very far back of a not very attractive strip mall. Still salad is salad and this is respectable enough salad if you stick to the 3/4 of the ingredients that are more or less okay. So probably I will be eating here - just like everybody else. But I am still wishing for my Handsome Prince to come and take me to a world where everything on the salad bar is fresh and good and not just some of it. read more

Love it! Finally a place where the food is fresh and makes you feel good. The broccoli soups brings me memories of my grandma soup, totally homemade style! Nice variety of teas! Not the classic black unsweetened and sweetened! The vanilla-pineapple is delicious. And the salad that I made was really yummy, the dressing selection is awesome and the bread freshly toasted was the last awesome detail of my lunch. Really nice servers and a vivid decoration! (-) My only complain is that the seafood extra is way too expensive. $4 for tuna? It was good but a can is less than a dolar... Also I took the risk to add the crab-seafood mix. So 2 extras,$4 each. It was yummy but a total of $8 was not worth it for the amount you receive. The flavor is delicious though read more

Service: The people behind the counter were very polite, prompt and patient! They also seemed to be working hard to make sure the restaurant is clean and tables cleared. Quality/Quantity: I thought there was a lot of variety and the portions were large. I felt like I got the most bang for my buck. I probably should've ordered the small because the regular was HUGE! Not bad at all for 11ish dollars. I ordered the pesto chicken, a bit dry but that was alright. Everything was fresh and delicious. Value: Very solid price for what you get. I think the regular was like $8.66 or something like that. Atmosphere: Bright, lots of light coming from the windows, clean, modern, lots of tables. Overall, I'd definitely come here again :) read more

My husband and I ate here for lunch yesterday. We really enjoyed it. I told him it was like if Chipotle and Panera Bread had a love child haha. I do wish there were more booths, but there was still seating available despite the crowd. I loved that the price is set, no matter what toppings you get. There were multiple dressings to choose from, but I was surprised there was no Greek dressing (my fave). I had the balsamic vinaigrette, and it was delicious. Hubby and I both had a cup of the tomato basil soup and it was incredibly good!!! I'm picky about soup, so I was very happy. There was also a variety of flavored tea and lemonades to choose from, which were very good. I hope in the future they decide to make coffee drinks :) All in all, a great first experience. We will definitely be coming back. Also: they give a military discount! Yay! read more

Went here for the first time today with my grandmother and my roommate! I was expecting it to be pretty good but it was reallyyyy good! The ingredients were really fresh and tasty and my salad turned out delicious. Also, it was huge so I got my fill and still had enough left over to take home. I also tried the tomato basil soup and it was really good. I will certainly be coming back. Saw a lot of comments of people griping about it not being a salad bar where you build your own salad but I personally like that... It feels a LOT more sanitary this way! read more

This was my first visit to any Salata ever. They should let you build your own salad, kind of like Genghis Grill does, instead of putting everything on for you, in the amounts that they want. My companion and I both got the "$8 Regular size" salads. I know that proteins add to the cost, but when we got to the register, it was more than $34 for two salads and two iced teas - that's way overpriced for what we got. The food was fine and the atmosphere/décor struck me as "low overhead". Not a great experience. Jason's Deli is a much better deal if you want a good salad at a reasonable price. read more

I love the variety of toppings, I love romaine lettuce only as the base, and add a little but pineapple, grapes and apples. Asian chicken tastes so good next time I will not hesitate to add two scoops. Actually it's not that cheap but I think it's worth it because for the regular size salad I need to eat two times to finish it, by the way you can have baked pita strips on the side so they will stay crispy when you take them out of the refrigerator! Before I thought I hated salad, but after this time I think I love salad so much. read more

I eat here a lot. More than I'd like to admit to. It is consistent fresh and delicious.

Went to salada today. The service wasn't the best, the lady couldnt understand me well (was odd bc I know I speak loud and clear especially when ordering food), my order was wrong, and I payed $9 for a basic small sized salad with chicken. I entered very excited about my possible experience and was let down by the lack of explanation of the transitions for ordering. I had 3 or 4 different people take my order as I went down the line and it all got jumbled up at the end of the line so I settled for what they gave me instead of what I actually wanted. It was VERY unorganized feeling and overall kind of felt uninviting. I left really upset with my experience. I do, however, think it still deserves 3 stars bc the food was really good (felt like it was worth the $9) and it was very clean and neat. Overall bad experience but would still recommend. (I get that people sometimes have off days. Business was still decent enough I guess.) read more

It's kind of hard to mess up a salad when you have full control of what goes into it! The restaurant has a large number of ingredients That can be added to the salads, which are available in two sizes. You can also opt for a wrap if you'd like, which is what I did. The tomato-basil soup was also really, really good. Everything seemed reasonably priced, but a little on the more expensive side when compared to the restaurants around it. It's definitely worth checking out though! read more
