Classic Carol BLT Sandwich Meal
Haylee S.

This place is soo cute inside & decorated for the holidays! I had my order taken by a friendly cashier and decided to try the BLT Sandwich with the Classic Carol Chicken Salad & a side of Mac N Cheese. The sandwich was good but felt it didn't have as much of the chicken salad as I was hoping. The mac was also tasty but nothing extraordinary. I loved how the meal came with a pickle and a cookie though! The cookie was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS - incredibly sweet and buttery! Overall, this meal was a little over $10 which is a great value for what you get :) I will definitely be coming here again for the price/quality ratio.

I'm always driving by this place everyday and I finally got myself to try it! This place is so nice on the inside, I will have to dine in the next time. It wasn't crowded at all, and the establishment was very clean. My food also came out very quickly! I ordered the Classic Chicken Salad Chick meal with a side of the Potato Soup. Both the sandwich and the soup were absolutely delicious. The soup was my favorite! I will have to order it in a bigger cup for the next time! The meal also came with a cute little packaged sugar cookie! Overall, this place isn't too bad for a quick eat! It's reasonably priced and tastes great! Will definitely have to check out the other things on the menu for my next visit!

This was a cute place to go to lunch and the food is good but the wait is kind of crazy for food that is essentially already made. I would go if you have lots of time and are absolutely not in a rush. I had the tortilla soup (not great) but the bacon chicken salad was really good -especially on a bed of lettuce-that was all fresh and pretty! The poppyseed dressing was good but would have been better on fruit. But if you like sweet dressing be sure and try it -you won't be disappointed. We had some of the white cake and it was dry (but the frosting was yummy!).

I like this type of healthy affordable fast food. As a chain, chicken salad chick definitely go beyond my expectations. 4.99 you get a scoop of chicken salad with crackers, pickle, cookie. 7.99 you can add soup or green salad or another scoop. They have nutrition facts posted on their website so you can check how much carbs how much protein you are taking. People working on sites are all super friendly and helpful. The store itself is very clean. This is definitely the place to go if you want something cheap and healthy!

I can't believe they named a restaurant after me! I am definitely a Chicken Salad Chick, and I absolutely LOVE everything about this cool franchise. All the selections are great but my current favorite is the lemon basil. I would have never thought to make it this way, but now I'm obsessed. I can't get enough! I usually buy a container to take home and have Sassy Sally on a croissant with soup in the restaurant. Fruity Fran is yummy if you are leaning more sweet than savory. Buffalo Barclay is savory but not nearly as hot as its namesake Buffalo wings-just enough spicy flavor to say "wow, that's good!" Every entree comes with a little packaged cookie with buttercream icing. Sweet touch! Colors and decor inside are bright and cheerful. It's a counter-order, self-bus spot, but each table has a placard that you use when you leave so the staff knows it's ready to be wiped down. Simple and thoughtful system.

Came here with my coworkers. I've been here several times, but I haven't been here in over 2 years…read moreso I was nervous that it'd be drastically different because I loved this place. They did change the menu a bit, but it had what I exactly wanted. We ordered the Szechuan Mala Spicy Rice Noodle Bowl w/ Beef Slices, Popcorn Chicken, Shrimp Tempura, and Xiao Long Bao. The noodle bowl is the best. Tons of flavor and ingredients with the vermicelli noodles are just amazing. The popcorn chicken is delicious, nothing special. The shrimp tempura is delicious and has an amazing crunch. The Xiao Long Bao is more of a soup dumpling dim sum style. It was pretty delicious, but it didn't taste really fresh like you'd get from an actual dim sum restaurant. The staff are friendly and fast. Lots of tables to dine at. Parking lot is a bit small, but you can park on the other side of the buildings where there are more parking.

If you worship at the Altar of Sourdough, I have found the Gates of Bread Heaven…read more I have sourdough across this Land from Florida to California and THIS is the best flavored sourdough I have ever had in my decades of eating. The crust has a chew to it that is firm but gives way soon enough after biting. What it gives way to is a crumb that is soft, textured and smells like a double dose of sourdough yeast. The starter is at least 25 years old and boy howdy, it really packs a punch. So much so, I asked an employee there if they sold starter. I would have bought some to use and grow at home. Enough about their star item ... let's go over the lunch I enjoyed there yesterday (15May26, got a free cookie on their birthday). I had their Crawfish Mac and Cheese in a bread bowl. The pasta was curly and cooked al-dente, as any pasta should be. The pieces of crawfish had a slight, very slight dusting of bread crumbs on them that added a nice texture to the forkful of pasta and creamy cheesiness that is a hallmark of mac n cheese. Needless to say, I managed to finish the contents of the bowl (the plug of bread removed is also served) and about half of the wonderful bread bowl before forcing myself to just stop. The remains were dutifully doggie bagged and brought with me as a snack to be enjoyed on the drive home. I will be in College Station many times over the next four years and when there, Blue Baker is definitely on my list of places to get great bread and a good lunch. There are three in Aggieland, so try them all if you are nearby. Ciao, Darrell

i've been meaning to write this review for a while. this is legitimately the best ramen i've ever…read morehad in my life, and at a reasonable price. i generally get the hot spicy beef w/ ramen noodles, but have tried nearly every combination of meat, noodle, and even some of the non-noodle options such as the general tso's chicken. quick praise for the service, they're quite attentive and kind, always a pleasant experience dining here and love to see the family helping out within the restaurant. ramen: upon first impression, i was genuinely taken aback by how refreshing the broth was. i've tried ramen from many different cities and countries at this point and my general impression of ramen at sit-down establishments is that the broth tends to either skew towards being more umami, fatty, salty, or watery. typically, i wouldn't describe a standard broth as necessarily refreshing, rather satisfying, in a way that itches your typical ramen craving, but not one that leaves you feeling like you could drink this and feel rejuvenated on a hot day. this ramen's broth is refreshing. it's fresh, flavorful, not overly salty nor fatty, yet compliments the flavor of both the noodles, chili oil (optional), and toppings. when i'm away from college station, i genuinely crave this ramen, and from the texture of the noodle to the portion size, this is a 6 star ramen, a gem of college station, in my opinion. personally, i prefer the ramen noodle option over the rice noodle, but i have thoroughly enjoyed the variation of rice noodles with their seafood option. general tso's chicken: this once again is my favorite general tso's variation i've had from the many that i have tried as of yet. the chicken is crisp, flavorful, and the seasoning is very satisfying. as a pair with the fried rice, i would deduct a half point on account of wishing the chicken to rice ratio was more in favor of the chicken as the fried rice, while still excellent, is ever so slightly more peppery and soft than i prefer without the chicken to balance it out. this is a must-try in cstat. get the hot & spicy beef ramen or the chicken, put some chili oil on top of it. you won't regret it! quick note: the traditional crepe is quite expensive but i have heard a lot of praise for it from my chinese friends. eager to try that one day soon.

I had a very frustrating experience at the Panera Bread in College Station while driving back from…read morea work meeting. I needed a quick lunch to go for the long drive home, so I used the drive-thru and was very clear about my order. I asked for the Green Goddess salad-style sandwich WITHOUT chicken or bacon, and the employee confirmed that this could be done. After I received my meal and drove off, I parked a few minutes later to take a quick bite. That is when I noticed on the receipt that the item still included chicken, even though the bacon had been removed. As a vegetarian, this was extremely upsetting. More importantly, it made me think about how serious this kind of mistake could be for someone with a food allergy. If an allergen were missed in the same way, the consequences could be dangerous leading to serious adverse events like anaphylaxis! I went back through the drive-thru and explained that chicken had still been included in my order. The employee seemed to remember my order, but there was no clear apology until I reached the window and handed back the incorrect sandwich. The whole situation felt careless and disappointing, especially because I had been specific about what needed to be removed. I think this location, and Panera more broadly, needs to take training around dietary restrictions and food preparation much more seriously. Whether a request is based on personal preference, vegetarianism, or a serious allergy, customers should be able to trust that their order will be prepared correctly. This experience left me frustrated and concerned about the lack of care shown with a very simple modification.
