Recycle it, or keep it for some other use. Minus the tortilla, you get the whole burrito in this bowl, plus some crispy fried tortilla strips. A bit of chunky Salsa Fresca,in the bowl, too, along with your salsa packet options. (I prefer the green) Downvote on the strong black pepper on the fried potatos! It is stronger than Texas smoked brisket crust, wow!! Either too much black pepper, or this is nuked black pepper, extra strength? Next time, I will sub-out the potatos for more cheese. House hot black coffee was smooth, I drink it nekkid, no sugar, no cream. Good deal at $1.59 Drivethru service was smooth, I paid with card. (Salad & Go! is a kiosk business; no lobby, no dine-in, no outdoor seating. Also, no public restroom. The employee restroom door is on the outside, because the entire business is a kitchen. I have been a fan of the company since Salad and Go 1st opened near my job. Once the Sachse location opened I would swing by after my early morning workout and grab my lunch. This Rowlett location was something that I waited on with great anticipation since it's within 6 minutes of my house and perfect for my commute. This Rowlett location has disappointed me so many times and today is the final straw. Anytime I order a Cobb with no onions there are onions in it. So now I've defaulted to the Caesar salad and the portions keep getting smaller! Today I had a tablespoon of chicken and not even half of the orange container is full. So I went from ordering 5 days a week, to 1 day and after today, I'm giving up on this location. read more

The food here is good, but the service is terrible. I get treated so badly by staff mostly every time I go. It even prevents me from ordering from them as often as I'd like to. S&G needs to work on finding people who actually have customer service skills instead of people who just act annoyed about having to work. Just the other day for example, I went here for breakfast. I ordered 3 different breakfast burritos and a cold brew. I had asked if I could get 1/2 & 1/2 on the side and he said, "we don't do that anymore." Which shocked me because they had just done that for me the week prior. When I got to the window, I paid and was then handed my cold brew by the same guy (who I noted had dirty, fake nails on, which grossed me out a little bit). I then waited, while he and the other girl he was working with talked while my food sat there on the counter. I was obviously on their time. When I was finally handed the food, the girl basically threw it at me and shut the window faster than I had ever seen. She did not ask if I still needed anything. I was the only one in the drive thru for this entire transaction, so I did not understand the rush. When I got home, I realized that because I had been on their time and was inconveniently patronizing them, they had not even bothered to give me the salsa that comes with the burritos (I was never even asked), and one of the burritos had been mislabeled, so the person who it was intended for did not get the right one. I've had worse experiences than this, but bad experiences just seem to be a trend with this S&G. I hope a new location opens near me eventually so I can stop going to this one. read more

This is hands down the best quick, "I'm trying to do right" meal options for the low! Salads are so cheap yet so filling! The fact that it was a drive through made it even better! The drinks are pretty tasty too. You should try the cucumber lemonade. It's super refreshing. Definitely recommend giving them a try! read more

I would say a zero but it won't let me. This place was great when it first opened and now it's quickly gone down hill!!! My family visited 2-3 times a week. Now because of the service and horrible food, we might go once a month hoping for the best. Well it's just gotten worse. I ordered a Cobb salad with extra chicken and this is what I received. I can count the chicken pieces and there is absolutely nothing to this salad that is suppose to be in it. Save your self time and money and don't go here!!! read more

Had a terrible experience today. The service has consistently declined. The teens they hire don't care at all about service or quality. Today I ordered Cobb salads. I got home and several ingredients were missing. I called back and was told they were out of the items. That's something that they should let customers know. When everything goes right, the salads are great and reasonably priced. However, I recently bought a Cobb salad and there was no avocado. The avocado makes the salad for me. I went back a few days later to order more Cobb salads and mentioned the missing avocado. They told me they are no longer out of avocado. So what I thought was an honest oversight, turned out that they knowingly did not give me a complete salad, charged me full price and did not give me the opportunity to change my order. Then I later realized that the 3 Cobb salads I ordered today are missing blue cheese. Again, no one mentioned they are out of an ingredient. My father had also ordered a Cobb salad two days ago and it was missing the egg. A couple of weeks ago, I ordered a Cobb salad which was missing the dressing. Please complete the salad or give the customer an opportunity to order a different salad. I initially loved this place but now I'm disappointed in the lack of consistent ingredients. read more

I ordered 5 breakfast Southwest bowls. The food was cold. I was in a hurry to drop off kids at school and they tried to eat it on the way, but they all didn't like it cold, of course. Just in case you think we waited too long to start eating our food, we didn't wait, 3 of us started eating it on the drive to school. I literally dropped off 2 bowls next door at Planet Fitness so it wasn't like it was a long trip that breakfast got cold for the other 2 people. I stopped by an hour later after dropping my kids off at school to express my concerns about cold breakfast being served. The guy at the window said that the poblano pepper is served cold and eggs and sausage are served warm, but I told him the whole bowl was cold. He said that possibly the peppers made the eggs and sausage cold. Don't order bowls there, because they serve the bowls cold like a salad. read more

I recommend this business, just not the location at 3201 Lakeview Pkwy in Rowlett, Tx . This is the second time at this location an ingredient for a Cobb Salad was missing . The first time was approximately 2 weeks ago and the avocado missing ; and I let it go . This morning the egg was missing, and this time I drove back to the store to get the egg and let the employee know I was dissatisfied with my order not having all the ingredients or look like the picture . Not even sure where to begin. Waited 20 minutes for my online order, just to be told they were confused by the buffalo salad and made a caesar salad instead. Their words, not mine. They remade it but failed to include the additional toppings and remove a topping listed on the order. When I asked if celery had been removed, he said to pick it out. OK, first I have been told that. I asked if green onions were added, he said "well if you asked for it then they probably put it on the side or something". It was late, almost closing time and decided this was not worth any more time. Unfortunately, I had two more salads to check. Without fail, the vegetarian salad had a huge serving of chicken. I went to the window and told him this was supposed to be avocado and not chicken. He said, "what do you want me to do, take it off for you?" I said "no, this needs to be remade with avocado as the protein" (It would have been impossible to pick out the broken up chicken) He looked at me with confusion and said "so what do you want, tofu?" I said, "no, avocado". They remade the salad and as he handed the salad to me he said, "Greek salad with no avocado". His brain must have still been fogged but there was avocado on this one. First time trying this place and I got the traditional burrito. I noticed in the first bites I was getting nothing but potatoes. I opened it up and there was only a few small pieces of eggs and it was all potatoes. Is that normal? Anyways, I really really wanted to like them but I ended up throwing it away.
