I'm very picky when it comes to Sushi, I can tell the second I walk into a sushi restaurant if it's worth my time or not, and this place hit all the right notes! - the restaurant smelled nice no fishy smell which usually indicates the fish isn't fresh or of high quality. -The ambiance was exactly what I like to see, dim lighting with a classic Japanese aesthetic, feels cozy and immersive. -and don't even get me started on the food, I felt overwhelmed by all the different rolls I wanted to choose, but ended up going with the Maui roll and it was fantastic! I always have to get Miso soup to start and it was the perfect start to a great meal to come! I also got an order of Tuna sushi and Shrimp sushi, which were phenomenal in their own simple right. The cuts of the Tuna where huge and colorful which made them all the more appetizing. -everything came out fast and at no point did I have to ask for any assistance because they were so attentive. I'm honestly shocked this place has such high reviews. The sushi pieces are poor quality. The albacore we had was not good and the attempt to cover up the quality with onions and pepper did not work. The amber jack was still FROZEN, I regret not sending it back. For the price I would think these cuts would be higher quality but are even worse than the cheaper sushi places I go to. All the sushi pieces were chewy. The rolls are decent, but also over priced. Save your money and go somewhere else. Low quality sushi for a high price. read more

It was basically a layer of rice in a box mold topped with minced tuna topped with more rice and then more tuna and avocado. If you like rice then this is for you. My husband and I came for lunch right when it opened. They honored the BOGO 50% off for lunch on all rolls including the specialty rolls and the new rolls. The chef did a great job. Fish tasted fresh and there wasn't a lot of rice (which is good in my opinion). It came with salad and miso soup. The restaurant has a pretty chill atmosphere. Music isn't loud, it's not dark inside. They have a big sushi bar area if you want to sit there. The bathrooms are really nice and clean. The restaurant is good-sized and you can have a pretty big party come in. Parking isn't hard to find even though it's in a little shopping plaza. I think a lot of the places in the plaza are quick in and out places so people don't park their cars for too long. read more

We watched the chef continue to prioritize takeout orders over our own order while we sat there and complained about it to the manager who did not seem to care that we had a bad experience.
