I used to order from this place because the food is decent and cheap and used to always be on time. Recently their delivery time has been all over the place. Sometimes super early sometimes super late. But this is the last time I'll order from them: I got home one minute BEFORE the estimated delivery time and was yelled at in front of my building by the delivery guy for not answering the phone (I had no service). I don't know why I keep ordering from here. The sushi isn't fresh, and the soba noodle dishes are not cooked in traditional Japanese sauces. I ordered the Yaki Soba noodles and got pale udon noodles instead- they had no sauce, no seasoning, and no garnish. I had to put soy sauce on it even then it wasn't really enjoyable, it was just salty. One time I ordered a hand roll, the nori they used didn't even give me the satisfying crunch you get from dried seaweed. The tuna was clearly going bad (the fish tasted sour) along with that order I had gotten calamari, and it smelled extremely fishy. upon putting a piece of it in my mouth a scent of ammonia literally sent me running to the bathroom. Thankfully I didn't get sick cause the seaweed salad was also lukewarm, and smelt fishy. I'm beginning to think the owners of this place are not Japanese. For the price I was paying, I knew I wouldn't be getting anything close to "good" sushi, but I was expecting it to pass for edible at minimum. The rolls had a faint fishy smell, and that's the last time I will keep eating raw fish that smells like fish because I just finished filing a complaint with the NYC Department of Health. But can you get sex delivered by moped? Probably, actually, yes. I'm amazed by how quickly the moped dude delivers to my office, and the food is way too good to be coming from anywhere in frown heights. They must be trucking it in from Williamsburg or something. I feel weird giving this place 2 stars. The food was actually ok, but the delivery experience was the worst I've ever had. I put specific instructions into seamless that they would buzz me at my apartment, and I would buzz them into the building. My apartment was on the fourth floor and there's an elevator, so there's no problem getting up. When the food arrived, the delivery person buzzed. I buzzed them in. Then they buzz again, and again, and again, and again. I use the intercom to ask what's going on but the delivery guy buzzed over my voice. The buzzer in my apartment is loud, really loud, ear piercing loud. So while this racket is going off in my apartment the guy calls me. He starts yelling at me unintelligibly on the phone while continuing to buzz. I can't hear him over the sound of the buzzing. I tell him I've buzzed him in three times and hit the unlock button again to buzz him in, and I hang up. He continues to buzz again and again. I use the intercom to tell him I've buzzed him in. He responds unintelligibly through the intercom while continuing to buzz. So, incredibly annoyed, I change out of my pajama pants and put on shoes to go downstairs to let him in, all the while he's buzzing and calling me. When I get down to the lobby, he's in the freaking lobby. IN THE BUILDING. I take my food from him and ask if everything is in there. He looks at me like I'm speaking French and asks me to repeat myself about 7 times, all the while refusing to take the headphones out of his ears. Eventually I just went upstairs.
