My mom has been wanting me try "her" sushi place, so we went for lunch for AYCE. Ordering is simple. You click what you want via an iPad and send it to the kitchen. I highly suggest ordering kitchen stuff first and then order sushi after. To start we had spicy kani salad, dinosaur egg, rock shrimp, coconut shrimp, chicken satay, shrimp dumplings, and soup dumplings. Everything was really good. While the chicken satay was good, I wouldn't order it again. For my sushi I had the Black Queens roll and the Fire Island roll. Both were really good! My mom ordered Kani Su, shrimp tempura roll and shrimp avocado roll. She enjoyed. For dessert, we shared fried Oreos. Service was good. It's cheaper if you pay cash! I'd return if I was in the area.

One of the better ayce sushi spots in the New York area, and while I got the premium items and opted to go down the list of premium items at the end of the night I came to the conclusion that I didn't really need it and it didn't warrant the uncharge. In short just get the regular ayce sushi sashimi option here. The appetizers are creative, sashimi fresher than your typical spots, and options pretty abundant. Skip the premium as it doesn't add much

Sakura is a restaurant where you can eat off an all you can eat menu as well as eat off of a regular menu. The all you can eat menu has sushi, Chinese and Thai as well as hibachi. The cooked food comes out quickly and hot. The portions are big and every dish is delicious. There is a vast amount of sushi rolls to pick from and you order using a lap top. The staff is very nice and accommodating. A must try

Great all you can eat sushi. I'd go as far as to say the best on Long Island. They have booths and tables, as well as iPads as menus. The food comes fast and the service is great. If you're in the mood for sushi and a lot of it, I'd do this!

We had a great experience at Sakura. The service was excellent--attentive and friendly. The sushi was fresh, flavorful, and presented well. It's definitely worth a visit, and I'll be back to try more of the menu!

I came here for dinner with my friends. Sakura Sushi is a popular all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant known for its fresh and flavorful sushi rolls, sashimi, appetizers, and desserts. It offers a wide variety of options with generous portions, making it a great choice for sushi lovers. We use the iPad to send the orders of what we wanted to eat. They also have an additional menu with specialities. The casual and family-friendly ambiance features TVs for entertainment, creating a comfortable dining atmosphere suitable for small groups and families. Every sushi rolls tastes fresh. Their gyoza was so good that we ended up ordering more of it. And their fried ice cream with vanilla was great! It does get very packed at night, so highly recommend reservations. There's also free parking space.

We ventured out to Sakura with my wife and two young kids. We found Sakura on yelp and saw that it had a very large variety of food options besides sushi, which is great for us as my kids don't dig sushi. Parking in the front was fairly easy and when we walked in on Saturday at around 5 PM, the place wasn't too busy. they use iPads to place orders, which was pretty easy to figure out. We ordered from the hot food menu and some sushi which came pretty quick however, this being our first time we didn't order too much sushi for fear of not being able to finish everything given all the hot appetizers we had. When I went to place my second order of sushi it did not arrive for quite some time until I asked the staff to see what the status of it was. They told me that I had supposedly went over my limit which seemed kind of surprising, considering it's a buffet I was given the chance to re-order, but by that time, my kids were already acting up from sitting there so long overall the food was fairly good with exception of the Kani which tasted kind of weird . For the price of $36 you get to order from anything on the iPad which I didn't know because some previous reviewers had stated there's an up charge for the premium items. Well now it's all included. I will give this place another try again, but my experience with not knowing my second sushi order did not go through kinda diminished my experience.

WE LOVE IT HERE! my hubby and I went for the weekday all you can eat lunch special (25.99 cash, 27.99 CC) and it was AMAZING! there are no exclusions to what you can order- signature rolls, regular rolls, sashimi, dim sum, appetizers, chefs specials, Chinese platters, soups, salads and dessert, too! even if you don't do the all you can eat, the prices in general are super reasonable. The place itself is no-frills but the service is so friendly, place is clean, and everything we ordered was absolutely delish! I know we went during off-peak hours but it didn't seem super busy and I just want to see them do well! If you love sushi, this is a place you cannot miss out on! Highly recommended the USA ROLL (so good with the mango on top) and the Crazy Friday roll. Their rock shrimp is great and we loved the dinosaur egg!

Popping into here passing through Merrick and what a hidden gem!!! Really cute Vietnamese…read morerestaurant, staff was really nice and helpful, simple seating, simple menu. We got the Kenko rolls, both were great! The peanut sauce it came with went great with the chili sauce on the table. The rock shrimp were like popcorn chicken in the best way, light, crispy breading, not oily at all. The filet pho was lovely, it's huge, tons of noodles, very light broth, ofc comes with the bean sprouts, Thai basil, lime - would recommend a pho and the fish bahn mi was also really good, the fish was really crispy but the star was the pickled carrot and radish side- so light and refreshing, went so well with everything!

Decided to give this place another chance. I got their traditional bahn mi again. AGAIN, THERE WAS…read moreNO VISIBLE SIGN OF PATE INSIDE THE BAHN MI. Major disappointment. Traditional bahn mi has pate. Their menu even lists it. They couldn't have run out. I've been there a number of times and they never once put pate in there. Last time I've asked for extra pate and the guy asked what pate was. Such a rip off. Then I thought, let me try their pho. Their broth was fine as a Chinese noodle soup, mediocre at best, but it was definitely not pho. The noodle they've used was also not what authentic Viet restaurants use for their pho. Too many failures. Too many tries. Never going back.
