This place is absolute fire! I will say that opener should come as no surprise, given that it's the little sister to Moku Yakitori-Ya (next door). So if you dig the vibes at Moku Yakitori-Ya, then you'll love the sake bar.
Richard and Emily are the brains behind the operation. The sake selection is fantastic and they'll take care of you while pointing you in the right direction based on your palate preference.
The food is also very good, my favorite thing we ordered was the beef tongue; so tender, and so flavorful. It's most definitely worth a try, but everything was good from the hand rolls, to sushi rolls.
Just a heads up, you can't have the yakitori food at the sake bar, or at least that's what I was under the impression of.
All in all, I would totally come back to this quaint, dimly lit, dope sake joint. It's def worth a visit for a no frills well curated sake joint. read more
