Our crew enjoyed the sweet a/c, delicious food, and kind staff

No complaints from us. Lovely and clean establishment. Very accommodating waitress. Superb sushi & tempura chicken tenders. Ice water kept coming on a hot July day

I came here for lunch with a friend and the specials were so good! We decided to share 3 sushi rolls: spicy crab, shrimp tempura and sweet potato. We also had the hibachi lunch with steak and noodles. Both orders came with miso soup and salad. Everything was so good, and the price for lunch was amazing. Just look at how they plated our sushi. Not only was the presentation A1, it tastes better than it looked. The food didn't stand a chance. I'll definitely be back and will be telling everyone to check this place out. Did I forget to mention it's BYOB?!

Have dined in person two more times and got takeout and still very much a fan! The service is always very friendly and attentive. Their special rolls are delicious. The presentation is always nice. This my new go to in town for sushi. In addition to the special rolls, the spicy edamame is worth a try. Gyoza and shumai good. Veggie fried rice also very good.

    Nice decoration on our plate.

The food was delicious! Service was great, fast, and sushi had pretty cool decor around the plate. The ambiance was decorated really nice for the holidays.

Thai Tea delish, kind of has a roasted or malted flavor which is great

Really good sushi! We didn't try the hibachi but there are more sushi options anyway. The sushi tasted fresh and came out pretty quickly. We ordered some sort of tempura roll with mango on it and an eel and tempura shrimp roll. Both were warm which was so enjoyable. We also got a melon soda and a Thai iced tea which were great. Sushi was reasonably priced but some other items on the menu looked a little more expensive. The dessert menu was also pretty expansive although we didn't get to try it since we were full. I'm taking one star away because our server had her fingers in the little soy sauce bowls when she placed them on the table. The bowls were empty but it made me not want to use them.

The sushi here is good and service is fast which is nice but for the price you get very small pieces. They have a lunch special that seems more worth the money if you get 3 rolls for $17. Regardless, the sushi was fresh and tasty so I would recommend trying out SAKA.

Big fan of this place, the sushi consistently impresses with high-quality fish. Although the rolls are a bit small for the price, the incredible flavors make it worthwhile.

Love Saka so much! Teresa who owns Saka once said that her focus was always good food and a place for people to come together. She achieved it 100%. The sushi is arguably the same or better as some of their more expensive competitors but the atmosphere is so much warmer and friendlier. Saka is one of my favourite places for a casual weeknight sushi fix (great combo offers) or a dinner out with friends. Make sure to get a reservation for weekend nights because the business is booming! If you're serious about supporting women-owned businesses, Saka is your spot.

Very good! We dined in last week and loved it. The service was excellent and so was the food! We loved Teresa, she was so kind and friendly. We ordered pork gyoza to start ($6.50) - little small but good! We then ordered avocado salad ($7) very good!! Red dragon roll ($17) and Maki combo choice D ($23)- we got to select 3 rolls of choice and it came with miso soup. Love this option- we ordered eel cucumber, salmon mango, and shrimp avocado. We also ordered chicken fried rice ($17)- very good! Would absolutely recommend!

The food was amazing, and the service was great. I will definitely come back to eat here again.

    Cartilage in tuna

Underwhelming and overpriced. I got the chirashi, which was $30 - pricey but I'm willing to pay for a good chirashi assortment. This certainly was not - 3 salmon, 3 tuna (poorly sliced, with cartilage), 3 fluke, 3 white tuna (gross), 1 kani cut in half, 1 small shrimp, 2 tamago, 2 radishes and an excess of shiso leaves which tasted off. For this price you should typically see something premium (ikura, uni, or maybe an oyster). Or at least some yellowtail. Sheesh. Very disappointing. Will not return.

I guess I like to have a little spiciness in my soup and we didn't choose the spicy Tonkotsu instead. -Pan-fried Vegetable Gyoza - I thought it was good but my kids said it was ok. -Chicken Katsu Curry Rice plate - my son said it was ok but he didn't finish it. -Tan Tan Ramen - broth was very good and plenty of ingredients The one thing I don't like is thin ramen noodles but that's me. The menu kind of reflects this struggle too, as it can't seem to decide if it wants to offer more traditional Japanese sushi-ya fare or something more innovative. As a result, we kind of wound up with the middling middle with our choice of 4 specialty rolls: 1) Saku: Probably the best and most traditional of our rolls with salmon and avocado inside, and ponzu, chives and crispy shallots on the outside. 2) Lobster: Not enough lobster salad inside to justify the overuse of miso-yuzu mayo, and just a whole ton of filler nonsense going on outside wrapped in pink soy paper. 3) Drop It Like Its Hot: Not spicy enough to justify the cute name. This should've been an easy slam dunk in flavor, but everything felt kind of bland and flat. Maybe due to the lack of nori. 4) Crunch Drunk Love: Lots of fish, but again, not enough flavor. We also got the Edamame with Spicy Miso Butter, which was just OK--the butter was weirdly sour. I wouldn't order it again. In fact, I....wouldn't really order anything here again.

And the sauce they came with was too sweet, i prefer more of a sweet chili sauce. Also, they were a little undercooked, not enough crisp. The sushi rolls were all fantastic. The broth was rich and flavorful; it contained tender strips of white meat chicken, shitake mushrooms, and a handful of other vegetables. It was fantastic and definitely worth ordering again. The pair made for the perfect late evening meal to tide me over until the next day.
