Robongi's lunch special is from 11am-4pm on weekdays. You have a choice between 2 or 3 rolls and it comes with a soup or salad. All the fish tasted super fresh and the fish-to-rice ratio was on point! I loved the salmon avocado and spicy tuna; those are 2 classics I tend to get wherever a lunch special is offered. I also got the spicy scallop which came at an up-charge. A lot of places don't offer this so I didn't mind the additional $2. Flavor-wise, I actually enjoyed it a lot but there was a lot of tempura crunch when I would have preferred it to be all scallop. The miso soup had a rich umami flavor but not much tofu in it. Good quality, reasonably priced, and super fast service!

Frankly, the best thing we had was non-ramen: both the Tsukune (chicken meatball) and Momo (chicken thigh) skewers were juicy and packed with flavor. But the only sticks I like with my ramen are chopsticks.
