Ordered a variety of different types of sushi from here for delivery at my friend's house. The sushi was fresh and tasty. The rolls were average to large size, but expensive. I would not say this was the best sushi I've ever had, but it hit the spot for my sushi craving. I would order again, but I'm not sure this would be my go to sushi spot.

Always had a good experience here since they opened! I've dined in and gotten take out! Speciality rolls are good and the quality is good. Would recommend! They do have limited tables inside so wouldn't recommend larger parties. Overall would recommend.

The sashimi was some of the best I have ever had: large portion of extremely fresh fish (like melts in the mouth fresh!). Huge selection of rolls and the three that we got were very good! Surf and turf was actually delicious and would 10/10 buy again! Service was excellent, not a single dirty dish sat on the table for more than a minute or two. Wish we had room for dessert, the shaved ice looked beautiful. Will definitely be back to try one!

My wife and I were looking to get sushi for lunch, and we happened to drive by this spot and saw the "Grand Opening" sign. They have such good lunch special options! We got two lunch specials that was $15.95 each. The waitress was very kind and friendly, and the food came out quickly too. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. The special roll we got, Boston and Alaskan rolls were delicious. Unlike other places that require you to dine in to take advance of the lunch specials, this place lets you take it out as takeout.

A great spot for fast, casual sushi! I recommend getting the combo options if you are looking to get a little bang for your buck. Customer service was great.

Great sushi, as fresh as it gets! Customer service was really good too... Our servers were awesome!

Saka has a solid offer of Any 3 Rolls for ~$20. Their selection of rolls is more limiting than other places; would love if they had yellowtail or scallop as options at lunch. Nonetheless, the rolls I got were solid! The fish was fresh and the portion was great, the rice layer wasn't thick at all which is a big factor for me, and to my surprise, it came with both a miso soup & salad. The miso soup was pretty flavorful compared to others I've had and the salad came with a sesame dressing that was so refreshing with the crisp salad. I should've kept my order at that as the Crispy Spicy Salmon wasn't worth it. The crispy rice was slightly too hard/over-fried and the portion of spicy salmon was so tiny. The rice layer should be fully topped with salmon, unlike what they gave. It didn't taste half bad but I'd probably skip it next time. If you order for delivery, their insulated packaging is great for transport and temperature control. Solid try!

We chose the salmon avocado, spicy tuna, and Philadelphia rolls. And we got it with the salad. The salad dressing was amazing, definitely up there with the best of the Japanese salad dressings. The rolls were great as well. Very stuffed with not too much rice and tasted very fresh. The spicy tuna maki was a little spicy for me but not anything crazy. We also got crab rangoons and those were also fantastic. Also very stuffed and sweet. And the sauce they came with was a little spicy, very good too. Overall, very impressed with our first dine out in Hoboken. We will definitely be back.

The menu kind of reflects this struggle too, as it can't seem to decide if it wants to offer more traditional Japanese sushi-ya fare or something more innovative. As a result, we kind of wound up with the middling middle with our choice of 4 specialty rolls: 1) Saku: Probably the best and most traditional of our rolls with salmon and avocado inside, and ponzu, chives and crispy shallots on the outside. 2) Lobster: Not enough lobster salad inside to justify the overuse of miso-yuzu mayo, and just a whole ton of filler nonsense going on outside wrapped in pink soy paper. 3) Drop It Like Its Hot: Not spicy enough to justify the cute name. This should've been an easy slam dunk in flavor, but everything felt kind of bland and flat. Maybe due to the lack of nori. 4) Crunch Drunk Love: Lots of fish, but again, not enough flavor. We also got the Edamame with Spicy Miso Butter, which was just OK--the butter was weirdly sour. I wouldn't order it again. In fact, I....wouldn't really order anything here again.

I'm not the biggest fan of cream cheese in my roll so my least favorite was the Philadelphia roll. I ordered a peach iced tea. The service was great and attentive. When we walked in without a reservation we were able to be seated right away as it wasn't busy. As we started to eat our rolls, the restaurant did get busier with time. Dates and families coming in for their dinner. I have to be honest and say the shrimp shumai wasn't all that special but overall the presentation of the sushi and taste was pretty good. The shumai tasted okay to me, I have had better elsewhere and they looked different. They were tiny. All in all, I would come back and recommend this restaurant to sushi lovers. 10/10 restaurant recommendation.

Since the restaurant iis known for sushi and pasta (and steak), I decided to try one of their Lincoln Harbor rolls which had crab, bluefin tuna, avocado, and wasabi yuzu. It had a kick to it and the fish was very fresh. I also had a side of the lobster mac and cheese, which was creamy and filled with lobster.
