While on business, my client and his wife who live a few blocks from Saku suggested this as a great place for dinner. They were not wrong a wonderful little restaurant right in the middle of Hoboken with drink specials, her bottle of sake was half price in addition to our plate of mixed rolls. We also had the seaweed salad, which was quite tasty. All the food was bursting with flavor and very fresh. Great restaurant and wonderful experience.

Cute ambiance if you get seated in the room on the right! Drinks are interesting but the sushi is not the best. We tried a bunch of items off the menu and were not pleased with anything..

Calling all sushi lovers! If you haven't checked out Saku Hoboken, I highly recommend you make a reservation to experience their incredible sushi and cocktails. The menu has an extensive sushi selection. It was really hard to narrow down a choice because all of the options looked great. There are a decent amount of raw and cooked roll options. The cocktails are fun and tasty. I loved how Saku was decorated with beautiful paintings of cherry blossoms. I would recommend making a reservation because this place was hopping on a Saturday night. Great service and food. Definitely will be back!

Wanted sushi and went to Saku on a whim. We sat at the bar and the bartender greeted us promptly. We bitch got drinks and I would highly suggest the lychee martini with gin it was excellent. We got the fried chicken bao buns and yellowtail jalapeño appetizer. The fried chicken tasted like a frozen boneless chicken but and all 3 bao buns itself were split before they even got to me. The yellowtail jalapeño were fine but nothing to write home about. I got two sushi rolls. They were both pretty good and tasted super fresh. The wait time to get the rolls was long though. It then took forever to get our check and aftwrwards. We weren't in a rush that night so it didn't bother me too much but if I was I could see how we would become annoyed. Overall, the sushi here was super tasty and fresh. I don't think that I would come back here though due to the long service time and the food not being spectacular enough to justify it.

Have seen many pictures of this place and looked like a perfect date night spot. Loved the ambiance but unfortunately cannot say this place lived up to the hype for us. The fish was very fresh but in our opinion it was very much overpriced. We got two drinks - they were good. From appetizers we got the o toro roll, crispy rice, salmon Ikura hand roll, and Lobster Egg Rolls. The crispy rice was burnt on the outside and so mushy and sticky on the inside - that kind of killed the experience for us. The hand rolls were served on a mushy seaweed paper as well which was unfortunate. The Lobster Egg Rolls were okay, but the o toro roll was very good! We also go the omakase Omakase Dinner for 2. The fish was fresh, but if you want any kind of variety I wouldn't recommend this. You get the same kind of fish in your rolls, the sashimi and sushi pieces. Overall, a solid 3 out of 5 star experience - fish is fresh but experience is not worth the price point.

Wife has been wanting to come here so we finally made time to go into Hoboken. Food: the food was outstanding. She really enjoyed the Honey, I'm Sprung cocktail. The Crunch Drunk Love and Drop It Like It's Hot rolls were a great compliment to the flavorful Lobster Egg Rolls. The selling point for me was the Fatty Salmon sushi, easily the best piece of salmon I have ever had minus fresh caught from Alaska. Aesthetic: inside it looks like an Instagram heaven, outside on a beautiful night like tonight it is quaint and elegant. Service: our waitress Britney was outstanding, very attentive, super polite, and running around making sure everyone was good.

Beautiful spot and lots of service but food is just okay for the price. It was $125 for 4 people and we got one app to share, and a meal and a half each but it was like all the food was on the plate and looked beautiful but not real depth of flavor or taste. Lots of shrimp and fish serving but limited flavor. Lobster rolls were over friend and udon noodles for drunken noodle? Not sure...Yuzu lemonade was nice!

The sushi here is alittle gimmicky. Caters to the younger vibe. Restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and cute place for a date. However this place is more flavor on flavor on flavor, which Is a bit much for me. We started with the garlic edamame. Good heat but the edamame was over cooked, not to my liking. Then we shared three rolls: Drop it like it's hot: my favorite. Spicy tuna and salmon with fresh jalapeño. Drunk crunch roll: also good, lots of fish in it Saku: had sweet mango drizzle which I was not a fan. They gave so little wasabi and ginger. Like the tiniest amount so you have to ask for extra. Overall, fine. Would like to explore further elsewhere before coming back. Cute restaurant though

The service was terrible yall. MOOD A real cute place. There's fake flowers hanging from the ceiling and nice warm lighting inside. Big date vibes. Too bad the service didn't match :/ FOOD Food was decent! I'd give 4/5 if it weren't for the service. We only got rolls, which tended to be on the smaller side. One of us got the beet roll and it was kinda like a Vietnamese spring roll minus any meat. We also got the Shishito bombs to start and it came in a huge portion tbh. The three of us couldn't even finish it hahaha. They were 3/5. It was the spicy mayo that made it. 'TUDE All right... Food took 5EVER to come. We got our appetizers pretty late and the sushi took a looooong time... so I asked "Where's our sushi?" and the waitress said "Oh we were waiting for you guys to finish the appetizer." Huuuuhhh?? Sis it was huge. And I'd expect them to ask us whether we wanted to eat everything separately. Whatever. So there were a few times after where we really had to WAVE DOWN someone to help us. They also have an extra credit card charge 2.99%. If you pay cash or debit it's waived though. But we paid debit and they didn't waive it... and yardi know it took ages to have them come correct it. Oh and at the end, some workers were lounging in the exit and hella blocking the way out. They just looked at me when I asked to get through. Bro what...

I came here awhile back when it was still chilly out and the only thing to keep us warm dining outside was lots of saki. I had dinner here with a friend I hadn't seen in a longgggg time and this was the perfect spot to order a ton of food and catch up. We ordered *inhales* Spicy Tuna Gyoza, Drunken Noodles, Shrimp Shumai, Spicy Tuna and Eel Avocado Rolls *exhales. Everything was so wonderful. The drunken noodles were by far my favorite and oh my gosh the portion was gigantic. The sushi was also spectacular and very fresh with a great fish/rice ratio. It was A LOT of food and we couldn't finish it all but they were able to box up the leftovers no problem. Our waiter was really kind and service was super quick. We sat out in their heated parklet, which was at times not very heated, but did the trick and had a great dinner! We also got two bottles (but not bottles? It came in a carafe of some kind. It was warm and delicious and I never get saki but it was just what we needed. I can't wait to come back and see the inside. This is a perfect spot for a special date night or just a nice dinner out in Hoboken.

We thought mini golf was interactive, everyone had the same chance to play and it's simple enough without exerting too much energy (unlike an escape room or the dancing tiles which I also came across in my research). Great place for friends, families, dates of all ages. We checked in on the ground floor (also have a coat check here) and were told they have a cabin themed course on the 2nd floor and a museum themed course on the 3rd floor, but there was a party going on. They also told us about the rooftop lounge, which is covered with plastic and they have heaters blasting the space. We went with the cabin themed. Although I don't think they completely blocked the 3rd floor with the party, we just didn't want to have to compete with others and wanted a quiet experience. They have stairs or an elevator. Once we got to the 2nd floor, we were the only ones there and were explained how the digital scoring works. We inputted our names, and our scoreboard would follow us from board to board in sequence after we all punched in our scores. The max was 6 putts per course to help keep things moving (we definitely played more than 6 on some courses lol). The courses did progressively get more challenging as you moved on. The decor was beautiful. Fairy lights lined the space with murals or a ski lodge/mountains around with a polar bear and a ski mobile. Many cute photo ops. On the last course, once you made it, the game swallowed your ball, I guess to help prevent you from trying to play the course again. I wish there was more than 9 courses though. It was fun enough but maybe having a few more would have helped fill the time more. Time flew by and we had lots of laughs. Would be excited to come back to try the museum course next time.

I booked a social package that included 90 minutes of reserved seating, one round of mini golf, and a $25 food or drink voucher per person. When we arrived, we were given tickets for mini golf, but the staff seemed unsure about how the food and drink vouchers worked. After some back-and-forth, we learned the vouchers could only be used on the second floor, and if used for drinks, there was only one option available -- a blue rum drink with coconut. Unfortunately, the drink missed the mark for me and my friends, and the recipe could definitely use some improvement. We were also never shown where our reserved seating was, which was disappointing. That said, I had an amazing group of friends, and we still made the night a lot of fun. We played the Lodge course on the second floor, which is their most challenging course and beautifully decorated. I also loved the tablet that kept score for us -- it was a great touch. The rooftop area is another highlight: it's heated and really enjoyable during the winter. Overall, while the atmosphere and mini golf were fun, I wouldn't book a party package again -- it wasn't worth the cost. Next time, I'd just pay for mini golf directly.
