Came to this bar for a DJ event, and really liked the ambiance and seating. Their highball shot was delicious. The center high tables are really conducive to convo, and I'd definitely come back to try the hand rolls.

The cocktail menu sounded better than how the cocktail tasted. The atmosphere was very energetic with the decor that reminded me of an izakaya in Japan. Although we didn't have a reservation, the host was happy to find a table for the four of us. However, the server was not the friendliest. When we asked to return a drink because it didn't taste good, she made us feel like we were being unreasonable. Now onto the drink, for someone that frequents cocktail bars and speakeasies, I wasn't able to visualize what the cocktail would be based on the listed ingredients. And none of the drinks came out as expected and definitely not a bar that I would return to again.

Unique drinks and interesting decor. Casual ambiance. Staff was friendly. The cocktails featured unique ingredients, such as genmaicha, salted plum, miso, hokkaido milk cream, and pandan. I don't normally see these ingredients in cocktails, so I thought that was pretty cool. They tasted all right, a tad strong for my liking though. Our group also ordered a bunch of food to try and everything was so good! Everyone raved about the cabbage. I know it sounds like a boring choice, but it was super tasty and addictive! Definitely order a plate (or three!).

Modern western influenced Japanese bar with great drinks and friendly service. Came here on a Friday night ~10pm and definitely needed a reservation to get a table. Order - time after time (4.5/5) a bit overpowering; too much flavor competition - last dance (4.5/5)

Cute bar with a lot of character and yummy cocktails! I got their take on an espresso martini ("cafe cafe"), which I found much smoother and easier to drink than a standard martini. Prices are a bit steep (all cocktails I saw were $20+), but mine was delicious and I'd definitely come back to try more of their concoctions. Docking a star bc their seating in the center of the bar was comically uncomfortable. My entire group made comments about the thin wooden railing they used as a bench LOL. Maybe designed to get customers out as fast as possible? Our feet also couldn't reach the ground and there were no bag/coat hooks, so we were all playing footsie getting a foothold on the metal bar beneath the table and balancing our belongings in our laps.

Great bar located in Chelsea market. Drinks are really good. Didn't get to try any of the food but the vibes were great. They had a really friendly staff, great bartenders & an even better sound system.

Cocktails done right! Morning Glory tasted purely like dessert that all sweet-tooth lovers like me must get. Very creamy and delightful. The Unruly Pear V3 was not so much my taste but I can appreciate its craft and unique mix. Mainly giving 5 stars for the ambiance and interior. This place feels just as cool as you see it online. Had a very intimate feel but everyone definitely was dinf their own thing. Sound system was really great as well.

Came here on a Wednesday night around 8pm after attending an event nearby. It's a cute little quirky Japanese bar and it was surprisingly busy for a Wednesday night. My friend and I were offered to sit at one of their high top table or the bar. The seating at those high top tables did not look comfortable so we opted for the bar as they have bar stools that we can sit on. We ordered their gyudon, tots and maitake skewers. The gyudon was decent. The beef had a good balance of sweet, salty and umami flavor. The beef was tender and the egg yolk added a touch of creaminess when mixed together. The tots were perfectly fried, crunchy and nicely seasoned. The maitake skewers however, came a little cold and undercooked. The sauce was also a little salty and overpowering. Overall, it is a good options for an after dinner drink and snack in the area. The only thing is the restaurant has a DJ and music was very loud. It's very hard to chat and I found myself constantly yelling over the music so it's not a place you can relax.

***4.5 Stars*** Cool Japanese bar in Chelsea market. My wife and I finished an omakase dinner at Noz 17 and I wanted to check out another spot for a drink / snack before calling it a night. Pretty low key and informal. Not fancy whatsoever. Focused drink and food menu. Forgot what drinks I ordered, but they were good. For food we shared the Karaage and Addictive Cabbage. Food was good! I would return!

We walked in on a Tuesday night for happy hour. I tried the Saturday Spritz, Last Dance, kushiyaki, tots, and karaage. Sadly they didn't have the mentaiko mac, which sounded interesting. The cocktails were good and had nice garnishes. The karaage and tots were tasty and crunchy. Out of all the kushiyaki, the chicken and corn were my favorites. There's one bathroom but the large public restroom is also available. There were little bag hooks.

Food/drinks: We ordered 2 of their Asian-inspired cocktails, the Unruly Pear, a fruity and smoky concoction, and the Viewer Discretion Advised, a fun light affair. Both were solid drinks and go down smoothly. We also ordered some small bites, the karage and the mentaiko mac. Both the food offerings were delicious! The karage was freshly fried, tender, and juicy. Relatively traditional but executed well. The star of the night was the mentaiko mac. The pasta dish was so savory, cheesy, and creamy. I would definitely come back solely for the mac n cheese. Service: The bartender was chill and social, great person to chit chat with. Ambiance: Vibes were king. Just as the name suggests, the bar was tucked away between restaurants at Chelsea market. I love the speakeasy hidden vibes and reminded me of venturing through the cramped Tokyo alleys finding hidden gems here and there. The ambiance was intimate and cozy in a nostalgic but foreign way. The low glow of the red lights really helped to set the scene. What an awesome little secret.

Wow what a vibe! I stumbled into NYC on a Saturday and had no plans for dinner/night vibes. My group of 5 wandered into NBetween at Chelsea market around 8pm and luckily snagged a spot. Inside has great music and ambiance is a bit dark but still nice. Menu has many delicious sounding drinks. I got the seasonal mango chili salad and wow was it hot! It paired well with the savory food we ordered. We ordered the addictive cabbage (table's fave), eggplant (pass), tater tots (recommend) and the mentai Mac and cheese. I personally liked it for the crumbly and charred bits. The waiters were all super nice, and even the bouncer as well! I could tell they run a great establishment.

Checked out The N Between in NYC and honestly, the vibe here is on point. The lighting is super aesthetic, and one of the coolest parts is they play and mix actual records--it gives the place a unique, chill energy that's perfect for winding down with a couple drinks. We stopped by during happy hour and were told there'd be a wait--ended up being about 40 minutes, which wasn't too bad. Once seated, we ordered the Unruly Pear, which was light, crisp, and had a nice subtle pear flavor--kind of like a highball but elevated. I also tried the Café Café, which is like a Japanese espresso martini--super smooth, with the Haku vodka and Japanese coffee giving it a rich, bold flavor. Food-wise, we shared the flatiron steak (tender and flavorful), the zucchini (surprisingly one of the best table dishes), and the mentaiko mac (just okay--not bad, just not super standout). The only downside is that the lighting made it tough to get good food pics, but it really adds to the whole moody, relaxed vibe. If you can, try to grab seats at the bar--it's fun to watch the bartenders make drinks, and you get the full experience of their attention to detail.

My only two gripes with the spot were - they didn't acknowledge my birthday, even with a happy birthday from my server or the hostess. I am not sure why Resy prompted me to indicate the occasion if it wouldn't even be acknowledged or looked at. It obviously feels good to feel celebrated, so they dropped the ball in this regard. The second issue is it got sickeningly loud inside. This was a sunday night, and I ended up having to shout just to be heard by the girl right next to me. Everything else was good! Though there wasn't a dish that just blew my mind, everything was consistently really good and enjoyable. I recommended ordering a handful of dishes and sharing with a group. The cornstar martini was fun (and the popcorn was great!), the vodka pasta, caesar salad, and truff fries were enjoyable as well. The cute matchboxes were a cherry on top as we were leaving! I would come back for more of a going out event instead of a sit down dinner, but it's a cool spot!

We thought mini golf was interactive, everyone had the same chance to play and it's simple enough without exerting too much energy (unlike an escape room or the dancing tiles which I also came across in my research). Great place for friends, families, dates of all ages. We checked in on the ground floor (also have a coat check here) and were told they have a cabin themed course on the 2nd floor and a museum themed course on the 3rd floor, but there was a party going on. They also told us about the rooftop lounge, which is covered with plastic and they have heaters blasting the space. We went with the cabin themed. Although I don't think they completely blocked the 3rd floor with the party, we just didn't want to have to compete with others and wanted a quiet experience. They have stairs or an elevator. Once we got to the 2nd floor, we were the only ones there and were explained how the digital scoring works. We inputted our names, and our scoreboard would follow us from board to board in sequence after we all punched in our scores. The max was 6 putts per course to help keep things moving (we definitely played more than 6 on some courses lol). The courses did progressively get more challenging as you moved on. The decor was beautiful. Fairy lights lined the space with murals or a ski lodge/mountains around with a polar bear and a ski mobile. Many cute photo ops. On the last course, once you made it, the game swallowed your ball, I guess to help prevent you from trying to play the course again. I wish there was more than 9 courses though. It was fun enough but maybe having a few more would have helped fill the time more. Time flew by and we had lots of laughs. Would be excited to come back to try the museum course next time.

I love the fact that they have an actual tub on the bar and that one of the burlesque dancers actually used it for their performance. Overall it's the kind of place you need to have a cool crew with you because there isn't much interaction with any of the others in the place. But the vibe is cool and worth checking out. Bonus points to the staff that let us take pictures inside the bathtub!
