Who knew an oyster bar by day turns to a helluva party at night. I don't know about the food that's served during the day but the cocktails and vibes at night is where it's at. We came on a Saturday night, and it was crowded. I didn't think they would let us in even to hang around the bar area and we were a party of five. After 10 minutes of waiting at the bar, we got a tiny little table for our cute party. It's tight but enough wiggle room to stand and dance from where you are sitting. We each got a couple of drinks (I got bubbles and a cocktail, she got 2 cocktails) and 12 oysters to share. The oysters were sort of meh, which I guess is to be expected when they cost a dollar. They didn't taste that fresh/juicy and were pretty small in size. The drinks were ok, but also nothing memorable and at $14 felt pricey. All in all, I'm not mad to have tried this place out, but I don't think I'd be back. It's probably worth paying a little bit more and getting higher quality oysters. read more

Went on a Friday night for drinks and small bites. If you are looking for a fun, vibrant (loudish) time with friends this is the place for you. It's an intimate space, but feels big due to the energy of the crowd. There is a small bar upfront and then a bunch of tables in the back crammed with patrons. It's a super casual space, with a dolled up crowd, typical for the LES. A few of the tables were on dates. I had the matcha drink and Old Fashioned but were really good (not sure why I didn't expect that). Service was fine, you do have to chase people down when you need something, keep in mind if that's not your thing. The charcuterie board had two meats and three cheeses- small qty of each but was good to nosh on while we had drinks. Wowww I've been looking for a new $1 oyster spot and this HH is it. They have indoor and outdoor seating - inside is dark and mysterious. They'll give you popcorn as you order, and the HH menu is enticing, although the HH Drinks had a small selection. Their regular menu was tempting - so much that we ordered off their classic menu as well. Cocktails were strong and delicious. Really enjoyed the Espresso Martini.
