Veggie pho
Jazz M.

Super legit little family owned spot. I've tried almost all of the pho in Longmont and this place is the most authentic, both in flavor and experience. The veggie pho broth actually has flavor which seems to be hard to find in Longmont pho options. The chilli oil is fiiire, I mean be careful when you use it cuz it's HOT! The food arrives promptly and has been fresh and consistent each time I've visited. Don't be a whiney whitey and complain about the service, it's authentic and the family who owns the spot are sweet and kind.

What I got???!!!

huge disappointment! I've eaten here and had orders delivered but today was it for me. I ordered multiple items tonight including their WonTon soup as shown on their website. What I got was a container of yellow water!!! WTF? I called and they wouldn't correct. They refused to refund my order for the crap soup. Shame, I liked this place but not again

When a cold strikes there's nothing better than a hot bowl of pho. Unfortunately, when you're working in a town you don't frequent it can be difficult to find just the one. Well let me tell you: Saigon Xpress is it! Star #1: Every pho-natic knows that quality pho starts with quality broth. Saigon Xpress def delivers. Rich with flavor and loaded up with noodles, protein (rare steak in our case), onions, and the gamut of spices. Star #2: Portions are on point for the pricing. Though I think it's a little odd that they only offer a small or large size - skipping medium all together. The price difference is about $1 between the two. Star #3: Service is fast and efficient. Not a lot of chit-chat to be had here; making it a great stop for a shorter lunch break. Star #4: They offer a variety of other dishes including sandwiches, noodles, and more. All seem to be super authentic! ...The only drawback I saw was that they don't offer crab cheese wontons (which I was craving that day). Also when they dropped off our bill they didn't explain that we go up to the register to pay. So that made for a slight delay. Neither of which were that inconvenient. Given that I am frequenting the Longmont area more for work, I can safely say I'll be back to Saigon Xpress to satisfy my pho craving! Yay!

The chef's special curry with tofu is one of my favorite dishes anywhere. Fast friendly service. A bit pricey but worth it.

Boulder Pho and Boba Tea in Longmont - Boulder Pho Spring Rolls (Goi Cuon Dac Biet)

Boulder Pho and Boba Tea in Longmont

My kids and I went to Boulder Pho & Boba Tea because we were really craving a good bowl of pho, and…read moreoverall, they didn't disappoint. The broth was good, the noodles were good, and the service was friendly and attentive. We also really enjoyed the boba tea. Unfortunately, the biggest disappointment was the meat. Two of us ordered the cut that was supposed to be the most tender, and before ordering, we actually asked our waiter to confirm that we were choosing the most tender option. He assured us that we were. Unfortunately, the meat in both bowls was quite tough. This seems to be a recurring issue I've noticed with pho in this area. Compared with pho I've had in other places, the meat here tends to be cut much thicker and isn't nearly as tender. Maybe it's just a Colorado thing, but it's definitely something I wish local pho restaurants would improve. Thinly sliced, tender meat makes such a difference in a good bowl of pho. So, would we go back to Boulder Pho & Boba Tea? Probably not specifically for the pho. The broth and noodles were good, but the meat really took away from the experience for us. Would we go back for the boba tea? Absolutely. That was a definite highlight.
