Fried Gyoza (Pork Dumpling) and Shrimp Summer Roll
Kristin W.

We love this place. We have tried all the types of food they offer. For appetizers theist haves are the fried gyoza and shrimp summer roll. The #303 beef pho is delicious. The sushi special is a steal with 2 rolls and soup + salad for $16. The service is GREAT and staff is super attentive. Feels intimate yet casual.

Hot steaming bowl of Pho, great when it's cold outside ! The meaty pho of delicately spiced beef broth is enough to satisfy the most hungry person!

This is at the end of a strip mall. Nice decor and the dining rooms are in separate areas. Our server was amazing. She was bopping around to all the tables like speedy Gonzales and checked on us regularly. I had the chicken and steak hibachi and it comes with soup, salad, rice, noodles and vegetables. It was all delicious. I brought half home for tomorrow. They have Coke products but no Coke Zero

Good and fast food for you quick lunch. Combo comes with 2 rolls, house salad and onion soup, you cannot change those sides. Springs rolls was ok. Pho was good. Staff friendly.

Lots of parking. Restaurant well appointed and clean. Restroom clean. Service was impeccable and quick. Food quality top notch and tasty. Portions generous. Ambiance was mellow. A bit pricey but worth it. Definitely need to explore more of their menu. Strongly recommend.

Definitely fast food. The sashimi does not come with Rice on the side. The springs rolls may or may not have duck sauce on the side.

Place was good food and good service. The only complaint is that the sushi rolls were not rolled tight and just fell apart.

If you're into MSG's you'll enjoy. They use MSG in all of their food! I did not get it, nasty!! Get rid of the crap and MSG's!

We were looking for a Vietnamese restaurant in Ocala and came across this small, convenient place…read more It's just east of I75 off College RD between SE 27th AVE and HWY 200/College. It's a small, unpretentious but pleasant atmosphere. The staff is great. It doesn't have Banh mi sandwiches, which I was hoping for, but we ordered the bun tom nuang (vermicelli BBQ shrimp) and it was fantastic, and for a decent price.

For her it's good as the Pho's are gluten free. We also ordered the veg. Spring rolls with tofu (extra $1.50). We each had an order and they were very good. The dipping sauce for my wife was GF and tasty as was the peanut sauce. This all being said, we both felt that the Pho's were ok. We were hoping for a bit more flavor. The server didn't write the orders down and very typical as when not written, something is incorrect. She left off the fried onions from my Pho and had to request them. The goodies of basil, bean sprouts and items were a bit shy for us and after asking for more, the server brought more at no extra charge. Very nice! The food was sufficient and filled us up! Would we come back? Maybe not for a while. We were hoping for a bit more Pho flavor. We would give them 3.5 stars this time. Sorry....

We got the California roll, crunchy spicy tuna and paradise roll. Was this something ground breaking??? Not the sushi itself, but the delivery system..... heck yeah. The sushi was still great. The restaurant is spacious and happy hour has good options as well; especially for first timers wanting to try a few appetizers. the hand rolls are a generous portion. I loved their version of a dynamite roll. If you're a fan of the standard dynamite, this one may not be for you. We also had the sunrise roll. We enjoyed everything. The only thing I thought was just okay was the Rangoon cheese sticks. They weren't bad. I just don't have to order them again. When we're back in area out passing through, it'll be on our list for sure. This was our first stop in Mount Dora. It's a cute little town. We enjoyed ourselves.

Who knew I'd find comforting Vietnamese food across from the Speedway!…read more I had just flown into Daytona Beach and, after settling into my hotel room, I came to Mama's Kitchen for dinner. Right away, we were greeted by a young lady and gentleman, and were directed to sit at one of the tables. The restaurant was clean and spacious. They had a cute little Vietnamese cart in the middle of the restaurant to bring a bit of Vietnam into its design. They also had a wall with a beautiful drawing. We ordered a few things from their menu, starting off with egg rolls and Bahn Mi with sweet potato fries. Whatever dip it came with was delicious - and that's coming from someone who doesn't like the orange sweet potatoes! We also ordered entrees such as their Bo Kho and Bo Ne. Both stews were delicious. For drinks, we had a Tamarind drink and a Kumquat drink - both of which were refreshing. Overall, I really liked the food here. And the decor was simple and the service was attentive. The gentleman who brought our food out was also very careful with making sure there were no peanuts in any of our dishes. I'd love to come back here again on my next visit and try a new dish!

Ate at this restaurant during September 2026 on a weekend during the dinner hour. The business was…read morenot very busy at the time. My wife ordered the "Pho Mama" and I ordered the "Bo Ne". We did not order any beverages other than water. The service was very slow and I almost got up to remind our server that we had ordered food and were still waiting. I sampled my wife's pho and found it had a good flavor. The tendon and tripe were over cooked and a bit mushy. The other meats were cooked ok. The plate of condiments (bean sprouts, basil and peppers) were very skippy. At $18, I felt the Pho needed to be better. At $20, the Bo Ne lacked in a few areas and following this dining experience I probably wouldn't order it again. First off, I ordered this dish because it looked good and from the picture. On the menu it says "Vietnamese beef tenderloin" on the menu. The dish I was served looked much different than what I saw on the menu. The pickled carrots and radish must of had the day off on this night. Back to the tenderloin. In my years as a chef, I will tell you that there is only one piece of meat that is more tender than any other cut of meat from the cow and that is the tenderloin. What was served me was closer related to a tough cut or sirloin that tightened up so much when cooked, that every piece of meat I had to chew and chew to get past the grizzle. Once chewed, I needed to remove the meat from my mouth. See picture of the bread basket for the remnants of their so called beef tenderloin. The sauce that the meat was swimming in had a good taste. The liver pate was bland and was melting away into the sauce of the dish. One positive note about the experience is that the bread was superb! We may go back again sometime in the future but not any time soon.
