Comparing the Pho from what I'm used to here in San Diego, the pho here is flavorful without the salty taste. Good amount of meat for a small bowl. We also ordered the beef wrapped shrimp and it was wonderful. The owner Kenny was very nice and friendly, he talked to us for a long time. Staff were not rude, but dont expect the typical friendly and chatty waiter/waitress from American restaurants. Water was on fancy wine glass, the place was clean. I love the pho here. That's not the problem. The servers are very rude. Me and my friend split the bill, he payed on card and left a good tip. Then I paid my portion in cash and didn't tip since my friend left a 5 dollar tip on a 20 dollar meal (in total). Best. Food. Ever. Saigon Basil was highly recommended by my pedicure lady, and she has never let us down with her suggestions. We just moved from NW Denver to Thornton and wanted a new Asian restaurant to try out. We ate there twice in one week, it's that good. The owner and staff are VERY friendly, the food is the best I've ever had! I am now on a mission to try every dish at least once. This restaurant is good. The noodles I've had are good, both the rice noodles and egg noodle soups were really good. The decor and design of the whole place is lovely and nicely done. It has a very welcoming vibe.This place is big. You can have some sort of party here for friends or family at a good restaurant. Their mango smoothie was amazing! It was really good! It was so good I could finish it, that's how good. You want I finish it. One reason why this restaurant did not receive a 5 star review because I picked up my chop sticks and I found a hard residue on them. It was disgusting and strange because this restaurant lays out the utensils on the table all ready to go. Another reason why, my family was catering for a party and we asked for a type of noodles for a value of $30 dollars. That was the first it was full and it had a nice proportion so we came back to cater for another party. Same value, yet the proportions got less and less. Was invited to eat here with a couple of friends. We had an apparently off-menu (at least not that I could find) baked fish meal where we make our own spring rolls with leafy vegetables, rice noodles, and baked catfish. My friend ordered it a day in advance. It was so good, that I ordered one myself for my graduation dinner with my family a week later. They loved it as well! My dad is a big fish guy and we make a similar dish at home on special occasions, and he was impressed with this. To top it off, the service was great! read more

This is the best Vietnamese restaurant I have ever been to (and I have been to a lot!). The food is always fresh and deliciously seasoned. My favorite is the rice noodle bowl with grilled pork...I don't know what they marinate the pork in, but it is just wonderful. My husband likes the shrimp dishes. We sometimes get the #52, which we call the "Plate o'Meat"...pork, shrimp, pork chops, chicken...and an egg! All heaped on top of rice...you might want to order a side of steamed veggies to go with this all-protein extravaganza. We split this...or you would have plenty to take home. They don't actually have any desserts, but we usually get the avocado shake...so creamy and delicious! Not too fond of boba, but you can get it without. Also comes in many other unusual fruit flavors. They can get very busy on weekends, so best to come on a weeknight, or early on Friday or Saturday. Closed Sunday. read more

My friends and I came for lunch on a weekday. It was pretty dead. There was maybe 3 other tables with customers. We put in our order. 20 minutes went by and still no food. The waiter didn't come by in that time either. Finally by 30 minutes we asked the waiter. He said the rice needed to be cooked. If they knew it would take that long, why wouldn't they come by and ask if we wanted something that took less time? By the time it came out, the noodles in the pho for one order was hard and stuck together in a ball. My "fresh" chicken tasted like store bought chicken. Even at the counter to pay they were still rude to us when we complained about the wait time. Had I known I would have to wait this long and be treated like this, I would've gone to a fast food place. Never coming back. read more

They have a very wide variety of Vietnamese dishes with three or four pages to choose from. With this much variety it is hard not to find something you will like. They especially have a wide range of dishes with seafood and they do not skimp on the portions. Very good experience every time and I highly recommend them. read more

This is a nice restaurant and I've been coming here since they had their grand opening. Unfortunately, the past times I've eaten here in the span of 6 months have been poor. They are either super busy with customers and service is slow-which is completely understandable. But recently, when the customer flow is slow, they are providing poor service. I had to wait over 30 minutes for a bowl of pho, when there was only about 5 other tables there with me. I should have known service was going to be slow when I was seated and it took over 20 minutes for a server to come over and take my order. I really like eating here, but apparently since they are pulling customers, they quality of service has went down. I wish they would fix this problem because I do enjoy eating here. But until they pick up their service, I won't be coming here again anytime soon. read more

First time here. Amazing. I told the waitress I am allergic to eggs. The chef said I could order what I want, he would make mine with out eggs. With the exception of wontons because the pastry already had egg in it. The scallop stir fry I got was so flavorful, and masterfully cooked. About $12 and enough leftover for lunch tomorrow. This place may have some what good food. But their service is absolutely awful! When we were there they rudely asked us what we wanted after 29 minutes. At this time we still didn't even get our water. Then we finally got our food, and some H2O. They didn't even come back to our table once. They're service SUCKS, and whoever owns the restaurant needs to train their employees "manners" and waiter/waitressing etiquette. They came to every table on our wall besides ours to refill customers waters. We were out of water for the ENTIRE time, so my friends literally walked up IN front of them, grabbed some jugs of water off of their counter, and refilled THE CUSTOMERS. OUR own water cups, and we left the jugs at our table. We also never even got our tab, and also needed to go containers. We had to walk up to the front, ask for to go containers, and OUR CHECK. Been here twice and Ill prefer the first visit compared to the 2nd only because they took a long time to get us menus/orders. On my first visit i came alone and ordered a combination pho bowl. I had be I also ordered a combination plate to go which i think is the best buck for food. The 2nd time i came, I came with the wife. We were seated and waited a good 5-10 mins before a waitress came to give us a menu. Wife ordered the chicken pho and i again ordered the combination plate. I tasted the broth of the chicken pho and that was good, she said it was one of the better chicken pho she's had in colorado. read more

Inexpensive, delicious food, in a gorgeous upscale place. The outside might be a strip mall, but inside is a clean, light, bright, soothing modern interior. Water comes in wine glasses, fresh flowers on the tables, classical music you can carry on a conversation with, and RELAX. The first place I've sat, looked around, relaxed, and slowly savored every bite of my food, with great service on top of everything else. The reason I'm leaving only 2 stars is due to their customer service. My husband and I had gone for dinner last night. We got numbers 52 and 140 on the menu. We enjoyed the food. When we were placing our order we asked to substitute noodles for rice and the waiter pretended to not understand us. Also one of the other waitresses was short with us. Customer service is very important to me, and when you do a poor job of it I don't care how good the food is, you lose my business. read more
