WORST Sahara EVER! Always randomly closed for delivery and horrible customer service!

The only thing to order there is the bacon cheese bread. We tried them many times and can't say we were ever happy

Great. Pizza! The servers are kind and friendly. I like the clean and friendly. I am always happy, relaxed and in my happy place.

I live in Southern California and my uncle lives in Winlock. It was his 95th Birthday and he wanted pizza from Sahara pizza. I ordered it over the phone from Southern California and the young woman who help me was very gracious and polite. They made it special for him by even writing on the box happy birthday. I ordered wings to go with the pizza and I understand they were absolutely delicious. I wish I could've been there to enjoy the meal with him. Staff is nice, Pizza box has some cool art work. I also really like the name of this place. BUT, the pizza, sad to say is not good. The sauce seems like it comes from a can, thin and lacking flavor. The crust is very blah. Pizza should be rich with flavor. If I were the owner I'd redo the way you make pizzas. You need a new sauce and crust recipe. I called for delivery, the person on the phone was very friendly and helpful, gave me an accurate wait time. They offer a lot of different toppings that you can't find anywhere else. They also have gluten-free crust. The delivery driver was polite. The pizza was nothing to look at, but it tasted really good! They're not the least expensive place in town, but you do get what you pay for. I would recommend them, if you're tired of the other chain pizza. read more

I thought my experience was great! I ordered pizza from Sahara tonight and I was very satisfied. I'm just traveling through and staying at one of the newer hotels right off the freeway. They delivered on time, as they quoted. The pizza was hot and delicious, they gave me all the things I asked for (peppers and parm, green peppers, etc) they offered plates/ napkins since I was in a hotel. I got a big garlic chicken pizza (garlicky, cheesy, with big chunks of onion and chicken), family size salad (peppers, onions, carrots, red cabbage, cherry tomatoes, romaine), dessert pizza (apple, frosting, goodness) (YUM) and I tipped $6 ... total coast around $40 ... not too expensive in my opinion. No, this place isn't offering two topping greasy pizzas for $5.99 ... but I won't judge if that's what you're in the mood for :) read more

Bought an overpriced pizza here tonight for dinner with my family. It tasted all right, but we all ended up puking and/or sh°tting the pizza back out in less than an hour. The best delivery pizza in Lewis County. I use them frequently and the quality is higher than average for delivery pizza. My advice is that you ask for specials when you call. They don't volunteer them unless you ask, and they can save you money. They are a little more expensive than the competition but entirely worth it. read more

Received the worst food I've ever received from any restaurant my whole life, Ordered a personalized pizza half Chicken bacon ranch & FireBird with a side of BBQ boneless chicken wings. When the food was finally delivered after an hour when the restaurant is not even a mile away from my work. The Chicken wings were burnt covered in disgusting burnt sauce and the whole bowl was full of Nickel sized pieces of charcoal, the chicken bacon ranch half of the pizza was bland and had no taste to it. I called the pizza place and the manager started going off at my raising his voice saying "That's how the chicken wings are done always and I don't have the time to make sure every order is perfect and not burnt" That was his excuse of serving the worst food in Chehalis. Let me start by saying I was really excited to find a hometown pizza restaurant that also delivers. I really wanted some chicken wings tonight too. I asked specifically that they were well done, crispy, overcooked or however you want to say it. I just wanted to make sure my chicken wasn't pink. Of course, the cashier said no problem. I also ordered one of their specialty pizzas. They arrived on time but they were both under cooked. I called just to explain the fact that I had asked for my chicken to be well done and that it wasn't. The manager told me they have no way of cooking chicken "anymore well done" than it is originally prepared. At that point I told her I just wanted to let her know that I didn't get what I wanted. She said "okay thanks." Okay rant over; This place had really mediocre food and poor service. read more

Look no further than Sahara Pizza for the best pizza in the Twin Cities, and I can say this after having eaten at Papa Pete's, PJ's Pizza and other local joints. These guys are top-notch. They're running Foursquare specials on occasion, which is practically unheard of here in Centralia and Chehalis. Kudos to the owners for branching out and reaching a younger audience. The Chehalis location is quirky in that they have no soda or water machine, thus one must ask for a water glass and make way to a bottled water dispenser...or if you're in the mood for soda, they do sell two-liter bottles. Nothing wrong with that, just a quirk. The staff is friendly, conversational and neat. Great people. Try a large Sahara, and if you check into the location on Foursquare they'll hook you up with free fresh breadsticks. Pile on the marinara and it's a delightful prelude to some delicious pizza. Best pizza in town. Make the drive from I-5 and hit 'em up...I highly recommend Sahara. They also have a location in Napavine on Hwy. 603 in the light shopping complex by Ace Hardware, by the way. Pizza was average quality at a pretty good price. Greek salad was good, but maybe a little over-priced for what you get. Delivery took almost an hour and pizza was warm, still, but not hot when it arrived. Overall, there are better and faster options for pizza in this area. read more

Absolutely horrible! Customer service is terrible and pizza is almost as bad as getting a wal mart take'n'bake. The owners are morons and that's being kind. You must speak slowly when speaking to them and they do not understand the concept of being kind and polite to the customer. It's obvious where the associates get the attitude from. read more

This is basically the only pizza place in Chehalis. It was okay, it wasn't anything special. Kinda of pricey for the quality really. We were camping down the road and came into town for a meal that didn't need a fire and ended up here and boy were we happy we did. The very pleasant girl met us at the desk (turns out she is the daughter of the owners) and answered all our questions. We ended up getting the garlic twisty bread and it only lasted seconds as it was amazing. We then went on to the four cheese decadence and herbivore pizzas and they were both well loved by everyone, which ranged from adult pizza snobs to finicky kids. It was fantastic. read more

Pretty expensive for the quality of the pizza. We ordered an extra large Garlic Chicken and Jungle Veg. The crust was super thin that you couldn't pick up the slice and the sauce was very bland and greasy. Definitely wasn't impressed, especially for over $50 for two pizzas and a soda. Kind, flexible, and accommodating service! We had pizza delivered to our hotel, and the delivery driver kindly waited a few extra minutes while we were stuck in traffic. We ordered a Tiki Tiki pizza and Cesar salad. Both were delicious and exactly what we needed after a long hike. We ordered from the Chehalis Sahara Pizza and the person on the phone was very polite and very helpful. It was our first time ordering from them. The delivery person was very nice and polite as well. Where to start..well, the employees here seem disengaged. I over heard them making fun of customers that called in for delivery. One employee wouldn't stop complaint about his hours and the boss..it was rather rude. They only sell 2 litter bottle soda but have a soda machine. The pizza itself is ok at best. Tonight I ordered a large size herbivore pizza add bacon with white sauce I paid $25 for the pizza and give a five dollar tip to the driver when I got the pizza I looked at it and there was cooked tomatoes on the pizza when I specified I would like the tomatoes uncooked and on the side. I had called to speak with the manager about this issue and trust me I can be rude however this time I took my time and had patients and spoke with the manager about my issue after I had told her about my issue she clearly stated to me oh well there is nothing we're going to do for you and I said I don't think that's right because I paid for my Pizza and it is wrong. I asked for her name and it was Elyse. She said I "my name is Elise and I'm the fucking manager! And I said are you seriously talking to me like that what is the name of the owner I said. She then went on to tell me I could go fuck myself and hung up the phone. I then called the place again and tomorrow I will be going into speak with the owners to file a complaint again this is the worst customer service I've ever seen in my life and trust me I've seen a lot of it as I am a server at a very established restaurant in the county I cannot believe this place. Can I give them no stars? Sahara pizza is a sad excuse for pizza and an even worse representation of authentic Italian pizza, they should not be labeled as Italian. The only New York feeling I get in here is that I am being extorted because the price is so ridiculous. It baffles me the price of the pizza for a medium that cost $20+, I have never paid so much for one pie-I have bought 2 (AUTHENTIC and DELICIOUS) large pizzas two topping for $20 total and that seems like the right price to me. The bread is reminiscent of a arcade or bowling alley pizza crust, the sauce is acidic and tastes like freshly canned, cheese rubbery and some unmelted, pizza FLOPPY- I have to cook the pizza myself EVERYTIME (3 times now) to make it so that my toppings to not all droop off the pizza. The pizza is too fancy for its own good, who puts zucchini on pizza except uneducated pizza makers from the west coast? You ruin pizza by putting alfredo sauce on it, WHITE SAUCE???????????? Why??? WHY??? After this time I will never be getting pizza there again, I will make my own if that is the case of pizza in the Twin Cities. If you have any tastebuds at all, and care about the authenticity of your pizza experience, please make your own or go to Olympia where better (still not great)pizza can be had. Or better yet, travel to the east coast and taste a real pie, then come to the west coast and start your own pizza place that is good in Chehalis to kick out Sahara. read more

Love their pizza. The only quality pizza place in the Chehalis - Centralia area and they deliver almost anywhere. The ingredients are fresh along with the dough made daily. They are a little more expensive compared to chain pizza places but it's definitely not comparable. Only suggestions would be a little better seating area and more smaller combo deals. read more
