Excellent little lunch. Yes, it's expensive for what it is but aside from that, we enjoyed our meal. The calamari fritti was amazing. Fried calamari with fried strips of thinly cut zucchini and Pickled bell peppers. We enjoyed it immensely. $17 good? Not for the portion. BUT I'd get it again. The pizza wasn't the best we've ever had but it was good. Plenty of pepperoni and the sauce was good. The cheese was hard and chewy so I don't think it was the highest quality cheese. The crust was nicely blistered from the fire but the bottom was super floppy. Two tap waters, 1 12-inch pie and the calamari. $36 before tip. Covid note- the staff is masked and properly changes their disposable gloves. The partitions between tables make it a bit tight to maneuver if you are in a winter coat and aim to sit on the bench seat. And heaven help you if you're a larger person. It's really small. I've been here twice and both times were excellent. Yes the service can be slow but the food comes out fast and IS delicious. The crust is paper thin, as it should be, and they put a very generous amount of toppings. Had the truffle and pepperoni pizzas yesterday and both are delicious. A shame that Conca d'oro is gone. A solid neighborhood pizza place is an absolute asset to any community. No pretense necessary...just provide good pizza, pasta, salads and sandwiches along with reasonable service and with that you have a recipe for success and a welcomed place in the community. Unfortunately Sag Pizza is a major disappointment. Have taken out a few times but never again. The other night we ordered and picked up three bar pies (pizza for one) two salads and two pasta dishes. Came to over $180 and was mediocre at best. Specifically, the pizza was bland and skimpy on toppings and was at best just ok. Salads, one advertised with avocado, were mostly lettuce and not appealing. The pasta dishes were so tiny that it almost seemed like an absurd joke. Nothing special about them taste-wise whatsoever. Honestly, wouldn't go back primarily because the food was barely adequate and not interesting nor exciting in any way. The reason I'm bothering to write this review is because it's a shitty feeling to feel ripped off for sub-par pizza. Of course, summer out east means allowing for somewhat inflated prices but..when a pizza joint takes advantage of being the only game in town and can't even produce a generally appealing meal you just feel like they hold their customers in contempt. Hopefully new management or some serious self-reflection in the near future for Sag Pizza but I'm not holding my breath. read more

Came here our first night in town. Wow! I believe this is the best pizza we've ever had! We had the Vongole Pizza - so perfect! Just the right amount of garlic and lots of clams :-) Came for happy hour so got bottled beers for $4 each. Happy hour is from 4 - 7 pm. Waiter was super and manager came to check on us. My stomach hurts so bad. I got the san marsono pizza and im pretty sure the cheese was exprired. I went to the bathroom for the first time after eating my pizza. I was in there for a good ten minutes from being in so much pain and trying to poop it all out. I thought i got it all. Now im home. Im bloated like a pregnant person and quite frankly i feel like i could give birth. Out of my ass of course because i am fully a man. So now ive been sitting on the toilet close to tears because of my stomach pain. I talked to my friends and they are experiencing the same issues. The pizza here is very flavorful. I highly recommend this place if you like Neapolitan style pizzas baked in a wood fired oven. It will be slightly charred and the center will be very soft and thin. I did think they charred the crust a little too much, but that did not take away from the flavor of the pizza. Had the San Marzano pizza as well as the Mushroom & Tartufo pizza. We came here after some travel with a large party of 6 and they immediately accommodated us. We ordered the avocado and arugula salad to start us off. Artisan pizza with burnt crust. Thankfully I didn't order a pricey "crust dipping sauce". The service was dreadful and it shouldn't have been since the restaurant was empty. As a summer resident of Sag Harbor for more than 22 years, I was deeply saddened when I heard about the loss of Conca D'Oro. I took some solace in the fact that the article in the local paper suggested that the new owners would retain the name and intimated it would have a similar vibe to the now closed aforementioned. When I came up this summer, I decided that I should give the new place a try. I couldn't have been more disappointed. We walked down main street and what I saw was the garish imposter, the restaurant interloper if you will. My worst fears were realised: the pizza hipsters had come to town. Gone was that pizza joint that hadn't changed in twenty years, in desperate need of a renovation, but still had the best pizza in town. Instead I was greeted with light, the airy, the *modern* pizza joint for all the visitors and tourists with no taste but a need to look glamorous while they ate......pizza. So be it, I said. I'll give it a shot. We were quickly seated which was a surprise. As we were escorted to our table, I glanced at the food people had in front of them. It took me a second to process what I had seen: black pizza - pizza that looked like it was cooked in the fires of hell. Maybe they just got a bad one, I hoped. Despite our quick seating, it became readily apparent that the place was woefully disorganized. It took ten minutes just to receive water and a soda. The server said he'd be back to take our order. The menu is ridiculous. There's no traditional pizza joint stuff. It's obviously catered the yacht/jitney/visitor group. What happened to just straight New York pizza, subs and Italian dishes? Not long after we started perusing the menu, another lady (different from our server) arrived and asked us if we were ready. Sure I said. We settled on a mushroom pizza and a straight cheese offering. Within a few minutes, our previous server returned to get our order. I told him someone else took it but he suggested we give it again just in case something went wrong. His eyes kind of rolled at the thought. It was obvious this was a problem he was familiar with. After giving him the order again, we went back to waiting patiently. As the pizza arrived, I knew we were in for disappointment. The person I was with got an absolutely scorched pizza. Utterly blackened. I wondered to myself, does this place not want you to enjoy your crust? Is that not part of eating pizza? She looked at it with disgust but vowed to make the most of it by eating just the center as she did not want to be difficult. I insisted we send it back because the place is new and they'd benefit from polite feedback. The lady that asked if we were doing OK was informed of our unhappiness with the mushroom pizza. I asked her if it was supposed to be like this - burned to the point it was black in the crust. She responded by asking if we thought it was overcooked, which struck me as odd. I told her we did feel it was. No less than 45 seconds after she walked away, the owner took the pizza out of her hand and walked it straight back to our table. He placed it in my date's face saying that this is the way it is and there's nothing he can do about it because the oven doesn't allow it. He did, however, say he could get us something else. We opted to simply take the pizza back because it was clear whatever we ordered, it was just be another inedible burned "pizza." While my pizza was slightly better, it wasn't much. A pale shadow of Conca D'Oro would be a compliment. I don't know what this is but I'm not interested in having it again. After she ate what was edible in the center and I had mine, we promptly paid the check and vowed never to return. At least they won't sully the Conca D'Oro name - it's now Sag Pizza. read more

The amount of take-out is crazy and apparently they prioritize take-out orders way more than dine-in orders. *Waiter: Worse service I have ever encountered. The waiter was horribly inaccessible and I supposed he has some mental condition going on. He couldn't properly take our order, which is two pizza and a salad. In addition, we ordered peroni and he gave us something else because they ran out of peroni, without even asking. I'm sure other people may like it; It was a little too different for my fiancé and I. Service was good. The interior of the actual restaurant is unique. Sag Pizza is an untraditional pizzaria. They do not sell by the slice. You must only purchase full 12'' pies. I think "heathier pizza" is the angle that the restaurant is shooting for. The Kale Nero Pie definitely felt more like a salad as opposed to a pizza. If you are into healthy alternatives to pizza then I guess this will suffice? My fiancé recommended the Summer Squash Pie. I am glad she did because it got the taste of kale out of my mouth. You should come for the experience. Sag Pizza is a very interesting little restaurant that I recommend for Sag Harbor tourists, but not pizza lovers. read more

Sag Pizza is a very vibrant venue but a few things were lack luster. I didn't find the staff to be very friendly or responsive. I am aware that this is a new place since Conca closed and LT Burger owners bought and remodeled this place, so the community isn't exactly open to it just yet. I came in for a to go order. One slice of Sicilian and one of pepperoni. I enjoyed it but I have definitely had better pizza. I felt the sauce was pretty bland. I found myself adding garlics, red pepper and Parmesan but still not tasting much. The Sicilian crust was amazing I might add. I got this box of pasta that was $26 + tips ‍ No bread, nothing else. I get it's Main St in Sag Harbor, but its kind of too much. I can buy huge portions of pasta from other places in Sag Harbor for less and they give bread and cheese. Pizza is pretty good here. read more
