Came here on a weekend getaway to Sag Harbor. They don't reservations but we were sat right away. The ambiance is classy/casual. The sushi was nothing outstanding, but it was good. We started with the crunch rice tuna (crispy rice). The rice was a bit chewy and hard to eat. Rolls: Torched salmon: I love torched rolls, and their torched salmon roll lived up to my expectation. Next time, however, I would ask for it without the chili threads because it made the roll a bit hard to eat and was stringy. Tiger Roll: This roll was light, and very flavorful. It comes wrapped in a green soy paper instead of rice. Tuna Avocado: You can't go wrong with this classic. Overall, the service was good and the staff were friendly. However, for good sushi, I've definitely had better places.

Sen is a modern Japanese restaurant in downtown Sag Harbor. The restaurant has a lot of seating and also has a sushi bar if you want to sit in front of the sushi chef and order there. The restaurant was packed the whole time we were there and it was a loud atmosphere. The food didn't take too long to come out and we tried some great appetizers and sushi rolls. We had the seaweed salad and Crispy Rice Tuna bites to start. Both were amazing and my girlfriend said it was the best crispy rice tuna she has had! For sushi rolls we tried the Torched Salmon, Tuna Hama, and Garuda. The Garuda was my favorite, and had lightly fried tempura outside. The Tuna Hama paired spicy tuna on top and tender yellowtail together which was delicious as well. This was a great visit and the food, service and atmosphere were all delightful.

LOVE THIS PLACE. It was packed you can tell it's a local spot with great vibes. We were seated immediately which was a plus. The food came out so fast and everything we had was fresh and amazing. Honestly one of my fav place in the Hamptons and will definitely become routine. Definitely order the pork bao, crispy rice, miyako roll!! Our waiter was so sweet and kept checking in on us. This is a must in sag harbor

Really nice ambiance, we ate in the backyard garden and Gustavo was very patient and polite with us. He answered all of our questions and accommodated the vegans at our table. He was great. The food was great! The wait time was a bit much, but it's Sag Harbor on a Saturday, what do you expect? My sister's vegan roll was great, and the chicken karaage was great with the pickled ginger. I loved my ramen, it was super flavorful and excellent overall. I would eat here again for sure.

Love coming here when I'm in sag harbor. Always great sushi. I got salmon sashimi, sushi, and a roll and everything was so delicious and fresh. They had uni from Japan and it was incredible

My 2nd time here . And will Still go back here everyday if its not just pricey. But food is super fresh soooo good specially the sushi. Ambiance of course its loud normal but they have garden area a little less noise . Service good too. Pretty busy place service is pretty fast even tho its busy. Reviews here should be way better than 3 stars .

We stayed two nights in a dog friendly room, which was spacious and clean - no previous smell of a dog at all! They had a dog bed and treats with bowls waiting for her. It was so cute! We visited the restaurant and our food was great. Service was quick and helpful with the menu as well. They had the fire place on which was so nice. We went to the bar/lounge afterwards and had a few drinks by that fireplace. So nice and relaxing. Staff was always welcoming and all drinks and food were good. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. That's all you can ask for! My only complaint was when we were checking out I wanted to make sure our bill was correct and wanted to speak with someone. With Sunday brunch going on upstairs there was no one at the front desk for almost 15 minutes. During the time I was waiting two other people came behind me to wait as well. The front desk person who came back was quick and friendly to get us checked out but for the price I would think someone would be there at all times? We can't wait to come back to Barons Cove soon!!

Room to Improve: 1) Inflexible 4:00PM check-in. They emailed to ask when we'd arrive beforehand; I said 2:00 and would appreciate an early check-in, they said to wait and will text me when room was ready. Actually we had to wait outside in the heat or in the crowded lounge until 4:30PM, no early check-ins for anyone (there were other guests waiting with us). We would have walked into town for lunch had we known this. 2) Free coffee but no included food for breakfast, which is only served in their upstairs restaurant at extra charge. At BC's price point they could have offered a few complementary pastries, as is done at many cheaper venues. 3) The a/c in our room was old, noisy, had no remote and didn't work well. Musty smell in room. 4) Lunch served outside only in all kinds of weather, insufficient umbrellas to provide shade on hot day. (Pls see separate review for their restaurant). All in all our stay at Barons Cove was pretty good, but felt their oldish amenities didn't warrant high room rates plus puzzling "resort fees."

I had chosen this place to have dinner with friends from out of town that were vacationing in Sag Harbor. Reviews looked pretty good and fit what they were looking for: good food, water view, not too far from where they were staying. When we drove up, I was seriously questioning myself. The outside looks like a little dated and small. But as other reviewers have said, the interior is very nice and spacious! We were lucky to get a window table although it was foggy so we could not see a lot of the water; just the parking lot and dock. But still better than nothing. I forgot to take pictures of the apps but we shared multiple orders of the burata, fritto misto and salmon tartare (yes, you read that right). All were good and I did enjoy the tartare. For entrees, I got the fish and chips, Cathie got the bouillabaisse, friends got the chicken Milanese special (what a deal!!), Scottish salmon with ramen, burgers, and another bouillabaisse. We all loved our choices but highlights were definitely the chicken Milanese dinner special (because even with slight up charges for certain items, it is an amazing deal!!); and the bouillabaisse. As some other reviewers have said, this is a MUST ORDER! The broth is not too tomato forward but instead is very flavorful with other spices, not just saffron, and the same food is generous and prepared so well! I will come back just for this! My fish and chips were good, even the Cole slaw although I prefer meatier French fries (although these were still good, nice and crispy). Desserts were also very good and service was good after a couple of bumpy starts.

Securing one of the tables by the window overlooking Noyac Bay is definitely a splendid bonus, especially when the summer sun is setting, making it a picture-perfect time to capture the spectacular cotton-colored sky. Reservations are almost mandatory during peak season; wanting to book same day is challenging, however, late evening oftentimes works. A long, dark bar sits by the entryway with cheerful bartenders awaiting. The Bouillasse is a favorite, with clams, muscles, fish, shrimp and lobster in an an unbelievable pinkish-red stew flavored with lovely saffron. I was slightly disappointed the lobster didn't budge easily out of the shell. Nevertheless, the Bouillasse still remains a favorite. Without a doubt, I'll be back for more.

Our server was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I was too hungover to have a cocktail sadly, but my brother got The Ambassador martini (also on happy hour) that looked delicious to start. We ordered pretty much every seafood item on happy hour along with the shishito peppers and were so happy and satisfied by the end. All of the seafood was incredibly fresh. The shishito peppers were perfectly grilled. The octopus skewer was tender and delicious. Shrimp, crab, oysters and clams were all super fresh. Even the bread they put out was out of this world. My only complaint is that there were a lot of fruit flies around -- likely because we were seated near the produce that was out on display. But I would still come back for this food and these deals.
