Chicken teriyaki lunch box to go with soup or salad (not pictured)
    Melissa N.

We were in town for a wedding this weekend and decided to stop here on the way home. We got the chicken teriyaki lunch special to go, which comes with shrimp shumai, soup or salad, 4 pieces of a California roll, and chicken teriyaki with vegetables. I very much so enjoyed the sauces for the shumai, teriyaki and the spicy mayo we asked for. The chicken was tender white meat strips with the sauce on the side, which I definitely appreciated. The shumai had just such a nice flavor to it and the sauce complimented it well. I don't normally like California rolls, but the spicy mayo we requested added a little something extra. Though it will probably be a long time if we ever come back because it's so far from home, it's definitely a good, fresh and reasonable meal in the area!

Everything was super fresh and the sushi rice tasted perfect! The crispy rice even though it was take out held up amazing 10/10!

Quick service, and I get the sense most of their business is takeout. Either way, it's no frills, fresh, and delicious sushi. Will be back!

Best sushi on the east end! Perfect family run business that never disappoints! The Orlando Roll is amazing and if you like spicy you must try the Jaguar Roll.

Ordered the salmon teriyaki which was sliced and grilled. Very dry. Probably ordered the wrong fish. Service was fine and ambiance basic.

Awesome sushi! My favorites are the spicy crunchy salmon and tuna. Make sure to call ahead with your order as they are always slammed.

Takeout only. Serve on paper and plastic. The food made me sick-diarrhea, stomach pains etc. overcharged $4.00.

The inside of this space feels very sleek and high end. There's a nice bar and tables in front, as well as a few hibachi tables in the back. The menu here is extensive and truly a fusion of Asian cuisines. Can't decide behind Chinese, Thai, or Japanese food? At Tony's you can have it all. I had been under the weather the previous week, so I opted for some hot and sour soup to kick things off and it was the exact cure I needed. Hot and sour and chock full of mushrooms, it really hit the spot. The pork dumplings were decent as well, and the chicken lettuce wraps were fresh and crisp. I ordered tea as well which came in a kettle and was perfectly brewed. We also tried the Massaman curry which had just the right amount of spice and sweetness to it. This place is pricey, but the portions were huge, so I couldn't even be mad. The service was a bit slow, but again, willing to overlook that if the food is good (which it was). If you've been avoiding this place due to bad reviews, I would say you should reconsider.

I did struggle finding something that excited me. It was your typical upscale but unimaginative menu. However, I am pleased to say that the food was delicious and the portions were very good. The wait staff was outstanding. Very often, during a business meeting at other restaurants, I have had waitors interrupt the train of thought ... or mid-sebtence swoop in and ask if everything is alright or if more drinks are needed. Here, our waitress did a great job of appearing during very good times and not being overbearing, yet at the same time being helpful and attentive. The atmosphere is okay. Inside is kind of typical of an upscale corporate event-style venue. The upper outside deck is fantastic with views of the water and comfortable seating. I would come back if I was in the area. Though there are better food options elsewhere in the Hamptons, for a sit down restaurant that you can do business in, it hits all the right notes. Prices are high, as expected, in the Hamptons.

You'll need to walk around the side of the building and ring the doorbell to get in, at which point you'll walk upstairs to a beautifully decorated, nautical themed sushi counter. I arrived with my mom about 10 minutes before our 7:30 pm reservation on a Saturday night, and we were the first ones there. The hostess/waitress was warm and welcoming. She gave us their drink menu which consisted of sake, beer and wine, along with flight options of wine and sake that pair with the Omakase menu. She let us sample two of them (generous pours) before we made our choice. If you're on the fence between a bottle or by the glass, highly recommend the bottle -- we ended up drinking more than we planned to since it went down so smoothly, and also, this 17-course meal calls for more than a couple glasses of sake. The vibe of this place was really friendly and approachable, moreso than other Omakase experiences I've had in the city. We started out with an appetizer featuring snowcrab and seaweed served with sesame oil, mirin, soy sauce and Dashi broth which was simple but refreshing. Our waitress supplied us with ample ginger throughout the experience to keep our palate cleansed as we moved through each course. As other people have mentioned, this isn't the most inventive or even fancy Omakase, so if you're here hoping for truffle, caviar, foie gras toppings or things set on fire and smoked, you might be a bit let down. But every piece of this sushi was fresh, melt in your mouth, and well seasoned. I actually appreciated being able to really taste and appreciate the fish rather than have the flavor be masked by overpowering ingredients. Courses ranged from different types of premium tuna to scallops, shrimp, snapper, mackerel, sea bream, tile fish, and fluke. My favorite was the wagyu and uni hand roll, which was delicious. Our sushi chef even gave us an uni "bump" to eat off our hands like caviar, which was amazing. I love uni so much. Highly, highly recommend this place if you're in town during summer. Super memorable dining experience, we even made friends. I'll be back next year!
