This summer we stay only there when we going to Sag Harbor, first time was regular room with 2 beds , second time we stayed in loft. Nice view, clean hotel, service is great, really nice people working there. AC is loud in the room :( Food is very good in the restaurant. Pool area is good too . Water is clean !

Excellent location, food, and staff. It's a wonderful place to go when feeling the vibe of sag harbor.

Let's start with the bacon! If your bacon is FLAT it's going to be flavorless, probably made in an oven, definitely not worth a penny. Where are the bacon wrinkles, crinkles and waves? Immediately NO. Before I get into the other food let's talk about the presentation, the plating. Big white plate, looked as bland as the food. Big plate, medium size food. No. Eggs Benedict 7/10 the ham 2/10. No. The Artichoke hearts were good as well as their sauce. Staff was nice. I suggest eating before you get here, come for drinks and the ambiance.

Drinks good. Food was decent, wait to me was good. Better than that place in shelter island. Great live music.

Very disappointing experience. Finally made it to Barons Cove for dinner this week - something I was looking forward to for three years. It was extremely disappointing and embarrassing as I had out of town guests and had been so excited to take them there. It took 20 minutes to get our drink order, followed by 30 minutes for 1 appetizer, followed by 1 hour for our entrees which were simply the lobster roll and burgers. The servers were very nice but the delays made it a miserable experience so much so that patrons at one of the three tables that had diners left after their appetizers as they had been waiting for over two hours for their food. Unfortunately the lobster roll was equally disappointing - globs of mayonnaise and three small pieces of lobster. They were clearly understaffed in the kitchen and the servers apologized over and over - I felt badly for them.

Location location location. 5 stars for the beautiful view of Sag Harbor from the second floor outdoor patio. Our lunch was good. Not exceptional. The pan fried bass sandwich satisfied my appetite for the rest of the day. I was craving fries with this entree. And the organic cheese platter was a very good starter. Not really much to choose from for waterfront dining in the area. Barons is a good choice. Also, the hotel looks like a nice stay if in the area for an overnight.

As a local resident of sag harbor and COVID-19 nurse I reserved a room here for a staycation. From prior experience, Baron's Cove and most establishments in Sag Harbor have always maintained a high standard of service. Today they fell significantly short of that standard. Our Check in was Thursday at 4pm and our room wasn't prepared until 6pm. An offer to hold our luggage was also not extended. We left for dinner and returned to our room to place another order and enjoy our patio (recommended room.) Unfortunately, we did not have a menu in our room and called to request one. After waiting an hour we walked to the restaurant to request one. The food was AMAZING! The mushrooms, lobster rolls, grilled oysters and sea bass should be the first thing you order if you have a menu in your room. After requesting a late check-out considering the late check-in that was not our fault. We attempted to reserve the room for another night (Friday) at the front desk, I expected a room to not be available. However, after being turned away and communicating with another guest we were told to contact a reservationist over the phone where we were then told several rooms were available. While we are a small group, another local (and guest) went to the front desk to inquire about extending her stay, unknown to the previous inquiry; she was told "Oh, you're the double room lady? No there are no rooms available." I'll let your perception of that comment sum up my review. While we have not yet resolved our issue and have been willing to pay for another night. I will say their COVID-19 precautions exceeded our expections. The front desks lack of customer service needs to be addressed. Room staff is phenomal. Overall great food but poor service.

We went for an early seating yesterday and bravely brought our 8 month old. This was already a bold ask because this restaurant doesn't scream children but port of call took it with stride. We were accommodated with a highchair and several staff stopped to say hi to our baby. (For his part, our baby was relatively chill although a loud babbler, and no tears which we would call a win). Now onto the product. Absolutely phenomenal. We were wowed from start to finish. Every single drink, dish, and dessert far exceeded our expectations. The happy hour menu is very generously priced and had several favorites off the actual menu, as well as some items which I believe are available all the time. Our server (I'm very sorry I can't think of his name) was fantastic and offered excellent recommendations to like drinks on the current menu based on drinks we said we usually steer towards. Every drink (we had 4 different ones) absolutely knocked it out of the park. This would be an awesome spot for cocktails and apps with friends but is also a superb full service date night spot. We can't (and won't) stop raving about port of call!!!

This restaurant provides a higher quality meal than 99% of restaurants in CT. To the detriment of an otherwise fantastic experience: The overall experience here lacks some of the polish you'd expect from a restaurant operating at such a high culinary level. There seem to be consistent breakdowns of the overall communication, planning and operations throughout the restaurant experience. While the service team is friendly, capable, and professional, there are recurring lapses in communication and organization that affect the overall flow of service. These hiccups express a system lacking in polish and organization, perhaps due to a breakdown of cohesion, a weak overall structure, or management issues...? The intimate dining room is a part of the restaurant's charm, but it also leaves little room for error. Seating logistics and pacing require careful management, and we've experienced a few situations where communication between the front and back of house appeared to break down. To the staff's credit, any issues we've encountered have always been handled directly, graciously, and professionally. Port of Call remains a top dining choice, but the operational inconsistencies keep it from feeling like an automatic recommendation every time. Food: 5/5 Servers: 5/5 Finesse/Operations: 2/5

This is a brand new addition to Woodbury and we are so glad to have it. Plenty of booths, tables and hightops in a beautiful setting make this a perfect night out for an upscale meal that won't break the bank. When given the option we will most usually sit at the bar to take everything in and there is seating for about a dozen patrons there with plenty of elbow room. A private lot makes parking a breeze as well. There is a separate room for the chef's tasting menu and we are told that the menu changes frequently. They had a DJ I didn't know but he did pretty good. We danced all night and had a great time. Drinks were great. The Cosmopolitan Martine could have been better according to the few that ordered it but all other drinks were great. Bartenders were quick to take our orders considering how packed the place was. I have been here many times in the past 18 years. I loved that now they have a bucket to the left of the bar filled with water bottles. And this is great cause for us dancing all night hydration is important. So that's a plus for them. The only bad thing is that tables were filled with glassware and many broken next to dance floor. A dance floor that was packed so a little bump to the table and it could be a huge accident. Lots of broken glass on the dance floor too. I had to point out to one of the security guard the broken glasses near dance floor tables. They did take care of it fast. I may suggest to the manager to have a person come by with a bag just to pick up the actual garbage too. And maybe a bucket for glassware. Cause the guy that was picking up some was carrying it on his hand so it's hard to carry that many. So come by to have a good time. 100% recommend this place. The place is great for all ages. Music is great as well and they try to mix it up real good unless it's a theme night. Prices for drinks are reasonable considering that it's the casino. And now with no smoking band in the casino I'm happier to visit more often.
