UPDATED Base my…read morereviews off what you pay: *Place was 75% full at 6PM on a Friday. Price - N/A Food - 4/5 - food was good with family style portions. Service - 4/5 - very personable and friendly. Ambiance - 4/5 - nice spot on the pond. Overall - 4/5 - as always, Harvest makes it case for the best spot in Montauk. Food is always great, a little pricey but delicious and family style. Did not dine-in, did takeout but service was still top tier. Shout out to Caroline the bar tender, she was sweet, went above and beyond and made great drinks. Place is located at a beautiful spot, does have a classy vibe. As always, does not disappoint. Best Dish - Hard to say Would Return - Definitely

The burger did not live up to its large price tag as it tasted pre frozen. Also, a beverage was accidentally spilled with most of it in the table. The server cleaned it up and disappeared for 30 minutes without a new drink or ask if we wanted a new one? No just an assumption that this guest that stayed up til midnight on the dot 7 days prior to make the reservation will stay thirsty for the entirety of the meal. Don't get me wrong everything else was delicious as usual but it felt like they were doing us a favor for being there.

While in Montauk last weekend, I stopped by Topside for lunch, and it ended up being one of my…read morefavorite meals of the trip. Both the food and the overall experience were outstanding. Everything tasted incredibly fresh. I started with the fluke sushi, which I'd never tried before, and it was delicious. (I wish I could accurately describe sushi/fish in better detail, but I can't so just trust me on this one!) For my main course, I ordered the hot lobster roll, and as an avid lobster roll-lover, it did not disappoint. The lobster was served in generous, chunky pieces with just the right amount of butter. It came with fries that were perfectly crispy, though I do wish they had been seasoned a bit more. The restaurant overlooks the inlet, making it the perfect spot to relax and watch the boats come and go. The staff was welcoming, and the service was excellent from start to finish. They also played great music -- that particular day they were playing country music (a southerner's dream!). Last but not least, another bonus is the location. There are several charming little shops just steps away, making it easy to browse before or after your meal. My biggest fear is it's going to be super crowded the next time I'm back in Montauk and I won't get a table. With that being said, I absolutely cannot wait to eat another amazing lobster roll with that lovely view! 5 stars for the lobster roll, 5 stars for the view, 5 stars for the hospitality!

I ordered the mermaid roll , which was supposed to be tempura shrimp and Crab. The shrimp wasn't even a full size shrimp, but rather shrimp cut in half lengthwise. More disappointing than that was the fact that it did not have real crabmeat, but rather the fake crab :(. My husband had the mahi mahi taco and it hardly gad any fish, but mostly vegetables Come on Gossmans- you can do better than this!

I was with my clout friend and knew it was bad when the bouncer denied his platinum clout card. I never seen it decline in my life....... They said we could order a drink and hang out on the patio, but couldn't actually get inside or order food as the kitchen closed at 9:30. The group of 10 I was with began to deliberate if we should head back to NYC or hang out on the patio for awhile and wait in quiet desperation. I didn't really care so I just lit up one of the little cigars I had and chilled in the parking lot, which was essentially an active construction zone. There were cranes, piles of lumber, shipping crates, etc. all on top of a gravel parking lot. I felt like I was on a movie set. I had a clear view of the stars too which was so humbling. Like damn I'm just here on this floating rock in the middle of the universe. None of this really matters so I'm just gonna have a good time. Moving from LA to NYC, the 2 most light polluted cities in the US, I never get to see the true night sky. It always gets me existential. We ended up dipping like 20 minutes later, but highly recommend coming here and smoking a cigar in the parking lot and pondering your existence if nothing else. Ig @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov_reviews

Two tacos for $18 is outrageous, but that's Montauk for you. $9 for elote and creamy corn each, we passed on the $17 guac. Food was flavorful enough, wouldn't say it was particularly authentic. Overall good vibes/experience but would probably opt for dinner elsewhere.
