The store is fairly new and it quite large and well stocked. Some of the staff are nice, some are not, like anywhere else. They have a gas station on the premises where you can redeem your gas points.. The downside are the bums in the parking lot, or sitting at the tables in front of the store. Pretty much nothing good about this place, they don't have very good deals, their produce is pretty lousy, selection is okay, lines are always incredibly long and they'll only have a few checkout lanes open. Only reason I really go here is because it's closer than any other grocery store. read more

Took the lady at the deli 15 mins to make 2 subs while everyone waited in line. Most left the line including me. I did want to eat before the day was over. Need more people at the check out. Lines take forever. read more

I can't get the Just4U prices consistently . It's hit or miss, have to check my receipt every time. Also I have been over charged for produce when they put in the wrong look-up number. I have been overcharged the past 4 times in a row, and have to return just to get a refund. Very aggravating, and waste of time. read more

I placed an order yesterday for delivery this evening between 7-8. It's now almost 10 and my delivery hasn't shown up! I called at 9 and was told the driver was behind schedule but should be here momentarily. Waste of time, would never order from them again. Not only did it not save me any time, the hassle of calling around and having to stay up late totally negated any benefit of not having to go to the store myself. read more

Safeway had several varieties of Alaskan salmon on sale this week. I went to the store multiple times, but they never had any in stock. Today they admitted they'd never received any of the items. They said they couldn't offer a rain check and they had no substitutes. What a waste of time. I've been frustrated by out-of-stock sale items before, but this was the worst case yet. read more

Love the home delivery offered by Safeway, really helps me out immensely, being mobility handicapped. Been in Tucson about a year and a half and when I'm home alone and need groceries I order! Great selection on the regular things we use. The delivery staff are awesome and so very helpful, one delivery person even helped put groceries away for me on a very bad day! Was a Safeway patron many years ago in Nebraska, sad to see them leave the Omaha area! Like finding that friend that you lost contact with! read more

What a great service. Once you figure out all the ins and outs of the app this is such a great service!!! My mom just has to be ready to open the door at the appointed hour... The driver brings the bags in and refuses a tip. What a great service for those who can no longer drive and walk the isles with ease. read more

I used to love this store, then they got bought out by Albertsons. Now the prices have increased noticeably and the customer service has fallen. They replaced 4 automatic tellers with 4 express lane booths that are only ever staffed by one to two people. Why have four? Expect lines of 15-20 people if you stop by after work. The deli has good meats and cheeses, but again the price has increased. And again you are going to be waiting for a while to get an order fulfilled. The only department that is stellar is the pharmacy. Friendly people quick turn around. They are the only reason I go to this store anymore. If I am not picking up a prescription it just isn't worth the hassle. read more

This review is for the Safeway Pharmacy at this location. For the past year, I have had a monthly prescription filled at this pharmacy. I chose this pharmacy, because I thought it would be convenient to pick up my prescription when I bought groceries. The people working at the pharmacy were typically cordial, but the pharmacy was always understaffed. My prescription was supposed to be on a monthly automatic renewal. But three months in a row when I came to pick it up, something had gone wrong with the automatic renewal and they had to set it up again. So I often ended up waiting 20-30 minutes for a prescription that was supposed to be automatically renewed and waiting for me to quickly pick up. More than once, I stopped by to pick up my prescription and they didn't have it in stock, so I ended up waiting a day or two to get it. Not to mention, I regularly had to wait 5-10 minutes at the pick up window for someone to even talk to me, even though I was the only customer. Usually there are only two people working, and they are always busy on the phone or filling prescriptions. Overall, I found the service to be really unreliable and not worth the intended convenience of getting my prescription while grocery shopping. I am currently in the process of transferring to another pharmacy. read more
