First I had to call and ask a question of the pharmacist. After 20 minutes nobody picked up the…read morephone. Then I called the Walgreens manager to get a hold of a pharmacist for me. I waited for 15 minutes, they never picked up the phone. Once I got there one of my prescriptions was transferred to another store by the pharmacist. He said it would be ready that night. He said it would be a 20 minute drive. That was OK. I needed it. The next day I drove to get my medicine it had not been transferred. All they had for me after all this driving and waiting is a simple "sorry". Well, sorry doesn't cut it. I like Walgreens, but this one has terrible customer service. What a waste of an hour and a half of my life.

I've always thought that maybe she was having a bad day and always try to approach her in a friendly manner.I work in customer service and know that it is difficult to continually answer questions and handle people that are difficult. But it doesn't matter, she's always salty and a couple of weeks ago she was the worst. Admittedly, they do have a few people that are always helpful. But with their issues with the app lately, im going to try to find other places to go as often as I can.

I was given a variety of prescriptions and advised to get them filled at Rite Aid, the nearest pharmacy. We were traveling a fair distance and admittedly were under a tight time frame because of a narrow check in window at our hotel. We asked how long it would take. We were told 45 minutes. Considering it was Saturday I understood it would take some time. My husband and I went to a sit down lunch and the grocery store for provisions for the road. It took a little more than an hour. We asked the pharmacy if they were finished. She said it would take several more minutes. Ten minutes later, they still weren't finished. We then said we would take what they had. We the. Learned that none of them had been filled after an hour and twenty minutes in that time they had printed two labels and had not pulled the corresponding medications. Let's be clear. I don't fault the pharmacy for our travel arrangements. I do, however, fault them for not providing an accurate assessment of when things would be finished. If we had known that it would take upwards of twice of what they told us (potentially more), we would have gone elsewhere.

This is a small sort of department store, sort of a mini-Fred Meyer with zero glamour. That said, they have never let me down, I've always found what I was looking for. But, there is absolutely no fluff. This is a member based store, but non-members are allowed. I do not have a membership, not sure what you get with it, but it only costs $5. Full service with a pharmacy. Great selection of small appliances and local beer. (That is an indicator right there of what my focus is). Prices are good, as good as any other in town. The store itself has zero sparkle, looks a little tired, but a solid selection. Always plenty of parking, the staff working the store are very nice.

I double checked the phone #, which was correct. My doctor called again. Rude to my doctor when she called the prescription in again, and then admitted it was in the voicemail but they didn't listen to it. Rude assistants and pharmacists that apparently don't think voicemails should be checked. Then after they have my prescription at the register make me wait until the entire line that formed (after I waited in line twice because they didn't do their job) was cleared before they called me up. Horrible experience. I'm really glad that they are not my regular pharmacy.

On numerous occasions I have gone to get a prescription only to find a note on the door that they were closed for various reasons; i.e. staff meeting. What business closes for lunch? Drive through is never open and if it is the wait is well over 30-mins. Get a text that my prescription is ready, go to pick it up and told it will be 30-45 min. Why did I get the text? Unfortunately my insurance is not accepted at Drug Mart or I would never use Walgreens again. I have transferred most of my prescriptions to Express Scripts, a bit more expensive but 100% more reliable. If you have a choice don't use Walgreens.
