Love Safeway! I go here for all my grocery shopping. I use the application on my phone to put all the coupons on my Safeway card before I shop. It typically saves us quite a bit. This store is organized, not too big, and clean. The cashiers are quick and efficient. It's a good place to get basic staples. They don't have a huge selection but it's close to home and easy to get in and out of. It's never too crowded. read more

This Safeway doesn't look quite so ghetto now that they've given it a makeover. They also added a Starbucks into the mix. However poor customer service and severely long lines make it impossible to "run in and out" at any typical part of the day. I have gone in for one simple item and spent twenty minutes waiting in line. Try shopping at 1am, then maybe your line wait won't be so long. read more

Yolanda in the deli was so wonderful and helpful. She made us the most delicious breakfast burritos and was so sweet. We frequently go to different Safeway's and Yolanda was the best customer service we have ever had at a Safeway deli! read more

The bathrooms were really dirty. Seriously Safeway, clean up! Your not a public bathroom at a park. And they don't double bag when needed. Second time in a row my bags bust. read more

This is my regular grocery store.... I come here because of it's location. The store itself is OK. The wait for this store is always longer than most of the other grocery stores, they usually have 2 registers open, but they have been doing a little better lately because of the holidays. read more

I have made my final trip to Safeway of Edmonds. When I got home to unload my groceries I found not one but three things that were past their expiration date and this is not the first time it has happened. Two packages of frozen hamburgers were to have been pulled in March, and it is now the end of June. A couple of years ago our entire family got sick on a box of baking mix that was one year past its pull date. The date was in code we had no way of knowing how old it was. I am tired of having to drive back to return things. You have lost a loyal customer! read more

This store is OK. I'd say a good half are friendly and helpful while some look miserable. I just came back from this store and am a little miffed. While I was grocery shopping, I asked the Starbucks barista if I could buy two extra envelopes (for the gift cards I bought last week) as my dad had accidentally thrown them away. She said she could probably give them to me for free but told me to check with the managers behind the customer service stand to make sure it was okay. I went and they looked like they feigned ignorance and were just completely indifferent in helping me. I went to my local Starbucks inside QFC afterwards and they gave it to me free no questions asked. The customer service at the latter blows Safeway's away. I used to come out of my way for their packaged salads and a few things for my dad's business but I will be finding them elsewhere now. read more

Safeway is a little further away for me to walk but they still have a good selection of basic items and a nice bakery.

I've been shopping here for years. Once a week faithfully. NO MORE! They are constantly out of items and don't restock for weeks, if at all. Their produce has gone downhill. Some produce are close to rotting. Again, they're out of certain produce constantly. When I ask about something like, where's your oranges? The answer is there's a problem in Chili and we haven't been getting them in. Really? We'll the other markets have oranges?? Why not keep business in U.S. and get from Calif. or Florida??? What a concept right? I always have to stop at another market to get what they didn't have in stock at this store. SAFEWAY I hope you're reading this! read more

I love going to this store. Everyone there is always nice. It makes deciding where to go buy groceries when you know that you won't be roaming around the store for an hour to find chickpeas because there is always somebody there to offer help. They have a nice wine selection and offer organic produce. The meat department is always helpful in choosing what to pair with what and offer recipe ideas:) CAshiers: A++. And no matter what, someone offers to carry out your grocery bags or bag. Even the people bringing in the carts will offer to take it in for you from right next to your car. Check out is bad when lines are long, one checker, also Safeway U-card program on weekly sale price on item sometimes never works, I have to save reciepts and down load sale info, and return later to get a a refund. read more

Prices are higher than it seems like they should be, but watch the weekly specials - there's usually something healthy and cheap. There are usually plenty of cashiers - sometimes more than are needed - so you move right through the line. Staff, especially the people out on the floor, are extremely friendly and happy to help. Used it is a primary grocery store for 6 months without incident. read more

The lines are usually long and they don't have enough cashiers working. Thier produce isn't the best quality and it's very expensive. I've been a steady customer since it opened and the service has gotten worse and worse. I won't use this store anymore. No customer service consistantly at a grocery store is inexcusable read more

This is my favorit store to shop at. It is always clean and tidey. Their different department always has someone there to ask question. I can not say enough about the pharmacy and their staff. Just an all around good store and pricing too. read more

I was to nite at the Edmonds store on highway 99 in Washington ... I went to the meat/seafood counter and the nice kid Jessie ...went out of his way to help me find chicken broth ... he told me go shopping I will find you after I get your poke salad ready for you ... he surely found me helped me finish my shopping ... he is such a good kid ... this was now the second time he did this ... I just moved there about a month ago .... after I was done I went through the checkstand and Ryan ... nite mgr? I guess ... told me to make a comment ... tonite I called ryan back and said this is not working on my computer he offered to come in and he would walk me through ...
