Cody and the guys from Safety Tire took an impossible and terrible situation in which all 6 (and no longer produced) tires of a Mini Winnie had to be replaced asap during a multi thousand mile road trip. Not only did he do the conversions no one else would, he located and retrieved the new tires promptly. They were incredibly accommodating to us and our pets and worked past closing on a Saturday to get us back on the road asap. Truly impeccable service and kind hardworking folks. I would absolutely recommend Safety Tire to anyone. You guys rock and saved our day/trip! Thanks Cody and Company! read more

On my way from Redding back to Bay Area, my Tesla X got a flat tire on I-5 in Willows. I called my auto insurance roadside assistance and was told all tires shops had closed at that time and I had to wait till next morning to get the tire fixed. Safety Tire Service was recommended and my car would be towered to that shop next morning. I stayed in a local motel and called the shop next morning. Unfortunately it was Veterans' day holiday and the shop was closed. Luckily it has extra hour service number, and Cody picked up the phone right away and got to my hotel within 30min with his working truck. It turned out my tire was unrepairable. Cody was able to get a replacement tire of the same height and I was able to get back on my way to home within 30min. He was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. He also gave me a very good cash deal for his extra hour service and the replacement tire. He also told me I could have called him last night and he would have come to help me. I do not wish anyone else to have a flat tire, but if it happened, do not hesitate to call Safety Tire for help. They, or at least Cody is a great and honest guy. read more

Our rental SUV blew a tire on i5 in California's central valley in August in 107-degree heat. A local towing service got us to Safety Tire Service and they were great! They had good quality tires, in the size we needed, for a reasonable price. They replaced the tire immediately, in only 15 minutes, and got us on our way. I wouldn't wish needing a new tire on short notice on anyone, but if you do, I definitely recommend Safety Tire! read more

This review is long over due. This business deserves all the 5 stars it has. Got a flat on our way back to SJ. It was Father's Day and the owner, I assume, didn't let us pay a single cent. He just told my partner "Happy Fathers Day" .Still, we gave more for tip. read more

My daughter and I were driving home from Oregon and our tire sensor light went on. We stopped by Safety Tire, they did a full assessment, and took a tire off to double check and dunk to make sure there was no leak. Come to find out we had too much air in our tires... we would not have known that if we had not stopped. They didn't charge us for the service, and sent us on our way. I have abundant gratitude and appreciation for their kindness and support. Cody helped us out, and was fantastic. read more

I was about 300 miles into my 900 mile drive when my tire suddenly went flat. I felt like I was in the middle of nowhere at 6 am on a dark Sunday morning 2 days after Christmas. The shop was fortunately less than 2 miles from the freeway exit, but unfortunately it was closed until the following day. I texted the emergency number posted on the shop window and to my surprise got a response 1 minute later. He sent someone out to help me out - literally 15 minutes later the nicest gentleman showed up. He was very skilled and professional and had me on my way less than 30 minutes later. I was so lucky to be helped by these wonderful folks. I'm so appreciative for their help and wish I could give 6 stars for this review. Bonus: This shop has been around since the 1960s and used to be a small bottling factory. Thanks also for the interesting conversation! read more

Driving from SoCal, I got a flat in Elk Grove. I drove on a spare all 98 miles to Willows. Thankfully this place was open until 12 on a Saturday. I was able to come in and get a new tire in about 15 minutes. Both gentlemen that were working were nice and extremely helpful. They were out of the cheaper style of tire, so I had to pay a little more, but with very little options in this tiny desolate town, you have to just deal with it! Thanks again for the service! read more

After just having a blowout on the freeway I was quite shaken. Very kind tow truck driver came and replace a tire with my spare. With several hundred miles to go I was worried about the air pressure and condition of the other tires. Manual the truck driver recommended Safety Tire for a check up. They had me pull right into the garage checked the air pressure and I was going to go. I asked how much and he wouldn't take anything from me. Great place and nice to get a break after a scary experience. read more

Can't say enough good things about Safety Tire....just left Willows towing our 31ft travel trailer when we had a major blowout of a trailer tire that shredded the tire and blew a hole in the floorboard of the trailer causing significant damage. My husband was pulling a cargo trailer from Washington to California and experienced his second blowout on the trailer. Luckily he had 2 spares! But worried for another blowout. He called me while passing through Corning and asked me to locate a tire center close to the 5, and I found Safety Tire Service in Willows. They had just what he needed and replaced all 4 tires with much better ones with lightnening speed. He was back on the road in 20 minutes! If you need help quick, they are the ticket. My husband and I discovered we had a bad tire on our Hallmark trailer. Shelby and Colton hooked us up, and there was virtually no wait time for their mobile unit to arrive, unlike when you call AAA. Prices so good, we replaced the other 3 tires too. Even though we don't live in the area, were going to come back to have them replace tires on our RV. Great service! read more

Shelby is the man. Called him after hours and we had our blown tire change in less then a hour after calling him

We had a flat tire and this place was definitely helpful and approachable. We were absolutely amazed by their patience and reasonability. There was five of us, two were arriving by tow truck. While we were waiting at the shop, the owner checked in on us and see how we were doing etc. When the car arrived, he was also super reasonable and let us know happened. We didn't feel pressure to buy anything. We felt like we can trust them which is huge because we were coming from far away. Don't be distracted by the dust in the store. These folks are very hardworking. Nothing like a flat tire to ruin a road trip but this definitely made us feel more safe and okay to head home. Thank you!!! read more

I was at Thunder Hill for the weekend with my RV & discovered I had a flat. One of my friends suggested I call Safety Tire in town. I called up Safety & they dispatched a mechanic to me within an hour or so of my phone call. When the tech arrived, he went to work right away & we discovered that all of my tires were a bit old & cracking. I followed him to the shop and was done with 6 new tires on the RV in about an hour. Fast & friendly service, reasonable prices, and back to the track I went to finish my weekend. Would happily do business with them again. read more

We drove down to San Francisco from Seattle and on our way home after a four day adventure we found our tire pressure a little low. We were going to try to just continue on anyway, but when it started dropping drastically we were in trouble. it was about 7 am on a Sunday morning (12/30/12). We stopped at a gas station and looked up a tire place. The attendant told us that the only one even remotely close was about five minutes north of where we were, and since Les Schwab is closed Sunday we didn't have any other options to speak of. So, we called the place that said they have 24 hour service (in case of emergencies) and got someone one the phone. He said he could have one of his guys there in just a few minutes if we could make it up to the shop. We made it, but barely. James chatted with us, found he could patch our tire instead of needing to replace it and we were patched and on the road again in about an hour. He was a life saver and it only cost about 100$ for an emergency early morning patch, which I consider a steal. Thanks to this place we made it home! read more
