I was looking to get quotes for a patio sliding door. I had received a few quotes before Safeshield Construction came out. I met Billy and was super impressed. Communication is very important to me and he kept me informed. From our initial meeting to follow up calls and emails. His pricing was competitive with others. The actual people doing the work were ok - only botched a few things up, but the management - Billy and his wife/assistant Katrina are incompetent at best and negligent at worst. Didn't do what they said they would do, didn't return phone calls in a timely manner, and walked away from the job without completing the work. Don't waste your time or money on this guy. read more

I must say that Bill, the owner of SafeShield Construction did a superb job of installing two security doors for us. He personally wrote up the estimate and did the actual installation of two doors in a punctual (promptly there at 8am sharp during a schedule window of 8am-10am), timely (2 hours for both doors) and highly efficient and caring manner (as told below). The most impressive aspect about Bill was he realized the trim surrounding the doors were unique and dated back 60+ years. He initially thought the trim had to be "customized" to make the doors fit; however, he was very cognizant and appreciative of the trim's distinctiveness and was able to install both doors in a way that left the trim untouched!! So much appreciation and gratitude to Bill for his considerate and thoughtful approach in the way he conducts his profession. From the initial scheduling for an estimate to the final "walk-through", working with Bill was smooth & effortless.
