After being rescheduled 3 times over the course of a week (for on-site appointments), I ended up making an appointment with Auto Glass Now who were so accommodating and pleasant to work with! I read all the bad reviews here and it made me very skeptical of Safelite. None the less it's the vendor my insurance recommended. With great skepticism I arrived early for my 2pm appointment and was told they were running a 1/2 hour behind. Told him that's fine (I've come this far) I'll wait for it. Went out for a walk at 2:15 and my car was moved (Hmm, only 15 min late) and I had an email informing me work has started. Came back from my walk expecting to sit there for another hour, but to my surprise my car was outside complete and waiting for me. Done in under 1.5 hours. I have a Hyundai that also needs camera recalibration. All good... I felt someone should leave a positive review. One of the workers told me they had 18 windshield's to do today. read more

CUSTOMER SERVICE AND INTERACTIONS FIRST IMPRESSION!! My windshield was damaged due to an icicle falling on it. I noticed the next day the crack spreading. Called my insurance company who recommended Safelite on Park Ave. Made an appointment for that Friday to drop my car off. Called back immediately to tell me it couldn't be dropped off due to potential calibrations that MAY be needed and would take longer so we would have to reschedule. Rescheduled for the following Monday. Called me Saturday before my appointment and said would need to reschedule due to the Blizzard we were getting. Ok cool, understand, no problem. Set it up for the following Saturday at 3pm! Saturday comes I arrive at 2:55pm and when I walked in, there was a lady waiting for her car. The man came out clearly agitated and was talking to her about the troubles he having recalibrating hers. His tone was as if we were aggravating him for being there. Never acknowledged me. Spoke to another customer who came AFTER me very briefly outside then came in to ask what car I had (20 minutes later after arriving) I said the Honda Pilot and he said ok and his demeanor was aggravated as he walked back into the garage. Comes back out about 5 minutes later and said it may be a while, maybe like an hour/hour and a half before your window is fixed because I'm still working on hers and we are behind, I mean it's 3:20 (IVE BEEN HERE ON TIME NOT MY DAMN PROBLEM) so I shrugged my shoulder and said That's fine I'm just dropping it off, Im coming back. That seemed to please him just a bit that he wasn't being "rushed". I call my uber and had to wait 10 minutes. After he was all set with the woman he takes my keys and says I needed to wait so he can test drive my car to see if it needs to be recalibrated. I explained to him I can't wait my Uber is outside and if it needs to be done then just do it but I'm only there to drop the car off. He appeared to get upset that I wouldn't wait while he test drove my car. Dude I don't know nothing about cars or car talk just fix the windshield and recalibrated it if it needs to be or not and you can call me with updates. He threw his hands down as if he just got finished with an argument with his wife or someone and said fine in a stressed out manner and walked away. He called me about 25-30 minutes after arriving home to say he prechecked it on a scanner and the camera in my windshield was not damaged, it's all set so my car should be done in about an hour/hour and a half. His tone was completely different when he called (much more pleasant)..just waiting to pick it up to give another review on the actual work! I can tell you know I won't return to this location just off his demeanor, attitude and communication skills off first impression that made me tell myself everyone has bad days including myself but damn it leave it in the parking lot and not take it out on the customers! read more

If I could rate at - zero I would. Had appointment June-7 never showed never called, texted or emailed. I waited a week for this appointment too. I called they left me on brief hold...15min then came back and disconnected me. I also emailed Safelite they never responds not even with the new appointment they issued me. I wish I could have chosen what day and time. I call my useless insurance company she tells me my appointment is for June-14.. said no email from Safelite says June 7th 8am-12pm. This turned ugly, they called but phone wasn't working? I waited 5 hours for them to show. I spoke to 6 people from insurance company.NO help I will NEVER use Safelite or recommend them to anyone. It should not be this hard to get a windshield replace. I just got a call from Safelite first thing I said wow guess my # is working. read more

I received an email from Safelite with a link to leave a review for the Park Ave, Worcester location after my service was completed. I did so and submitted my review to Safelite, who simply responded by saying they were sorry but glad I got a new windshield and was able to get back home. BUT THEY DID NOT POST MY REVIEW!!! And why would they?... Here is my experience: I am originally from MA and still have family there, and I drove back from TN for a visit in July. During my road trip, a truck kicked up a rock that hit the driver's side of my windshield and started cracking immediately. I needed the windshield replaced before driving back to TN, so I decided to bring it to the Park Ave, Worcester location, where they did replace my windshield. When I picked up my car, David, the technician, told me they get paid for reviews and asked me to please provide one, mentioning that a link would be sent to me. Everything seemed fine until I was home a day or two later and drove in a rainstorm, noticing water streaming down the inside of my newly replaced windshield. I also noticed that the buttons on the steering wheel suddenly only worked intermittently. For instance, my phone, volume, and voice command buttons often didn't work, and we didn't have these issues before the windshield was replaced. We contacted our insurance company for guidance, and they told us to reach back out to Safelite, which they did, and a technician came out to take pictures and inspect the situation. He then told us that Safelite installed the wrong windshield. We have a brand new 2025 Kia, and an OEM windshield should have been installed. Not only was it not OEM, but it also wasn't even the correct windshield for our vehicle! We were then told that Safelite would contact us to schedule an appointment to replace the windshield and check why the steering wheel controls weren't working properly. It has been a nightmare since then. The technician who came to our house told us our appointment would be in Knoxville, which is almost two hours away. When we tried to reschedule to the Nashville shop--closer and with much better reviews--we struggled to reach anyone at the shop and were routed to a call center. Let me just say... NIGHTMARE. The call center was unhelpful, clearly unaware of what's going on!!! There's much more to this story, but I won't go into all of it. We didn't attend our scheduled appointment, which was in Nashville--not Knoxville as originally told--and we repeatedly tried to call the shop to cancel. When we didn't show up, someone from Nashville called us, and he was excellent! We felt so much better after speaking with him and receiving the customer service we deserve. Not only did Safelite provide terrible service in Worcester, but now we have to drive an hour and 40 minutes to have the correct windshield installed, wait about three hours, and then drive back another hour and 40 minutes. Safelite, you need to do better to provide the customer service we all deserve. Your call centers are useless, and you need to listen to the countless poor reviews and hear what your customers are saying. You will lose more business because people don't want to deal with your lack of care and service. Train your technicians better and give them the tools they need to do a good job. For example, add a customer-facing representative at your shops to handle issues and deliver quality service. I will never recommend Safelite to anyone and will share our story whenever asked. According to hundreds of other reviews at different locations, the common themes are poor service, lack of proper customer support, and difficulty reaching someone on the phone. DO BETTER! I will also be posting this review on Google and other sites to make sure more people hear about it. read more

Safelite Dirtbags DONT USE! 2-3 weeks ago I registered w/ my agent for a glass claim. They booked the appointment DIRECTLY with Safelite. I was unaware of my option to book directly through my carrier. I called Safelite's automated system and confirmed for Park Avenue, Worcester, MA, branch for 8 am today. Due to leaving my son's school late, I called the branch directly and reported I would be late and requested not to be "bumped". (Safelite has a policy, based on demand, if you are late, they can take other customers over you). The gentlemen on the phone assured me to not worry. I arrived at approximately 8:15 am and noticing the parking lot was full, I pulled into the driveway and out of the way. There was a Safelite service van backing up and stopped because he thought I was attempting to navigate around him. I just waited until it was safe to proceed. While I was waiting, a Safelite employee pulled in behind me and started laying on his horn, in his 2 dollar cheap red truck. The service van moved and I pulled into an illegal space. I got out of the car and approached the employee who had no name tape on and had a smirk on his filthy gutter snipe savage face. I stated, "you were using your horn, did you see the van?" "What?" he responds. Loudly I stated "Hey, you can't hear me? Did you see the van backing up?" "I don't care, you can't park there". He stated, but parked his cheap truck there in its place. The reality is: a customer is not allowed to park in HIS space. I approached him and stated, "Used your horn? What gives you the right to use your horn on me? You are a touch guy in the truck, but the moment you get out and have a conversation, you turn female part." Now, he's flustered and turns into this mealy mouth stuttering fecal matter. A fat woman comes running out "you cant be here, you have to leave". I left, told them both to have sex with one another. You can contact your insurance carrier directly. Don't use these people. I had a small barely visible, a pin point ping in my windshield. I called Safelite and was told that they'll just put it an adhesive over the damage. There was no mention of any type of machinery being used. That would cause further damage. After the technician "fixed" The problem the crack was now evident and I was told I would need a new windshield. Do not let these people touch your car! The guy deactivated my sensors and had a nasty attitude about it! Had the nerve to tell me that it's not his fault and he couldn't do anything about it. A few years back I had a bad window. I called safelite, made an appointment, and waited all day. After a no show I called them and they informed me there was an issue getting the window and had to reschedule. So it was rescheduled a few weeks further out. Again I waited all day and they never showed. I called them again and got yet again the same excuse. Finally after over a month they came and installed the new window. After they left I looked at it and it looked like utter garbage. I decided screw it I'll just live with it. So, years later my dad needs a new windshield and we call safelite. The appointment was suppose to be today and after not showing in the time frame my father calls them on the phone. They apparently had to reschedule and apparently couldn't be bothered to let my father know so he didn't waste time waiting. If you have ANY other options, take them. Safelite is a company I really hope eventually ends up out of business. Unprofessional and take forever to get the job done. read more
