So disappointed with this safelight. We took our Mercedes Sprinter van to fix a windshield and they disabled our rear back up camera. We asked them about it, and they denied the claim. We are now having to take it to the Mercedes dealership in California to fix it!. I would say Do NOT bring your Mercedes Sprinter Van to Safelight to fix your windshield. We also temporarily had to buy a new rear camera for $500 to be able to see the back of the van when we reverse. This is a 24ft van. Kind advice: just take your specialized vehicles to the dealership, because they do not have the equipment to deal with their mistakes. This company is incompetent and did not want to admit their errors and they did not provide us with a resolution. What could they do to improve? Don't work on vehicles you cannot fix if you mess up their system, programs, or software. Just say you can't do this kind of car or van. It is simple. read more

Don't waste your time talking to Safelite if you're paying for your windshield out of pocket instead of insurance (since Lexus Nexus is now tracking any glass claims regardless what your ins broker says). I priced getting the front windshield replaced with multiple companies. Everybody but Safelite were in the same ballpark of ~$700. Safelite was $2600!!!. No, that's not a typo. I even double checked by calling directly. It has taken me almost 2 weeks and 3 appointments just to get my windshield replaced. The first time it took 3+ hours for them to tell me that the recalibration didn't go through. I come in again on my next day off to wait 3+ hours for the same thing to happen. However, the second time around they actually "special" ordered my Subaru manufactured glass instead of using their cheap go-to glass they use for everyone first hand. I am here for a third time just for a recalibration on the day I'm supposed to leave to California (6+ hour drive for me). Some of the staff is nice or whatever but their service is terrible. The worker didn't even know my OEM had already been replaced and was giving me an estimate of 2+ hours before the front-desk lady stepped in to tell him that's already been done (it is written on the paper he is holding too...) Thankfully, he estimates an hour instead so I'm hoping this is a correct estimate. I am tired of this. read more

Will never use this company ever again. They came out Saturday and replaced my windshield. Monday, we had rain, and my drivers' side windshield wiper flopped around and then stopped working entirely. Technician had removed it to put the windshield back on, and apparently didn't bother to test it once reinstalled. I had to wrench the car myself, and when I called the customer service line, it said (after a LONG hold) "We can't take your call right now, call us later." Seriously? On a safety issue like this? The facility itself is very clean (other than the little children's spot). They have free coffee, water, Wi-Fi, and a place to refill your water bottle. I have used Safelite multiple times in the past with my Jeep and my Cadillac. I've always had great service, no complaints whatsoever. The same technician came out every time. Around 6 months ago I even had them replace my windshield. The same technician did a great job with that. Then a week ago I got a tiny chip in my windshield. I scheduled my appointment, but this time a new/different technician came out. And while filling the tiny chip he caused a 2" crack. Then he proceeded to tell me "it happens, and now you'll need to replace your windshield." Did he do it on purpose to make more money by needing to replace the windshield? Maybe. But I called and spoke to Sergio, the "Assistant Manager". Sergio said there's nothing he can do about it and would do nothing to help me out. Not that he can't, but that he wouldn't. So now I have to spend over $700 for another new windshield. He refused to send a technician out to assess the damage the other technician caused. I guess the jackass that was supposed to come to replace my windshield didn't want to work yesterday! I scheduled an appointment, took the day off work, confirmed the text message they sent me the day prior, then on the actual day, the guy was a no show! I was home all day, nowhere on the confirmation email does it state to answer a call or your appointment will get cancelled! My phone blocks unknown numbers from calling due to all the spam calls I get all the time! Damn sun cracked my windshield. I've been here before, it's seems busier than the last time but not a big deal. I anticipate a 3 hour visit just in case. My ONLY complaint is people parking in the fricking handicapped parking space. I couldn't have had a better experience! I got two chips in my window. I made an appointment for the following morning. They were on time, early even. I was out of there in 30 minutes. The chip was in a spot that I assumed would spread but my tech was able to fix it. I can't even see where the other chip was it was done so well! The gal at the front desk was very nice. I didn't want to do this, I tried to be nice but nope! First, let me start off with 2 years ago I came to this same location and had no issues. 1 month ago, I came to this location and they didn't attached the cover on top of the rear view mirror, I tried calling for a week and no luck, so I went and the guy tried to say they did attached it properly. He assured me they would re attach it, well to my surprise it keeps falling off again. I mentioned to him that the entire glass needs to come off to be put on properly but they picked the easy route, therefore it keeps falling off. It may not be an inconvenience for everyone but it is for me when it keeps on dangling. Another thing I should have added, an important one.. they left their blade with the sticky tape on my seat! Thank goodness It didn't cut me. Man this place is sloppy and rushy. Go elsewhere! read more

They put in a new windshield that was scratched. Technician drove my car and said that it was good to go, I leave in my car within 1 block I noticed the scratches in the new windshield.. I took it right back, manager got in the car with me and he also seen the scratches in the windshield. So he said thy will come to my home on Monday to replace it. We'll they called my Monday and said they can't get windshield until Wednesday. I will never come here again, and I certainly wouldn't recommend it. Horrible, brought windows all dirty, left a mess on my panels, doors and windows themselves, left panels loose, left bolts and screws out, left my spoiler and trunk latch loose, left 2 of my brake lights out, Made 2 appts for them to come out and fix the issues, and every time they said they did, it was not fixed, called for a refund or at least a little something off, told I could get some off and they issued it, never went through and now they are ignoring my calls and emails, even the manager himself. The lady that's in the front counter is really rude and cocky and they told me that they can come to my place of business or where the vehicle was located at two to replace my windshield. I get here at 7 o'clock. my appointment was at seven I get her at 6:45 sorry and I was the last one to get my car pulled into work on and it was at 7:30. Why does your website say you close at 6 pm? I dropped my car off at 3:30 pm Saturday and I get a voicemail that they closed shop at 5. I was having dinner 15 mins away and you wouldn't stay open until 5:15 pm for me to pick up my car. I have school and work on Monday so now I have to figure that out. Sounds like someone just wanted to go home early. Never coming here again. Update your hours or be clear on when to pick up vehicles. The funny part - we still drove by and you were open and YOU LOCKED MY KEYS IN MY CAR. That's really f***ed up. You were depending on me to drive home and back with spares. You lied on the phone and told us my car wouldn't lock with the keys in the car. And we have everything you said on voicemail. If you wanted us to pick up the keys Monday and purposely, locked the keys in the car- WHY?? What if someone smashed my window and stole my car? Then you tell us you only locked them in because we were going to get spares. But we were only going to get spares because you said you closed at 5.... I am unsure if it is ALL satellite locations or just this one in particular, but there is always something. Every time I bring my car here. the 1st time I called safelite and had them come out to do my window. They came out and informed me that they couldn't do my window because my car was too new, and it had to be taken to a safe light facility so they could adjust my sensors. Keep in mind that when you call, they ask the make and model. So I brought my car to this safelight facility, and They had my car for a whole day and still did not do my windshield. At that time, I took my car back and called my insurance company and asked them to send me to another location. That would actually complete my window change. Now, here we are again. I need my window changed so my husband brought it back to this Safelight, and they did not call us and tell us that there were any issues. we attempted to call the, and there was no answer. they never called to say it was done or anything. I come down here to check up on my car, and they want me to sign A form telling me that my sensors wont-work and that they're not responsible that my sensors wont-work because they need to put in a different window because the window they put in wouldn't work with the sensorIn my car even though they've already installed a window. So now I have to drive around with no sensors until they are able to find a window for my car, and on top of that, they don't know If my insurance company will cover it because they will have to get it from the volkswagen dealer and I have to be Without my car for another day for them to install this window that they didn't have from the beginning. When I called to schedule this appointment. I feel like they should know if they had the window in their inventory instead of having my car from 8 AM to 11 with no phone call no txt Messages or anything telling me that they couldn't fix my window? UPDATE: I had my windshield replaced again by a different company. They told me that the last person who did it (safelite) broke a bunch of things. They broke the computer chip inside the road camera, left the wire harness hanging instead of fixed to the windshield itself, and they broke some of the trim under the hood of my car. Never ever coming here and strongly suggest no one comes here. This is very stupid how they break car safety devices (cameras for lane departure) and put lives at risk. This could have moved my car towards the side of the road thinking I wasn't in the lane and cause a crash. read more

I've used Safelite for years for my windshield needs, but today I had to actually go in because my car has a computer in the windshield that had to be recalibrated. The shop here is super inviting. Decorated for Christmas, staff all smiling, they even had a board with the Safelite pets (assuming employees). Just seemed like such a welcoming place to be. They said it would be 2-3 hrs, but I got a call exactly 1.5 hrs later saying the car was ready. Not sure about "value" because it is just an expensive windshield and I was paying my deductible, but I did check the dealership, which was just shy of $1000, and I know the guy that fixed our chips said they run $1000-$1500, so seems on point. read more

I would not recommend this place to anyone. They use duct tape to place on my window and the roof of my vehicle, which anyone would know it would damage the paint on your vehicle. My vehicle has vinyl on the roof so removing the glue from the duct tape they use is going to take a lot and may damage my roof, this place is horrible. read more

Terrible service! Terrible availability! Terrible communication! My boyfriend has a crack in his window, and not only did they run late the first time, they brought defective windshield glass twice. My boyfriend has tried to reschedule multiple times. Safelite offered to give him windshield wipers and OEM glass for free, due to their mess up. My boyfriend insisted they wrote that down when it was said, but they didn't. He has been fighting just to get a new appointment for over a month now. Every time he calls to figure everything out, he is met with an attitude, and denied what Safelite had already promised. He's called over a dozen times, and in that time his windshield crack grows.It's absolutely ridiculous. Even if this situation is fixed, we will probably never use this service again. I have always used Safelite auto glass for my windshield repairs. I needed a replacement and when I made my claim it was a two week wait to have a mobile unit or bring it in. I choose to bring it in and had and appointment. Let me say that again, APPOINTMENT. I arrived and after waiting 45 minutes they came and told me the replacement windshield was not at the shop nor could they find one. I was quoted three days. When I complained I was met with the best we can do is Sunday. Excellent customer service! What a joke. I called my insurance and made sure they marked this location as a do not use. We make appointments for repairs and ensure the parts are there. I think the corporate office needs to examine the management in this location. read more
