Messed up priorities in my opinion and lousy service. What is most surprising is when I called to get service is THEY ONLY CHECK ALARM COMMUNICATION TO THEM ONCE A WEEK. In other words if I HAD AN ALARM ACTIVATED FOR ANY REASON and my system communication had failed (like mine had) THEY would not know, not send the police or fire department. That is awful monitoring. A service company that doesn't provide service? Wow. I canceled my service; service that at end I was not getting. The CC tech even rounded DOWN the billable hours on top of not rushing things. I've seen the big guys named above, come bang out a lousy job full of shortcuts and then round up time, plus they up-sell at every turn and tell me our brand new system is already old technology before it's even installed, hoping I'll upgrade on the spot. I can honestly say it was a much better experience going with CC Security in every way. I'm glad I took a chance on them. These guys are small enough to still care about doing a good job first, and making sure you are happy so you remain a customer for a long time, yet competent and skilled enough to handle our high end system install and offer a good price. A better experience, did a better quality job, and happy to be partnering with a small local business. Those are getting rarer these days. Very knowledgeable and competent in setting up a new high-end 16TB security DVR (16 cam) system with 5MP dome cameras, PTZ units and mix of IP cams and analog. Reliable signed a contract with me and violated that contract through a rate hike, I called and they can't do anything about it and so you have to go through Brinks which is horrendous. Beware of what you're signing up for. It's 2018, do yourself a favor, use NEST aware or one of the smart home devices company. These legacy companies should seize to exist.

Yes, you came out over 9 times to get the system back working when it went down, but right after the warranty ran out you wanted $ to fix the system. We then hired a pro to fix the work and when he saw the 900' cable run with NO signal booster, he told me it was exactly why those far cameras never can be viewed remotely. Another note, I also had trouble communicating with anyone other than Owen. When he did not respond to a service request for 10 days, I tried to reach anyone else, but he is the only one I could reach. So that's not ideal.

He had no apologies and thought we were asking too much for him to come out. He blamed us for the camera problems because we "chose" the cheap install. He did not educate us on other options. He totally abandoned us once the warranty period past. In fact, he delayed service so that he the warranty could expire. We had to redo the entire system. The team that redid it were JAW-DROPPING SHOCKED at how poorly the work was done. Owen is EXTREMELY unprofessional and I would never recommend him. Please use your money wisely - this work is not cheap and your safety is important.
