Really helpful over the phone looking at some pics of some old vents I was worried about.

Jason returned my call when I left a message above doing Asbestos testing. After hearing about my situation and seeing the photos, he said testing wouldn't be necessary. Wow! He could have easily earned a quick buck by taking on my request, but because of his honest feedback, I won't need to order any unnecessary work. Thank you for honest people like you, Jason! I will make sure to recommend Safe Air Fast Environmental in the future! read more

Both Heather and Jason at Safe Air Fast were excellent to work with. They went a step beyond other businesses by providing feedback on photos of the insulation and ducts in my home to let me know whether testing would be needed. They are quick to respond and provide feedback. I really appreciate it. read more

I called this morning for a last minute for asbestos testing. They were able to squeeze me in an hour or so later. Eric was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Thank you Eric! I was even able to get the results the same day. read more

Service businesses are really about the people who service your needs. From my first interaction with Safe Air, I was pleased by their professionalism and responsiveness. But I really struck gold with Emilio who handled our inspection and gathered samples. He gave so much priceless advice about our asbestos situation. Most people who are busy like he is hope you don't bother them after you're done and paid them. Not Emilio. He encouraged me to get in touch with questions even after the job was done. I highly recommend this business and you'd be lucky if Emilio is assigned to your case! Can't thank you enough, Emilio! read more

I had a plumbing emergency that caused serious damage including the concern for air quality and safety of being in the house. The safeair team Was SO responsive and worked to get someone out ASAP to check the air quality, assess issues and provided a thorough report. I had called numerous companies all offering similar services, the cost varied substantially across companies and it felt like a lot were trying to upsell, safeair was not one of those and that is why I went with them. read more

Everyone I spoke to at Safe Air Fast Environmental was super kind, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The tests were done in an efficient manner and the customer service was top notch! read more

Safe Air Fast Environmental (SAFE) is a testing service for asbestos and lead in structures. In our case, they came to our home as directed by Service Master. The tester was well dressed and polite. He took 2-3 samples of the floor tiles and walls. 3-4 hours later we got a positive answer, which led to another removal service. The actual testing was painless, but the resulting billing is nothing but playing tag with them, us, and the insurance company. Their bill for this service? Nearly $600 read more

Kept having major leaks and the owner was nice enough to come out personally many times. Finally figured out that my husband was causing the issues and sleeping with the owner. I've been told this isn't the first time. read more

It's my first time getting my place checked for lead and asbestos, and I'm glad I went with Safe Air Fast Environmental. Abe was super duper helpful and spent 2.5 hours testing my place and answering all of my questions. Abe also gave me tips and recommendations for who to contact and what to watch out for when getting lead and/or asbestos abatement. Truly appreciate his help! read more

I didn't wind up needing their services but the company provided me a wealth of information on my concern re: asbestos testing, abatement, etc. Extremely helpful and based on brief interaction, I'd highly recommend! read more

Unfortunately, I needed to use this company due to a water leak. Fortunately, Tammy & Arianna? Were completely professional, fast & I was able to get test results promptly so construction could move forward. read more

Was referred to Safe Air Fast Environmental by Mike. I had the pleasure in working with Bridget for scheduling and George who did the sampling. They were both very easy to work with and super responsive. They sped up the whole process and provided awesome support all along the way at a very reasonable price. Absolutely no complaints and would definitely recommend. read more

Experienced mold issue after a water heater leak. Remediation work was in progress and I needed a mold clearance test performed afterwards. Called the office and left 2 voicemails over 2 days. Also left a message via their website on the first day. Finally got a call-back about 2 hours later on the second day. Heide was very helpful in getting an appt set up and emailed me their price sheet as requested. She was very flexible and understanding about the uncertainty of when the remediation would be completed and we tentatively scheduled a testing date. I appreciated how flexible they were with the scheduling. Technician came out around 2:15pm and took samples. He was masked and courteous. I was told I might be lucky enough to receive results that same day as the lab didn't close until 5pm. No results that day (I really didn't expect them same day anyway). However, I didn't receive them the next day either. (Note that I had drywall contractors and plumbers and HVAC personnel tentatively scheduled to work assuming a one day turnaround.) Finally received the results a little before 9am on the second day. Report was well written and straight forward. Review would have been 5 stars had they promptly responded to my initial contact attempts AND received my results the day after testing. read more

Don't hire this company they will waste your time. I called in distress because Myself, wife, and two kids are allergic to mold and we were getting sick in our newly purchased home and wanted professionals to come in and help us identify the source of mold in our home so that we could hire contractors to come in and make proper repairs. I was told I would get 3 air samples, crawl space would be inspected, and state of the art equipment would be used to evaluate our home for mold. It's all a lie if they don't see obvious water marks on your walls or windows they just run air samples and getting those air sample results from them is a challenge all on its own. $450 and all I got was some air samples and a phone call from a guy named Ted asking me what I expected from them. After I let him have it with how we were really relying on them to properly inspect our home so we could no longer wake up with itchy throats, watery eyes, and coughing there remedy was to just refund our money. Thanks for your consideration to my families health we thought we were hiring professionals. If your experiencing similar issues in your home with Mold hire someone else because now I have to wait weeks to get an appointment with another company. read more

Hector came to my home on a Sunday. Did a thorough inspection. He fixed the immediate issue gave me recommendations for up keep. Fast, knowledgeable, and I didn't feel pressured to buy anything. I attempted to make an appointment with Burke's, and they wanted 150.00 just to analyze, and call staff was not very helpful. Thanks Hector for being so helpful! read more

I recently discovered that the ventilation system in the home I rent uses materials with asbestos and was extremely shocked and upset by this discovery. The prospect my wife and son breathing asbestos who's affects cannot even be identified for 10-30 years was horrifying. I was referred to Safe Air Fast by an asbestos testing lab which did not actually do their own expert sampling and gathering. I talked to somebody named Ted. Once I got my landlord involved in the process however, Ted became extremely uncooperative with me for some strange reason (mind you it was I that reached out to him for testing), saying that he refused to take me on as a client, that the company policy was to work only with landlord. This seemed strange. But Ok I said, I would get written permission from the landlord. I told Ted that my landlord understood my concerns and was willing to sign off on basically anything. Sounds like a blank check? Yea. Exactly. Why would Ted act as an obstacle? Even once I had it verbally and in writing, this was not good enough. Ted became very rude with me when I even attempted to understand what the real issue was and why he refused to work with me. I am still confused by the whole episode. Suffice to say I have called a few other places since talking to Safe Air Fast, and they have all been more than willing to work with me, without any condition of my landlord's involvement even. I would highly recommend staying away from Safe Air Fast as there are many better options in the SF bay area, unless you like being treated poorly and being talked down to. read more

Kathy from Safe Air Fast Environmental was great in promptly setting up a same day testing and inspection of some linoleum tile that needed to be removed. She and the tech Jason are very knowledgable in this field and were a delight to work with. They even recommended abatement companies to take care of the removal. read more

I needed some quick asbestos testing on an old linoleum floor and SAFE responded to my message as soon as I left it. They had someone at my house within an hour of our first phone call and they sent me the results the same day (faster than the 24 hour turnaround they advertise). I had some questions about the results and their customer service rep was very responsive, made multiple attempts and got me the answers I needed quickly. read more

My business relies on getting fast, reliable testing done all the time. I've probably referred SAFE 20 time and never had a problem. The price for testing is pretty much the same, the difference is customer service. Kathy is the best. I always feel like I'm her priority, she gets to my clients right away and always answers her phone. When I needed a J report on my own house, she had it done immediately. It's not such a big company they can't keep track of where the reports are and yet it's big enough that there is always someone available to go to the job site. Go Kathy!!!! read more

I am a Project Manager for the last three years with a local restoration company and the entire SAFE team has been highly consistent with their dependability, professionalism, and support. The field guys are very knowledgeable and know what they are doing. The whole team's follow-up, is very good too. One of their dedicated and excellent teammates always call you right back, on the rare occasions when miss a call. Our company has grown over the last few years, and it coincides with our strong relationship with SAFE. Regarding some of the negative tenant comments, I advise having your owner or property manager work directly with SAFE as they are ultimately responsible for the property structure and providing a safe place to live. This should help provide a better experience for all parties. read more

The thought of having mold in your home is a very nerve racking experience. SAFE responded and came out to my home within 24 hours of my call...AMAZING! Their customer service, field care specialists, and timeliness were superb! I would absolutely refer this company to my friends and family. Thank you Ted and Don for taking the time to walk me through this process and for caring for my families well being. I appreciate all you did more than I can express! read more

Ted and his crew are very knowledgeable and professional. The appointments are flexible and they show up on time. When needed, they stepped in and provided their expert opinion to make sure the remediation was done correctly. I talked to many other companies (at least 5) and SAF does not use scare tactics to explode the job to more than it really is. They were able to provide the clearance test results in less than 24 hours when our situation called for it. Overall, in a landscape where the consumer is faced with many unknowns and less than honest service providers - it was a pleasure working with Ted and his crew. read more

We just had a visit from S.A.F.E., and Don was fantastic. He came out as part of an insurance claim, but while he was here we had a few other questions about other possible mold/moisture issues in our house. Don was so helpful, answering all of our questions and giving us advice on how to proceed, even on the things that were not part of the initial claim! Once this claim is finished we are definitely giving them a call back to test the other areas of concern we had. read more

As a professional in the water and mold abatement, I rely on SAFE at least 3 times a week. They quickly get to my customers, answer questions in a timely manner and I've never had a complaint. They do what we need them to do when we need it done. read more

I had SAFE Air come to my home to do an preliminary air quality inspection for mold after water damage. They took air samples from every room impacted and also outside to use as an independent variable. They arrived on time, were professional and provided the report within 24 hours. The report itself was really helpful as it had an itemized list of the remediation steps that should be taken. Consulted the report as remediation work was being done and caught a few things that the remediation company had missed out on. Definitely recommend. read more

We found mold in our bedroom. My husband has a lung condition, so we wanted to act fast. I called in the am & Ignatius was here that afternoon. He was very professional and took his time testing our house. He also gave us a lot of suggestions as to what we can do to keep the house safe. Kathy, was also very helpful in passing on names of companies to come out & do a deep window clean. I would recommend this company very highly. read more
