Received an Empty Package -- No Customer Service I ordered a holster from Safariland and received an empty package. The shipping label was intact, and the package had clearly been opened before it arrived. When I tried to call customer service, the phone rang for several minutes before a recording told me to email them, and then the call disconnected. No one ever answered the phone. I emailed with full documentation and never received a response. I ultimately had to file a dispute with my credit card company to resolve the issue because Safariland would not address it. This was a very disappointing experience, and I cannot recommend ordering directly from Safariland. read more

Very horrible customer service for a very expensive holster. I have ordered G17 RMR HD holster and it did not fit. I thought maybe I ordered RMR holster and not HD. I called to confirm and ask if the new Holster will fit which they did. I ordered 2nd expensive holster and it did NOT fit again. Great holsters but terrible customer service. I have used Safariland holsters for duty use and personal use and their holsters are fantastic. Their customer service however, leaves much to be desired. I wanted to purchase a holster for a newly acquired Colt 1911 Rail Gun. This 1911 does not have the oversized M45A1 style rail that later variants do and should fit into a holster made for a Springfield Operator with almost the same picatinny rail. I noticed that they also had an option for a Colt Government Model with a Surefire X300U listed in their holster finder on the website. When I called to ask which would fit better, the Springfield Operator holster or the Colt Government Model holster, the call taker said that Safariland did not make holsters for 1911s with a light, which is patently false, as I own 3 Safariland holsters that fit a 1911 with a Surefire X300U light. So I know Safariland makes a holster that fits a 1911 with an X300U. This illustrated a complete lack of knowledge of the products that the company he works for sells. When I called him out and said this wasn't true, he insisted that Safariland doesn't make any holster that fit a 1911 with a light mounted. When I again told him they did and that the holster finder indicated they did, he said to just go with what the holster finder said and shrugged it off. Come on Safariland, from other reviews I've seen customer service continues to be a problem. Great holsters but it's all brought down by awful customer service. read more

I wanted to return the belt but didn't receive the RMA email that they said was sent to begin with but still expected me to honor their 30 return policy regardless. Fulfillment and Customer Service (Darla) are absolute garbage. They can't actually help you and are full of excuses for their system being down. I ordered a 6390 in OD Green; they sent a black holster; customer service couldn't help but have me fill out an exchange form. When I asked if I had to wait another four weeks, Darla complained that I would be put in the order they received the exchange request. The website didnt offer the information for the part I was inquiring about but the two representatives I spoke with sounded annoyed and like they didnt want to he bothered. To say Safarilands CS is shocking really is a understatemen. I have never seen worse CS because hell there is no CS! Iv been waiting on a holster that shipped a month ago. I got a tracking number then the next day that was gone. Wasnt in my emails anymore. Iv called 3 times and emailed 5 times just asking for a damn Tracking #! They cannot even do that. I'm not kidding you! It's like the guy on the other end of the phone has just discovered the world and is at this very moment trying to learn how even the cell phone works! After being a loyal customer for 28 years for countless holsters and carriers for law enforcement and off duty I purchased a concealment holster for an M&P 2.0. When it didn't fit I called customer service and was told It would not work for the metal frame version. They sent me a return authorization and no shipping label. When I called back to ask for a return shipping label I was told based on my circumstances it was determined that they were not going to cover it. When I called back to explain that "metal frame" was not listed as an option and according to the description it should have fit my gun they held their ground and said return shipping would be on me. This is extremely embarrassing and it's obviously employees need additional training. I literally called to purchase a holster for a Sig Sauer P226 with a sure fire x300 light. This is going to sound unbelievable that a business operates this way but I swear it is true. I ordered a holster. A few days later I received an email saying it would not be shipped for approximately 3 weeks. I sent an email the next day saying this was unacceptable and to please cancel my order. The following day I recieved an email stating they couldnt cancel my order because the holster was shipped? What? The previous email said it wasn't going to be shipped for 3 weeks. Anyhow I figured I would wait on my holster. Two days later the tracking number they sent me still wasn't recognized. I sent an email stating the tracking number didn't work and I doubted they shipped my holster, so please refund my credit card that was charged. Crickets! Never heard from them again. I even called the customer support number. It said "leave a message." Nothing! I tracked my shipment. It was sent to Orlando FL, then to Jacksonville FL, then returned to Safariland. WTF. It has been a few weeks now. I sent another email saying the holster was returned but my credit card was not refunded. Crickets again. I had to call my credit card company and dispute the charge to get my money back. Their customer service is non existant. If there is no problem with your order you ate good to go. I went on to safari land's website went through the holster finder and then purchased the holster that it recommended. well then I try my pistol and optic in the holster and it doesn't "lock" into the holster like it should. I contacted Customer service and they basically said too bad. yeah our website is inaccurate and that firearm optic combination doesn't fit. I asked for a refund. nope no refund. emailed the CEO of safariland for assistance and nothing. So I am out the money for a holster I wouldn't have purchased if their website wasn't accurate. I ordered a holster from them on February 5th 2021 and hadn't received anything in over a month. I called once and it was just said orders take about a month. On my second call, after a month had passed, I was told they were behind on manufacturing orders, even though my order said "fulfilled on February 22nd" on my online account. I was told it should be shipping soon. Well I finally got my Bianchi brand holster, about 40 days after I ordered it. It wasn't anything special. I noticed the same holster plus others Safariland had on their site were available online. I purchased a second Bianchi holster and with free shipping it was 45 PERCENT CHEAPER than what safariland was asking! Plus I got it in two days! STAY AWAY!! Absolutely worst service and shipping time I've experienced from an established company. It took nearly an entire month to create a shipping label for my package, and one month later, I still have not received it. The website will ask you to join their junk email service every time you open it. Checking your order status is unhelpful as all it says is "unfulfilled". It boggles my mind how an established company takes this long to get a package shipped. What I ordered was a belt, not custom made, not any special instructions just a plain ol belt that was in stock, the website said "up to 30 days" like any other website. I did not expect to actually wait 30 days only for a shipping label to be created. Dear readers, I placed an order through a website for a Safariland magazine holder in September of 2019. Every few days I would check my order status to see if my item had shipped. Each time I checked, the status never changed to "Shipped." Days turned into weeks. I decided to call the website to question the issue and I was told that they are awaiting Safariland to produce the product so they can ship it to me. I was asked to call back in about four to six weeks. This ended up becoming a monthly routine. One month passed and I'd call, two months passed and I'd call, three months passed and I'd call. Each time I called I was given the same response as the first. I figured I would try emailing the website to see if I would get a different response. After a couple of emails to the website I ordered through, and Safariland directly as well, I received responses that finally answered my question. It was actually the website I ordered through that did some additional legwork to get me a straight answer from Safariland. Due to Safariland having to fulfill a large order from the military, I was informed that my Safariland mag holder would not be produced and available to ship to me until the end of March, 2020. What!? Safariland produces good products, which is why I went with their mag holder in the first place. However, I never would have expected to be thrown on the backburner, and basically discarded, simply because they needed to complete a large order. The website I ordered through had offered me a refund if I did not want to wait that long. To be honest, at that point I scoured the internet for a week trying to find a different website that might have what I needed in stock, but unfortunately no one had exactly what I was looking for. So, now I have to just sit and wait 6 months to have my order produced and then shipped to me, because Safariland does not want to also take care of the little guys; their concern is to take care of whoever brings them the most money. I understand that a business is in business to make money, but there should have been a plan put in place for situations where a large order can be fulfilled, while still being able to produce smaller, individual orders that are coming in. Take care of ALL of your customers, Safariland. Sadly, although I like Safariland's products, whenever I need something in the future, even if Safariland seems to be the best product, if what I'm looking for does not say "In Stock", I will be purchasing the item from another company. Ordered a plastic tri-release buckle that has an obvious design flaw which during a critical incident could be a safety hazard. This is my second buckle and minimal pressure will cause the locking mechanism to fail. The worst customer service I have ever had the displeasure of working with. I ordered a holster from them on may 9th. Was told 41 day lead time. After 45 days I emailed them and received no answer for a week. I called them and they told me another month due to shortage of materials. Alright I said. After a month still nothing. They said "we can send you a different part in order to get your holster out quicker" I told them fine. Anything to get my holster quicker. In 2 days I received a package with only the different part. I called back and they told me ANOTHER MONTH! I told them to just give me my money back. 3 months for a holster is ridiculous. Ordered in June and was told it might take 60 days because of COVID. Okay I get that.. I received the item in August but it was the wrong item. I tried to call but couldn't get through. Website said for faster response to use their contact email address. So I sent an email on 8/14.. then again on 8/23. Finally received a response on 9/4 that the only way to do a return was to call. So I spent the next month trying to call several times. . After 30 minutes on hold I hang up. I have a job I am not able to sit there for hours waiting for them to answer. Today I tried again.. 30 minutes and this time they hunt up on me.. I call back in and randomly select another option and TADA received a human being. Only to be told, they could not refund me or accept a return because it is more than 30 days old. Their product maybe good, I don't know. But the customer service is not worth it. I am now stuck with a $250 piece of worthless plastic from a "world class organization" FYI.. after reading other reviews the delays are not COVID related. I ordered a holster from their website and it stated the item would be delivered within two weeks unless it is a special order item and it would take longer. From the beginning their website states "Being Process". More than two weeks go by and the status stayed the same. I sent them an email and called the 15th day. The response was a recording stating that no one was available to answer the phone because everyone was in a company meeting. Is this how they run a large organization? So I called the next day and spoke to someone who said that it was being shipped out today. I asked him for the courier and tracking number and he didn't know. Terrible. I ordered over $200 worth of merchandise on beginning of February. I am writing this as of March 22, 2018. Most the merchandise I ordered from the manufacturer stated it will be at least 14 days to fulfill. Now it has been over a month and a half. I received only half of what I ordered. I have called and tried speaking with someone in customer service about a particular firearm and looking for a holster to fit it. They were extremely unhelpful and when I asked them about a 19X holster that has an RMR on it they told me that they don't make it. I said I can understand that but since the slide is the same exact size as a regular 19 I'm sure the holster would fit and she said "no it won't but you're welcome to try it however I keep getting returns on it so that's on you." Now I can understand her response to that although extremely rude and confrontational her response was maybe it's correct although I doubt it. Their holsters are well into the $200 range and I won't give them a cent of my money I was also getting ready to purchase their hearing protection as well that costs hundreds of dollars but I'll definitely go with MSA sordin or Peltor now. beware-- *polices & service members may die- because of the constant reuse of(cheaper) wide spec resin/ already used regrind/contaminated materials/ the blend of foreign resin. most of the holster & leg shrouds-have already been heated up a minimum of 10 times= makes it easier to : crack, break , stretched and be compromised @ a much less struggle. visit the plant on faye road in jacksonville fl and ask any employee how they feel they are treated when they question what they may see as a possible defective piece or part. i challenge u to visit the plant before you buy. i dare you to go see if the part you think that may save your life or your loved one life is inspected and packaged by an unhappy worker. 3041 faye road, get of your a?? and pay the place a visit! read more

About three months ago, I ordered a basic drop holster that the company said was in stock. Called after a month of not receiving my product and customer service informed me that it was enroute, shipping overnight the next day. A month after that, still no product. Called back. Advised they moved all their merchandise to new facility and certain holsters were lost, however a shipping label was created and will be shipped out overnight. Two weeks later, still no product. Called back two weeks after that and was informed they will try to locate item and ship out "overnight" next Monday. I then canceled the order. Three months for one item. Does not matter if warehouse moved to the middle east, it should never take this long and a paying customer should never be lied to. Stay far away from this place. I called them and they told me, they were not starting my holster until the old one was returned. Been nice to know that a lot earlier! Now a week later, old holster returned and I called again. Still had not started my new holster. Guy was nice and said they were upgrading shipping but still 6 to 8 weeks out. I asked to confirm the holster they are reordering and they had the same holster I returned as the one to reorder. Wow. It's been 6 months and still without my proper holster.
