This storage deserves 5+ stars. I have had several storage units over the years with some of their competitors but none of them can compare. What makes the difference is the cleanliness of the facility overall & their top notch support staff. The guys who work there, in particular, George, always has a ready smile, is courteous, knowledgeable & helpful. George can often be seen driving thru the facility on his golf cart showing units to potential customers. George can often be seen performing routine maintenance on the units, painting or general sweeping, blowing etc. The 3 guys who work there are more than willing to lend a hand if you need to move something. Storage companies essentially operate on the same concept. What makes this place standout from the others are these guys. read more

I took my mom to get a last minute storage this past Saturday and we were blown away with this place. It is very safe and clean they have 24 hr cams recording. Marisol I believe is the beautiful young lady that greeted me and my family. She listened to us very kindly and suggested the best size for us and in the end was exactly what we got, such a charismatic girl made our grumpy day flip right around. Robert showed us the unit and he was very kind and answered all our questions. The prices are very affordable and it's totally worth it. I WILL recommend. Very good team they have working there. Excellent place, excellent service, great management team. I was in a Public Storage unit where they told me they had alarms, cameras, and 24 hour live-in security, and I lost most of my Snap-On tools because of their misrepresentation. They had an alarm on the front gate only. Cameras in the parking lot only. No locks on the buildings and no cameras inside, so when people came over the wall. no alarm. When they went inside the building and cut my lock off, no alarm. And of course, with no alarm, no live-in security woke up and stopped them. Now I have alarms even on MY unit door. this storage is by far the friendliest , well managed and efficient ONE THAT i have seen in 25 years, in this area. we go back to SAF KEEP over and over even as we move far away....just now i rented 3 large units here even though i live in dublin . what keeps me returning to SAF KEEP is their office manager, GINA , who has been holding fort for 6 years . safety and security are excellent here and we rest happy knowing that our valuables are safe in this storage . and not forgetting a great incentive at SAF KEEP is their FREE TRUCK rental FOR A WHOLE DAY WITH STORE RENTAL. If there was more star, I would have given them 10 stars. They have a wonderful staff, especially great thanks to George, who has the best customer service I have ever received in my life. Today I was moving furniture and this young man saw me struggling and offered to help for no charge. Bless his heart. I've been going through some serious personal issues after losing my wife and apartment, this young man's kindness and work ethic are impeccable and I highly recommend this facility to anyone who is looking for a nice clean place to store their belongings at a great price! read more

Pros -Friendly Staff (Monnique helped us paperwork and payments) -I recommend getting an indoor unit, they are a little larger and cleaner -Free move-in truck is a bonus and if you needed the truck for move out it's also affordable. -Plenty of boxes and packing materials sold on site Cons (Not very many) -I wish the units were temperature controlled -Access hours are only from 7-645 7 days i week, I wish they could extend a little later other than that, this is a great storage place unit and i highly recommended it. read more

The staff here is friendly and professional and the facility is clean and feels safe, unlike the several others in the area I visited before choosing saf-keep. I was also pointed to these guys by a friend in Burlingame who uses their San Mateo facility and has nothing but good to say about them. I do wish that the gate was open later, as 7 pm (last access by 6:45 pm) can make it difficult to get there after work on a weekday, but that's not enough of an issue to cause me to not recommend them highly. read more

storage is a big business these day and saf keep seems to understand the need for affordable units . i shopped around and of course they had the best deal for the lowest price . staff seems friendly and the place is always clean . i think a later gate hour would serve a better purpose but im sure there is reasoning behind the 7 o'clock cut off . other than early gate hours saf keep is every thing you would expect from a caring company that is concerned with the customers needs . thanks saf keep read more

I have had my stuff stored here for 6 months now and have had no problems with anything. Recently,I asked for a light bulb change in my unit and promptly got help. At other places, I have had to put in a work order and they do it when I'm not there. Or I have to come back to let them in. I'm not comfortable with people in my unit when I'm not there. That was a relief. All in all I feel my stuff is safe and secure. Keep up the good work. read more

The Saf Keep Storage faciity in Hayward solved a big problem for me when I moved last month. I went from 2500 sq ft to 1800 sq ft so I rented one of their units that was the perfect size to store what I coudnt fit into the new house.I would have been in big trouble without the help of the staff in Hayward. I needed to move some large items out of storage to my car, but didn't have a second set of hands. They offered to help and even assisted in disposing of some larger boxes I needed removed.
