The pho tasted very home cooked in the best way. Must try if you like Pho. If you haven't tried Pho before, it's a very flavorful soup.

Yummm!!! First I'm soooo happy we beat the rush! By the time we left there was a waiting list.! The food came out quickly, the portions size is good. The teriyaki chicken is actually 3 small breast with a side of white rice and Veggies. The shrimp fried rice was very good the shrimp was large! The pho was good, there wasn't a lot of noodles. Which I was a little disappointed because other places we have gone are noodle over load. There didn't have soft drinks. The coke was in a glass, lemonades all came in a bottle. I've been coming here for years. They've been consistently awesome even through Covid. Not sure what's up with their yelp rating, hopeful it doesn't deter you from trying them out and supporting small businesses. I personally prefer the Pho here to some other local places. I've been going to this place since I've moved into the area and b/c it was the only pho spot close by -- so about 7-8 transactions. I wanted to like this family owned business but here's why I gave them 1 star: 1) they charge you for every little thing when you order out - [a LITTLE] extra sriracha $2, LIME $2, Thai basil $2, etc. which is pretty obnoxious but I get it b/c everything is expensive these days. 2) their new "no card transactions for less than $20 (cash only)" which the staff was very inconsistent with this rule when charging me. Staff service also relayed it was for dining only. 3) But what drove me to write this review, was my call to them moments ago. My 2 year old daughter and I are not feeling too well, and we just wanted one order of pho. The owner (an old man) answers the phone and tells me about the less than $20 transaction rule (which again I was told it applied to in house ordering) and later told me applied to to-go orders as well. I told him that I was never advised the rule previously for to-go orders and then from there, he begins to be rude over the phone. **Because of this, I decided to cancel the order entirely - note, I was not rude back but more so, confused. After that quick conversation, he just hangs up on me. Pretty rude and unprofessional if you ask me for someone who works in food service. If you can't speak to someone with an ounce of courtesy especially to your customers, don't be in the restaurant industry to begin with. ***So with that said, I'm done with this place*** read more

We tried this place because it was the closest to our house and we didn't feel like driving to Mekong Plaza for Pho. My wife and I were both surprised by the quality and flavor of the broth. Be sure to try it before adding anything to it. The portions are on the smaller side but you still get a full bowl of pho. The waiter was very attentive and food came out pretty fast. Great Vietnamese food in a local family owned restaurant! Try the pho, shrimp and pork rolls and cha gio (fried egg rolls).

Took them a few minutes to bring me a menu. But that's okay because I alway order the Pho Dac Biet wherever I go. Server was confused. That's a bad sign. I told her Dac Biet means combination. So she showed me their two different combinations. The one I usually get with all the meats, was $19!! Holy cow! Seriously. I told her I've never done this before, but I'm leaving on account of how overpriced their Pho is. And the bowls are medium sized. Don't get me wrong, I've paid up to $20 for pho before, but it was in an XL bowl, with all the meats and including oxtail. I left. As a frequent pho eater, I cannot recommend this place based on their prices. I know thins are more expensive, but we're not at the $20 for a medium bowl of pho yet. Definitely our favorite Vietnamese spot in the Gilbert/QueenCreek Area- even better than most places we've tried in Mesa and Chandler! From a highly populated Vietnamese area in Virginia- so after relocating to Arizona, we've been on the search for a good Vietnamese place. Clean interior, fast service, good food. Went on a Friday night. They said we could sit anywhere but most of the empty tables hadn't been cleaned. Seemed like they were very under staffed. The place is well lit which I didn't expect from the look of the outside. We sat and didn't have anyone come to our table for what felt like 5 minutes. I was on the verge of leaving. Unfortunately I was not able to try their food to truly review it, but I will say, both of my experiences was not too wonderful. First time I went in, they were too busy to take care of us because they appeared understaffed, this was last year. Then during covid I tried calling in for a pick up order and some of their menu items weren't available, so I was forced to order something different, it took me about 10min to decide what to order since nothing we truly wanted was available. We wanted to support a local business during this time is the only reason why we still continue to go through with the order. After ordering our food, not even two min later I got a call back saying, what we ordered wasn't available, because they "ran out of beef." If the only thing they sold was beef during this pandemic for most of their dishes, how can you be out and not know? I just found it odd. Two not so great experiences, but I will try them ONE more time, then update my review if I actually get a chance to try their food. read more

When of my favorite pho establishments in the East valley! Great portions. So much flavor in the broth and soup. We have also tried the garlic wings, summer rolls and seafood noodle dish. all favorites in our home! We have gone back multiple times and will continue to do so. Even through the staffing hurdles with COVID and some staffing shortages their servers work their tails off and always have positive attitudes. Clean, great service, and great location! This is my favorite go to for Pho and other Vietnamese food. The ambiance is nice and simple, the food is great and the prices are reasonable. My fave is the Lemongrass Chicken. The Pho is always a hit for soup lovers with a good flavor and all the usual fixings. I am always surprised at how empty it is. I'm leaving this review because I want to support them and keep them in business! It's getting hard to find unique restaurants that's aren't cookie cutter chains. July, 26 2023 update... I really wanted to change my rating, however, this is the closest place near my house and I was running around all day and it is obviously hot out but I wanted it. My usual places I go to are farther out. I should of took a picture as to how much meat they do not give to you for this $21 special pho. The last time I did a to go with them their price was around $16 and I thought that was pushing it. There was like a half of a meatball, 2 pieces of tendon, 4 pieces of brisket, 2 pieces of the thin sliced beef and like 3 pieces of chunkier tripe??? I get the price of living is up, but $21 dollars and you do not get much meat, soup or even noodles. Soup broth is really good, and I feel they would do better and be busier if they gave more or reduce their prices in comparison to others. 1.50 to exchange my peanut sauce for a fish sauce for my summer rolls?!!. Its like fish sauce, lemon juice, garlic, and sugar?! There are so many asian restaurants opening and their competition has tripled. I would love to eat here more often because they are good. But breaking my bank for a one person meal is just too much. 38$ for 1 order of summer rolls and 1 order of pho. Maybe there are other items that are worth it for the price but I am not sure. read more

This place used to be one of our regular places to go. But after last time when we had to wait almost 45 minutes for bland food after ordering we were hesitant to go back. However we did. We were in no rush so we were prepared for a wait. The food took a long time to get to us for what we expected because the place was not too busy, but nothing like the previous wait. This was long but acceptable. The food was great this time. Good flavor in the Pho and the dish my wife ordered. Service was a little slow but unlike previous times the server was actually trying take care of people which helped make a better impression on us. And to their credit they did have a help wanted sign out front. We will come back again because the food here is very good for us. Very quiet and serene with a low ambience of music. The P1. Sliced Steak is my go-to. It's served perfectas pictured; rare and ready to be tossed. This allows me to choose how rare or cooked I'd like my steak. It doesn't sound like a big deal, but this is the main reason that this is my favorite pho place so far. My Vietnamese friend brought me here for the pho, she said it's the best and I believe her. We shared some fried dumplings and summer rolls, both were really good. The dumplings were crispy, not soggy which is always a delightful treat. I had the chicken pho, the broth had nice flavor and the ingredients were so fresh and satisfying. Unfortunately, the prices have gotten insanely high- far beyond what I'm willing to pay for pho- while quality and portions have dropped. I was excited to try the dry noodle dish that is famous in Sa Dec, Vietnam and of course it is rare in the area. The interior is clean but not quite welcoming due to the overpower of white color. I'm not a picky eater and expected any much from the ambience of an Asian cuisine vibe ambiance. However, the noodle was too over cooked and lost its chewy texture. My 3 star is given for the sauce and the fresh ingredients. The chicken wings saves my whole experience so it's a must to try. I felt like they were understaffed for a Friday night. I saw the staff were coming in and out but most of us were not served. It was quite a long waiting time from ordering to receiving the food, almost 30 minutes for 4 noodle and 1 fried chicken wing. So it's not up to a basic standard for me. I gave it 1 more star for serving food in order: the appetizer before the main dish. read more

Really great pho place! I've been here many times over the years and they have definitely had their ups and downs over the years regarding the quality of their food. I came back today not sure how it would be but was pleasantly surprised. The meal I got was the S3 special rice noodles and my wife got the A11 Jalepeno Shrimp. Both were extremely good. Before COVID the A11 dish was pretty crappy after they changed the recipe but they have definitely fixed it. Absolutely will come back again soon. Highly recommended. read more

Horrendous service, I walk in and no one was there to serve me I waited around 10 minutes before I decided to go sit down myself. Finally the waitress comes out she looks at me, but doesn't give me a menu or anything. I walk up and ask for the menu and she gives me an attitude saying I should've waited. Waited for what? I come here for consistently delicious Vietnamese food. Their pho is phenomenal, it has lots of depth. We also like their crispy shrimp and chicken noodles. The delicious savory sauce is poured over the fried noodles and heaped with fresh vegetables and meat. The resulting noodle texture is amazing!
